These are some really delicious baked goods. They're all on point with the amount of sweetness it's not overboard or too much. It's perfectly balanced the chocolate chip cookies the s'more cookies. The cinnamon rolls are actually done just right with the perfect amount of sugar, cinnamon, and brown sugar and glaze. first of all, let me start with the service absolutely amazing. I called at 3:30 to see if they had any banana pudding left and they close at 4 PM. They said they had a few left but if they didn't, they'd even be willing to scoop me some fresh ones when I got there. The person who answered the phone also told me that they close at 4 PM, but they're usually there a few minutes after so if I'm running late just to knock on the door and they would take care of me. I mean, who says that to customers these days. I've seen this place all over TikTok and decided to stop off and grab a few things. I picked up some banana pudding and a few different cookies. I really wish I would've never come to this place cause I have this feeling I am now addicted. I love to see good people with great ideas do well. I am so beyond happy and proud of Ashley, if you joined her tiktok lives last year and early this year, you got to hear her speak her bakery into existence and plan it and to see it open and thriving brings me so much joy! I have gone twice! Once during the actual opening. During that time, we came at the right time as the line was just outside the door. It's a small shop and hot, I'm guessing due to the ovens. We got the strawberry banana matcha, s'more brownie, Tres leches, double chocolate cookie, and a brown sugar cookie (they were all out of cinnamon rolls at the time). All for about $45. The matcha was so amazing, super creamy! 9/10. The Tres leches was so good and fresh 8/10. As for the rest, I guess not a big fan of thin cookies. Just seemed bland and too chewy for my liking. Brownie was okay, super dense and fudgy which made it seem borderline underdone. I just stopped by this week for the matcha. This time I got the cinnamon rolls, a regular and a matcha, as well as a carrot cake ($35). Again I am noticing a texture trend, very soft but I believe it is cooked throughly. Too soft for me, but I did heat them up at home and the sugar helped give a nice texture to the outershell and it was good. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the matcha one more! As for the carrot cake, I took one bite and didn't like the texture and the taste wasn't there. Dense cake with not much spice or carrot taste, even the frosting wasn't too flavorful. Overall, it has potential to grow as they just opened, but to each their own. I'll support by continuing to buy matcha when I am in the area, but not worth spending $30 plus on treats. As for the space! Too small for the esthetic that the owner is trying to achieve, could be adjusted by removing the display table and making a cute mini one by the cashier. Went on a Friday morning and I was in and out in about 15 minutes! Workers are extremely friendly and they seem to have a good system going. I got the cinnamon roll latte, double matcha, a matcha cinnamon roll, and regular cinnamon roll. All were very delicious! I was excited to support a new small business, the experience didn't quite hit. It was great to see a line of customers outside, but the line management really needed attention, no one was guiding people in, especially when one person is standing by the window inside at the cookie section... which caused confusion.. Once inside, the energy felt off, the team didn't seem too happy to be there, which made the vibe feel a bit uninviting. As for the baked goods, they were hit or miss. The cookies were decent but on the thinner side, not something I'd come back for. The brownie, however, was delicious! We tried the matcha cinnamon roll and wouldn't get that again. Just dry and the flavors were for us even tho we are matcha lovers. Also, it is a shame to see. The drink experience was the most disappointing part; drinks were consistently overfilled, and we watched multiple people walk out with spilled drinks, including ourselves. Spending $7.50 on a drink that 12oz spills before the first sip definitely left an impression... and consistently kept happening. The area is very beautiful and it fits perfectly for the Bakery. Everyone was pretty chill inside. They had great music blasting.. a couple artists from LA. That was dope to hear. I went recently on a Wednesday midday about 2pm, there was no line. I got a matcha, two cookies and a cinnamon roll. The matcha was fire, not super sweet or grainy.. the cookies were soft and good (my fav was the smores) , the cinnamon roll was soft, although a bit too sweet for me (considering I'm not really a sweets person) but my husband liked it and he doesn't usually like cinnamon rolls. All in all, I had a good experience. I waited maybe a minute or two for the baked goods and maybe 5 mins for the matcha. The one thing I will say in regards to the lobby, it's hard to see where you order when people are standing in front of and sitting on the couches, I'd almost say do away with the couches and maybe add a few wood bar stools to keep it clear and flowy. I had been seeing this place. My friend and I decided to make it a day. I drove two hours one way to try it. I went in with high hopes. I got one of nearly everything on the menu and a drink. I didn't try anything there but the cinnamon roll latte with oat milk. It really was delicious. I decided to try all the food once I got home so I can try them with my husband, which means another two hours to get home and then another five or six hours before my husband gets home from work before we could taste them together. We were not disappointed. Of course we had our favorites but I can sincerely say I will definitely be back. Short and sweet: cookies were pretty good, I got a whole variety. Service was borderline bad-I came in around 2:30 on a Friday and the cashier (person who takes your order) was like a dead zombie. Face expression was like she couldn't be bothered. I said thank you after I paid and she said thanks in a very half hearted, not enthusiastic or cheerful way. I was thinking sheeesh! This is the kind of person you don't want as the face of your company when a first time customer visits. And the lady packing the cookies also looked like she was unhappy. I visited BadAsh Bakes during their first week of soft opening. I have watched the owner build this brand from the ground up. I used to purchase Ashley's cookies via her website. I knew I had to come and support. The support from everyone was amazing to see! Immediately walking into the business nothing but perfection. It smelt AMAZING. The ambiance was spectacular. I purchased: Matcha Latte- 100000/10. This was my favorite purchase. I'm very picky about my matcha it has to be the right shade of green. The flavour was so amazing, perfect ratio matcha to milk. Coffee Cake- So good! I really enjoyed the crumbl on top it was delicious. I wish I had heated it up at home I knew it would've hit even more! Carrot cake- So rich and moist. It was the perfect consistency and flavor. I'm really picky about my carrot cake but this was amazing. Banana Pudding- Great flavour, wasn't an overwhelming flavor. It tasted authentic not like artificial banana. Ashley, your hard work does not go unnoticed. You should be very proud of your accomplishments and more to come! I will say that they're just starting out and it's really hyped up right now so that definitely plays a part in people's reviews, here is just my opinion: I attempted to go there a couple of times the lines were pretty long, but fortunately I were close by so I didn't have to drive to check out her establishment. There was still a line when I went and the entire process took about 30 minutes. There was a lot of items that were already sold out by 1 PM, which is understandable due to the crowd that this place has been attracting since it's opened. When we finally got inside, the workers behind the counter were somewhat nice. I could tell that they were a little overwhelmed since it had open, but making conversation with them was really easy and helpful. It was very hot inside even with the door closed. I'm not sure if their AC is working properly or not, but it wasn't the most comfortable experience. The items that I did get, we enjoyed. We tried a few cookies, including their toffee, chocolate chip and brown sugar cookie. It wasn't phenomenal, but I am a big texture person, and it was super soft, which I loved. I will recommend paying in cash if you can because for some reason, their system malfunctions often, and I was told to swipe a second time, and now I have duplicate charges in my account that I have to dispute with my bank .
