A random little stop in Arts District that turned into the discovery of the most delicious, "not too sweet" donut! I tried the roasted corn donut and it was superb. I'm not the biggest donut fan as I find them excessively sweet but wow, this donut is truly not too sweet and the corn flavor shines through. The cream and the donut itself were also very fluffy and light! It's a dessert that's sure to please your tummy. Unfortunately, the strawberry matcha latte felt like the opposite. The strawberry syrup reminded me of the syrup you get on top of funnel cakes...wayy too sweet and artificial strawberry tasting for my tongue. The matcha itself tasted good when I pulled my straw a bit higher so maybe their lattes without strawberry are better. Jalepeno cheese scone was really good. It may look a bit underwhelming but it's packed with flavor and acts as a nice savory pairing. Service was honestly "whatever", the cashier didn't seem friendly but also not rude either. I think if I'm at a cafe with these prices and a vibrant theme, the service should also be on par and reflect that, but maybe they were having a bad day. Donuts are too good for me to completely shut down the possibility of a future visit based on the first impression lol. It's Arts District, so decent amount of meter street parking + paid lots available.

Came here for the pastries and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend also tried their breakfast sandwich and that was just..wow. Highly recommend to try it! All the donuts that we got were light yet flavorful. Not too sweet, but just enough to satisfy our sweeth tooth craving. Will definitely be returning.

If I could give this place a 10 star review, I would. Truly it all came down to Sean who really took the time to explain each item we asked about on the menu. He was so sweet and kind, and truly made us want to go back. I tried their chestnut tiramisu latte, along with their strawberry donut, banana pudding donut, and their chocolate chip cookie! They are all worth trying, it was really hard to choose a favorite but their donuts definitely don't miss paired with their signature drink.

What a cute little bakery in this area! Discovered this place thru the La Bakery walk. We sampled the butter rice cake. It looks like à la Madeline but then on the other side, it's buttery and little chewy. It was good. I also got the strawberry latte and added a shot of decaf. I thought it was a very good drink. Great strawberry flavor! .

Came to this location for a mid day pick me up. I was definitely too late to get any pastries which I really do want to circle back and try. I tried the knotted cream top, as a coffee lover... I wasn't too impressed. If you don't love the taste of coffee this is a perfect drink for you. However... I love coffee and could not taste the coffee at all. After a few sips my drink was completely white. I would love to try this location again and give it another try!

I always like coming to Knotted. This location is an actual store front which is nice. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating too. The have their famous donuts along with savory pastries, cookies & sandwiches. Along with their treats they have really good drinks here. The matcha latte is so good and smooth. Delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming

Having been to Santa Monica outlet couple times and aware that they recent expanded into Arts District, with much cuter space. Handful of parking space available around, which was certainly a PLUS PLUS knowing how tough this area was. They still carried their signature doughnuts and cookies, but further increasing the options with basque cheesecake and butter tteok, yep that hype thing you might have seen thousand times on your screen. I was tad in a rush so I could just stop by for a drink. Also kind of a bummer that it's relatively slow to get the drink ready despite it's not like busy busy. I got their crowd's favorite Banana Cream Latte, coming with banana milk base, my choice of milk (picking almond), espresso shot, and banana cream top. Overall the coffee was okay to me, but the banana flavor was bit subtle for my liking. Might make a come back for their butter tteok some time.

The coffee and the desserts were really good! 9/10 the desserts were good because they are not overly sweet. The service was nor here nor there, I felt rushed by the cashier and it was not out the door busy. I felt so rushed that I forgot to switch out the milk The place is small so it is hard to find seating luckily we were taking it to go. If I'm in the area and get lucky with a parking spot I will definitely revisit. The banana cream top was extremely good it was 10/10, one star down because it felt like their coffee to milk ratio could be better.

Café Knotted in the arts District is a must go to. I know it's really hard to pick a Matcha/coffee location, knowing that the market is very oversaturated now. However, café knotted has perfected their art. I swung by and landed on the Ube Matcha, double Matcha and Chestnut tiramisu latte. It was fun to watch the barista, create each beverage with such skill and attention to detail. Not only is café. Knotted interior design, beautiful but so are all their crafted beverages. I will say the one that stood out the most was the Ube Matcha. The creamy Matcha and Ube mixture make a perfect combination. I enjoyed the taste and will definitely be back for more.

We happen to be in the area and saw that the café was popping so decided to stop for a drink. We got the ube cream top and a Biscoff doughnut. I was a little worried initially that the doughnut would be too sweet, but it was actually very balanced and not too sweet. The ube drink was excellent. There's some limited sitting in the café, so most people get their order to go, but if you're lucky to snag a spot, this would be a perfect place to chill for an afternoon.

Such a yummy and aesthetic cafe! Bakery items are excellent and staff is so friendly. Our favorites were the savory breakfast sandwich, strawberry milk donut and honey garlic butter bun warmed up! Will be coming again soon.

Stopped by for a treat! We've been to their Century City location and enjoyed their pastries. We got the strawberry cream and it was tasty. The cream was light, strawberries fresh and the dough had a great airiness.

I want to start off by saying that looking for parking on a beautiful Saturday afternoon was horrible. I ordered the Hojicha Cream Top and the hojicha flavor was spot on!! However, I wasn't much of a fan of their cream top. Once it mixed in with the drink part, it was a bit overpowering. I also got the honey garlic bagel and that only okay. I'm a big sweet-savory girl but I felt like this was a little too sweet, and the bagel was a bit soggy too. The interior is quite small and seats get taken up pretty quickly, so I would say that it's not too ideal to wfh here on a Saturday. But I'd definitely come back for their other drinks and pastries!

I ended up parking about a block away, so prepare for that if you're coming during peak hours. I ordered the Tropical Hibiscus and the Coconut Matcha Einspanner. The Tropical Hibiscus was a great caffeine-free option with a light, citrusy flavor that was really refreshing. The Coconut Matcha Einspanner was the standout. The coconut water made it incredibly refreshing, and the matcha was smooth and light without being too earthy or overpowering. Everything worked well together, and I'd order it again without hesitation. The cafe itself has a clean, modern aesthetic featuring a pretty tree in the middle. They also have a photo booth inside that was fun, although the photo quality looked like it was printed on a receipt which could be a vibe. The music fit the atmosphere well and made the space feel relaxed without being too loud. Overall, it's a nice spot to grab a drink and spend some time with friends. Parking can be a hassle, but the drinks and atmosphere make it worth the trip. I'd definitely come back to work my way through more of the menu.

I stumbled across their Yelp page when I was visiting from out of town and checked the Instagram for their hours on a Saturday afternoon and was happy to see they were open! I am a sucker for pop-up coffee shop/cart concepts so I had to check it out. The pop-up is easy to find, it's outside facing into the parking lot, and they had a cute A-frame sign out by the street side. There was no line, and I ordered and sat down at one of the tables out front. The service was so warm, and I believe the shop is owned and operated by one man on his own! He was an absolute delight to meet, and he brought my matcha latte to me at the table when it was prepared. He suggested I get the cream top on it, and boy was that the perfect recommendation. I would say I'm a little bit of a matcha fiend... I think I got a matcha latte at 3 different places this day... and this one far surpassed the others. I think it was one of the best matcha lattes I have ever drank to-date. It was perfectly green, the matcha quality was phenomenal, both taste and look-wise. The texture was just right, perfectly creamy with barely any grittiness. The cream top only added to the drink, and didn't take away from the matcha flavor at all, which I feel like has happened at other places for me. I'm dreaming of this matcha latte days later, and need to go back to Kokoro No Coffee as soon as I am in town again. This was a spectacular find, and I hope this spot gets all the love it deserves! There is truly nothing like a great business ran by a great person and you can tell there's so much intention put into this concept. Highly, highly recommend and I could not sing praises more!
