    Iced Chai

I've been to many bagel spots in Dallas however this one might be one of the better ones! I was immediately greeted by the staff who were all incredibly nice and seemed like they truly liked their jobs. They were all helpful and even brought my coffee to me because they saw I was pregnant. I ended up trying the Longhorn and Texan bagel (and added sausage)- both were toasted perfectly but still soft. The flavors were perfectly savory and blended well with the meat and eggs. I also tried a hot coffee and an iced chai. The coffee was fine however I don't think I'd get an iced chai again - not enough flavor and a bit watered down for my liking. For a Saturday, the ambiance was busy with a mix of quite a few people picking up orders as well as coming to dine in. The spot is small so there is not a ton of seating, however the bagels more than make up for it! The owner is also incredibly nice and spoke to us for a while. I love a spot who employees make time to meet and talk to their customers! Will definitely be back again!

Sausage egg + cheese + hash browns bagel. Solid greasy breakfast food when you need it most! Tasted great, could be a little more moist, great with some hot sauce

Stumbled upon this place a couple months ago while searching for a bagel place on google maps, and I'm glad I found this one! These are some tasty and dense bagels, and if you go early there's a lot more to choose from. Service is quick dependent on the time of day, if it's early you get your order within minutes, if it's later it might take a little bit. The place is small and quaint, but if there's no more inside seats there's a couple tables outside.

I have been coming here for lonnggg time and I have never walked in to pick up an order and have a staff member look at my crazy as if I have no BUSINESS THERE & basically refuse to speak ! Until I say hello 3 different times ! wow ! This rep does not reflect the neighborhood love that this business normally displays ! Horrible ! If I had not placed my order on uber I would have left without spending a dollar !

Who can resist tasting a rainbow? Not me. Decent and small bagel shoppe. Friendly service and they are busy in their tight space.

Food is delicious. Bagels are nice and fluffy. Service was kind. Cute little bagel shop, music is nice and not too loud.

    Hasher on Bacon Cheddar

I've been to all the hyped up bagel spots around Dallas and this is hands-down my favorite! The service when you initially order is so great, the staff are all so friendly and genuinely happy to be there serving some dang good bagels. Then, the bagels themselves are FANTASTIC. They're always made fresh and they have some very unique flavors I haven't found at other places (such as rosemary olive oil, bacon cheddar, etc). You can control how toasted you want your bagel too - they also butter the bagels ever so slightly so you get a nice buttery crunch when you bite in. And then last but not least, the price point is amazing - my order (the Hasher) is typically 16-18$ at other spots around town, here it's only $9. Can't say enough good things about this place, the quality, the staff, the unique flavors, etc etc!

Staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions. Ordered a club sandwich, 2 muffins (pistachio and raspberry), and 2 bagels. Bagels are heavy and dense, not good for sandwiches. Fillings were fresh and plentiful, although bacon was hard to find and taste. Muffins also dense. Raspberry had more true flavor, pistachio tasted like sugary bread. Two bagels at home were too dense, tough, and hard to chew even after toasting. Definitely not my type of bagel or what I grew up on.

This is a great little bagel place. They have some seating inside and two tables outside. Staff is very friendly. They were pretty busy with walk-in traffic and lots of DoorDash orders. The bagels are legit NY style bagels. I picked up breakfast for me and my friend and her fiancé that live close by. My everything bagel with scallion and bacon was so tasty. Loved the chew of my bagel. My friends had never had eaten here and both enjoyed their bagels too and kept commenting on how good they were. I got a few bagels to make the road trip home and they were all good and stayed fresh. I wish we had a place like this back home!

I was looking for a new bagel place to try and went in on a Sunday morning around 11am. There was about 7 people and not too busy, this shop is small though so it felt kinda packed. My sister and I both ordered and had our order in about 5 mins. The service was friendly and fast, not sure what it's like earlier in the morning. I ordered the protein plus bagel which was turkey, egg, cheese and an avocado spread. I choose a jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was very delicious. I also got a small hazelnut coffee. My sister tried the Salmon sliced and cream cheese on a plain bagel with a horchata. Both bagels were stuffed, we couldn't wait to try them and ate in the car. I was only able to finish half and it was very delicious. Will be back to try the other bagels.

Overall Rating: 4 stars (O = good, X = bad) 1. Atmosphere: O Atmosphere was nice, pretty cozy breakfast/bagel spot but a lil small 2. Service: O Customer service was pleasant 3. Food/Products: O I got a standard cheddar bacon bagel with cream cheese. Solid, can't complain 4. Pricing: x My bagel was 4.50 which to me is a lil on the pricier end for a standard bagel but it is what it is, there are other items on the menu that you can use your judgement to decide but this is mine. 5. Overall Experience: O Nice cozy spot where you can grab a quick bagel, whole lotta other options and additions you can add to the bagel which is a plus for those who love to layer their bagels. Pull up Highlights/Recommendations: mmmmh bagels

Bagel Cage 21 is still my favorite local haunt for getting my bagel fix. I especially love their beautiful, bright rainbow bagels that they only make and serve on the weekends. The downside is that the weekends are extremely busy here and the available space to stand in line or wait for your order, or even to sit down and eat is extremely limited. There are a few tables and chairs inside and out, but the majority of customers take their orders to go. The staff and customers are always very polite here. Prices are a bit steep, but everything is these days. My bagel with sausage, egg, cheese and cream cheese was about $11, and my husband's salmon and lox on an everything bagel was about $12. We didn't get drinks, but they have a fridge at the front of the store that makes it easy to grab a soda or OJ to go. You can also order coffee or other beverages from the counter when you place your order. I wish these guys would consider expanding to a new space or maybe buy out the Jersey Subs next door so that they could offer their customers more room.

All that, I HAD to give them a try... The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the ambiance. I loved it! Simply, yet tastefully decorated, with soft/easily listening rock playing. It was easy like Sunday morning, just like it was legitimately was! My eggs were cooked to a perfect over-medium. My breakfast came with 2 sausage patties, and 2 pieces of bacon and 2 pancakes. I was not a fan of the breakfast meats. I did not care for the taste of the sausage patties, nor did I care for the texture of the bacon. It was actually tough. Maybe because I had high expectations going in, but my pancakes were my biggest disappointment. While they were fluffy, the taste was just okay, if not too bland. They were also a little tough around the edges, indicating they were a bit overdone. Honestly, I was shocked that these pancakes were sent to me as some of the best by Yelp, but hey, we all have different tastes, right? While I have given you my disappointments, I need to be sure to list the biggest highlight of our experience, which was our server, Hailey. She was great and did a fantastic job.

A bit of a Sunday brunch rush, but the wait was only 20 minutes. The service was friendly, but distracted. We had to remind twice to get a high chair and ask as many times for silverware and napkins. The chia seed bowl was tasty but lacking what First Watch offers. Maybe add some vanilla to the chia to sweeten without adding sugar or some compote on the bottom of the bowl as a nice surprise. But at $9.99, it's a good option. The BT Mocha was over the top in the best ways but also the stack coma inducing sweetness left little room for the actual coffee stuff. Biggest drawback with such a popular and tasty spot is the single stall bathrooms. With mimosas and a full bar, and coffee to push things along, there of course is a multi-person line. Being a new and independent venue, they can't do much to expand the options. But maybe consider automating the bathrooms to speed things along: self-flushing toilet, automatic soap, sink and towel dispensers. Also, with the volume of folks, the bathroom needs constant attention.
