Everything bagel and olive cream cheese
    Krista G.

The bagels at Benny's are out this world good. They are so soft and flavorful! The lox cream cheese is mixed fresh and the bagels were stil soft and chewy 3 days later. This establishment's food is 5 star worthy but I knocked off a star because they are hit or miss on the selection. If you want specific bagels, you need to call ahead but it is someone's cell phone so they do not always answer. Ordering online isn't seamless and their POS system is a little shaky (no itemized receipt and it seems like I'm never charged the same amount).

Loved Bennys Bagels tried it for the first time today with my husband., my brother in law's family and father in law. Most delicious bagel I've ever made. I got the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and tomato 4 of us got onion bagels with lox and cream cheese and my sister in law got a breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel with an egg and cheese. It's one of the few kosher restaurants in Dallas. Wish they would open one in San Antonio! IGNORE ALL THE 3 star and lower reviews! You have Torrey it.

Open face lox bagel. It was so good I forgot to take a picture until after I ate half.

This place is good. It's a chain but seems to be supported by repeat business, which is always a good sign. The lox bagel was legit!!! Get it open faced for extra salmon! Will come back to try their pizza. This place deserves more than 3.5 stars.

I love bagels and bennys serves absolutely delicious bagels and spreads. The quality rivals that of good New York bagels and the prices are totally reasonable. The service is okay. They are friendly enough and it doesn't usually take that long to get our food out. The bagels are DEFINITELY the reason you are coming here though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is pretty beat up and could some TLC. The door is in rough shape, the layout is pretty bare, and the bathrooms are pretty bad lately.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also I have a baby and the changing table has often had boxes and stuff on it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Again, the bagels are so good I would easily rate them 5/5 but they really need to do a little work on the place to make it feel more comfortable to visit instead of just grab and dash.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I apologize in advance but no pictures this time. This is one of the most embarrassing situations because my everything bagel with Lox and cream cheese and capers was hot and just out of the over. It was inhaled!!! Truly one of the most wonderful things I have put in my mouth in ages. I can smell fresh baked bagels and bread from the moment the door was opened. This place is a gem. Yet, they get busy and it can be a bit hectic when there are families waiting for food but the pizza's looked incredible. Everyone was so happy and not one plate wasn't devoured. NOTE Benny's Bagels on Frankford is a KOSHER establishment. You will not be able to bring in your own food or drinks. There is nothing made with Pork/Piggy (or any meat for that matter) Everything is made fresh on premise and their NY Water Bagel is still one of the best I have ever had. This is a family owned and operated establishment and the owner is highly engaged in it's success. My belly is full and I am smiling from ear to ear. Wish you all were here with me... ******************** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ********************

This place is a disaster! I was sure they had violations for cleanliness so i checked, but they don't. On the way in, the building looks old and tired, and the front door is rotting out. Inside trash is overflowing the garbage cans, the counters are dirty and cluttered, the plastic plants are atrocious and dusty, and the clock on the wall is broken. Plus, the baking area looks like it could use a good scrubbing. There also seems to be no process or division of labor between the two workers that were there. We saw the food being touched directly by hands as it was prepared. And some people seemed to come and go ahead of the line. Anyway, in spite of all this, they still do attract a loyal crowd of local Jewish clients. We waited in line for what seemed like forever but which was probably just 15 minutes... and when we finally get to the front of the line they tell us that they only have jalapeño, cranberry and blueberry bagels. It would have been nice to let everyone know that in advance instead of making us all waste 15 minutes for our lives... Our quest for the best bagels in Dallas continues, but we didn't find them here!

    Amazing warm Everything bagels!
    Michael L.

WOW that was awesome! went in Sunday morning looking for everything bagels. they were sold out, I was disappointed, but the woman at the counter said, I can bake you some if you want them, it would only be 10 minutes. WOW so happy to have fresh warm bagels with chive cream cheese to take home. made some killer breakfast sandwiches with them! Thank you so much for a great experience and a great Bagel!

This Benny's Bagels has the best challah in town. It is like cake. Go early on Fridays before they run out.

We first ordered some coffee an Americano and a Drip. They both tasted great the Drip was warm enough, though perhaps should have requested they pre-heat the cup : ) Believe they use Addison Coffee Roasters, a local coffee roaster whose coffee we also buy for our home use. We had the East Coaster and the eggs with potatoes. The East Coaster is a toasted bagel (your choice of bagel) with in-house cured salmon and all the fixins. For the eggs & potatoes, I subbed a croissant for the toast for an upcharge. Everything was delicious. I was a little worried that the croissant may not be up to par, but it was great. Highly recommend this place. Including tip we spent a tad over fifty bucks but it was worth it. By the time we were finished, it had filled up nicely. The Market is still an excellent place for breakfast & brunch. Highly recommended.

After getting inside I could tell why. The BBQ smell hits you as you open the door and it smelled sooooo good. They had a giant menu written onto the wall. Some of the meats were sold out. We debated for a bit and then decided to do a group order. Our Group of 7 people ordered the Cattleleack Platter and sides of burnt end beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and Mac and cheese. Oh and don't forget to ask for cornbread too. Inside tey had large tables and benches to sit at and we secured our spot. The food was delicous. The Beef Rib was huge and melted in my mouth. The brisket was amazing and seasoned well. Everything tasted great. Everyone ate til they were full and we still had leftovers. I ate them later at night and they were still good.
