Onion bagel with cream cheese and lox
    Judy B.

Loved Bennys Bagels tried it for the first time today with my husband., my brother in law's family and father in law. Most delicious bagel I've ever made. I got the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and tomato 4 of us got onion bagels with lox and cream cheese and my sister in law got a breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel with an egg and cheese. It's one of the few kosher restaurants in Dallas. Wish they would open one in San Antonio! IGNORE ALL THE 3 star and lower reviews! You have Torrey it.

Open face lox bagel. It was so good I forgot to take a picture until after I ate half.

This place is good. It's a chain but seems to be supported by repeat business, which is always a good sign. The lox bagel was legit!!! Get it open faced for extra salmon! Will come back to try their pizza. This place deserves more than 3.5 stars.

I love bagels and bennys serves absolutely delicious bagels and spreads. The quality rivals that of good New York bagels and the prices are totally reasonable. The service is okay. They are friendly enough and it doesn't usually take that long to get our food out. The bagels are DEFINITELY the reason you are coming here though. The place is pretty beat up and could some TLC. The door is in rough shape, the layout is pretty bare, and the bathrooms are pretty bad lately. Also I have a baby and the changing table has often had boxes and stuff on it. Again, the bagels are so good I would easily rate them 5/5 but they really need to do a little work on the place to make it feel more comfortable to visit instead of just grab and dash.

I apologize in advance but no pictures this time. This is one of the most embarrassing situations because my everything bagel with Lox and cream cheese and capers was hot and just out of the over. It was inhaled!!! Truly one of the most wonderful things I have put in my mouth in ages. I can smell fresh baked bagels and bread from the moment the door was opened. This place is a gem. Yet, they get busy and it can be a bit hectic when there are families waiting for food but the pizza's looked incredible. Everyone was so happy and not one plate wasn't devoured. NOTE Benny's Bagels on Frankford is a KOSHER establishment. You will not be able to bring in your own food or drinks. There is nothing made with Pork/Piggy (or any meat for that matter) Everything is made fresh on premise and their NY Water Bagel is still one of the best I have ever had. This is a family owned and operated establishment and the owner is highly engaged in it's success. My belly is full and I am smiling from ear to ear. Wish you all were here with me... ******************** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ********************

This place is a disaster! I was sure they had violations for cleanliness so i checked, but they don't. On the way in, the building looks old and tired, and the front door is rotting out. Inside trash is overflowing the garbage cans, the counters are dirty and cluttered, the plastic plants are atrocious and dusty, and the clock on the wall is broken. Plus, the baking area looks like it could use a good scrubbing. There also seems to be no process or division of labor between the two workers that were there. We saw the food being touched directly by hands as it was prepared. And some people seemed to come and go ahead of the line. Anyway, in spite of all this, they still do attract a loyal crowd of local Jewish clients. We waited in line for what seemed like forever but which was probably just 15 minutes... and when we finally get to the front of the line they tell us that they only have jalapeño, cranberry and blueberry bagels. It would have been nice to let everyone know that in advance instead of making us all waste 15 minutes for our lives... Our quest for the best bagels in Dallas continues, but we didn't find them here!

    Amazing warm Everything bagels!
    Michael L.

WOW that was awesome! went in Sunday morning looking for everything bagels. they were sold out, I was disappointed, but the woman at the counter said, I can bake you some if you want them, it would only be 10 minutes. WOW so happy to have fresh warm bagels with chive cream cheese to take home. made some killer breakfast sandwiches with them! Thank you so much for a great experience and a great Bagel!

This Benny's Bagels has the best challah in town. It is like cake. Go early on Fridays before they run out.

We had breakfast in the hotel and our server was helpful, friendly and had a sense of humor. We visited the pool and were surprised that it was not heated. The hotel gym was decent, could use a better (newer) bench but it had the basics. Our room had everything we needed (the bed was quite soft) and a great view of the eye across the street. My first shower would only get warm and not hot so maintenance had to come up and show me a safely button to push which allows the water to get hot. This was after texting with hotel staff (a very helpful option) but surprising that they didn't just tell me about the button and chose to send maintenance. We were in room 852 on the North side of the hotel and overlooking the eye. We came back from dinner around 10 on Saturday night and were kept awake until about 1:30am. I guess Main St is where people choose to drive their cars with the music so loud it feels as though it's in your hotel room. The motorcycles and cars also like to rev their engines.... A LOT. The windows appear to be single pane and they don't keep any noise out at all. Due to the noise level, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.  Being on the 8th floor and feeling like I was in the cars that were driving on main st and blaring music 2 nights in a row was incredibly disappointing.  If this was a 2 star hotel, okay.  That is not the case.  Upgrade the windows to double or triple pane.  Your location is great, service was friendly and efficient, but one generally wants to sleep at night and that is not possible at your hotel. We even asked the front desk on our second morning if we should change rooms and were told Sunday nights were quiet. I should have listened to my gut as our Sunday night was not quiet. Although the amount of cars & motorcycles wasn't as much as on Saturday, we still heard several cars with music blaring or motorcycles reviving their engines until around 1am. This was the beginning of a long overdue vacation and birthday celebration and it did not get started on the right foot unfortunately.

Best decision ever From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with so much enthusiasm and seated right away by the window --although I was a little unsure about staying there since it was already cold outside . While we were deciding, someone immediately checked in to make sure we were okay (love that ). That's when the very kind gentleman--who we later learned was Victor Hugo--let us know another table would be clearing shortly so we could move. Top-tier service already For appetizers, we went with the brisket balls, duck taquitos, and a pitcher of pineapple mimosas . Let me tell you... those duck taquitos were SO good That crema?? EVERYTHING. The brisket balls instantly took us back to Turks & Caicos --IFYKYK We also tried the quesadilla, and once again--another hit . So good that we ended up ordering another round of the brisket balls because why not? Shoutout to Sayde and Maria, who were absolutely amazing . Tequila shots were flowing , and we were convinced to order pecan pie with ice cream for dessert . I do wish the dessert had been complimentary, and the pie would've been a solid 10/10 if it were warm--but still appreciated. We started off with a pitcher of mimosa and the duck taquitos. I'm usually not a fan duck however I was told to give it a try. If you hadn't told me it was duck, I probably would have thought it was chicken. The mimosa was a build your own, it came with 3 juices - orange, pineapple and cranberry - and you got to pour as much or as little juice as you wanted. Between the two of us, we each got about 3 glasses. I got the French toast, which tasted like a deep fried donut, in a good way. The outside was crunchy, the inside still had the pillow custard texture. However in my opinion it needed more of the apple pecan slaw especially if you weren't trying to drown them in syrup. My friend had the chilequillas which she really enjoyed but did mention a few times that it was a little spicy. We ended the meal with dessert which was rich and luscious but oh so delicious. It was a cholesterol mouse that was covered in a hazelnut chocolate shell with a raspberry sauce. Overall a great time was had & I'd gladly go back to try more.
