Food is great but don't come on a Sunday morning unless you're prepared to wait. The shop is chaotic and it doesn't seem very organized.

Overall the bagel sandwiches are good! They lack in sanitation though. Both the ladies in the front wear the same gloves to make food, handle cash, open the front door to bring people food on the patio, adjust their masks, etc... . I never saw them change gloves, hence what's the point of wearing them? They have a sign in front that masks are mandatory but the guy preparing food in back doesn't wear one. We have ordered a few times from here and like the food but just wish they would practice safe food handling. read more

I tried to go on Sunday at like 11 but they were sold out (my bad for sleeping in!) but I came back on Monday and got a breakfast sandwich and 6 bagels and they were both amazing! We've sampled a lot of the bagels available locally and in our opinion this tops them all. Nice big bagels with good toppings. My only gripe is that the bagels have too much topping if that's possible. But overall great flavor and texture compared with other local offerings. read more

These bagels are amazing! I got an everything bagel with cream cheese, and a hot horchata that was made with coffee! Yes! with coffee! It was absolutely delicious. I would suggest to get there early because they didn't have a lot of selection left. The bagels were large and had a nice harder outside and were soft on the inside. The cream cheese looked like it was made fresh and whipped. The rainbow bagel looks fun too, I will arrive earlier next time to make sure I can try one :) read more

The first time I went, I was able to grab most of the bagel flavors I wanted. Tasted pretty good. The last few times I have tried to order, even for a lunch sandwich they are out of so many flavors. Seems like they either can't meet demand or just not sure how much to make so they don't make enough. Bummer. read more

These are the BEST BAGELS in the DFW area!! They're fluffy & thick but not too doughy. Everything is made fresh right in front of you & the bagels are so good. My only complaint is I don't eat dairy (because of skin issues) & they put cheese on my bagel both times I've gone & it had to be re-made. Also, they usually run out of bagels around lunch time which is fine but I wish I could go for lunch & still be able to choose the bagel I want without only have to choose from a garlic or sesame. I've been looking forward to trying Bagel Cafe 21 since I read the article about them in the Dallas Morning News before they opened. We finally got over there this morning and I was not disappointed! Great variety of bagels and my egg sandwich was excellent with fresh cooked eggs and perfectly cooked bacon that wasn't burnt but also wasn't too chewy. Super solid overall and it's great to see another small business in the area. We will definitely be back!! read more

Amazing production. They produce amazing quality and variety for such a small team. The line is around the door during peak times, but you can always call in a bag. Make sure you order the small portion of cream cheese, the larger tubs are expensive and I never use them. The low-fat cream cheese is very bland and low-fat so a great diet option but not whipped or light and salty as some are. The specialty drinks are such a nice touch and it's always fun to get one of their rainbow bagels or specialty flavors for the kids!!! read more

Good bagels. My only complaint is that the "fresh squeezed orange juice" is not fresh squeezed from oranges. It's poured into cups and kept in the fridge. And it tastes like a bottled orange juice with flavor added, just like tropicana. It's a little unethical, but everything else is great. Good prices for bundles of bagels as well. This is a wonderful bagel shop that reminds us of our beloved bagel shop in the north shore of Boston, Bagel World. The lines were often out the door there and it is the same here. DON'T WORRY!! The line moves fast enough! People know a good thing! When we dropped by at about 10:30 on a Saturday morning, the variety of bagels were pretty much all sold out but those that were left were still delicious. Great choice of sandwiches--both lunch and breakfast. A word to the wise: go early or order ahead for pick up if you are in a hurry. Otherwise, enjoy the experience. Bagels are super dense and not much flavor. Also, even though they have trays in pictures they don't provide them. We went to sit outside and eat our bagels and they refused the trays because they were for pictures only and people were meant to take the bagels to go.
