The manager and a younger gentleman behind the counter were absolutely phenomenal-- equal to the food! I devoured the Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissant on the drive home (it never even had a chance!), and the Chicken Caprese Baguette was absolutely mouthwatering. Everything was stocked up when we went at noon. I've had Paris Baguette many times before and to be honest, all the pastries always looked really good but all tasted eh. There was nothing that really stood out for me. This time I got the crab croquette and the garlic mini croissants, those were all pretty good when you heat them up at home. I so wanted to love this place, since I'm a True Foodie & I adore Paris! Have been anticipating the opening, but it's just overpriced hype. We ordered togo, so we could taste with a French wine at home. We purchased the Pepperoni Pizzeria, which was lacking the pepperoni and the Korean BBQ Pizzeria, which was delicious but overpriced, along with the Almond Pastry to taste with tomorrow's coffee. And we also ordered a Triple Chocolate Cream cake, which at $7.49 was meh, I prefer the desserts at Central Market which are far more reasonable!!!!! Make sure you bring your wallet...for counter service it's high, high, high! There were 12 people working and only 2 cashiers, it took FOREVER to get checked out. Food Inventory was on the low side too. Oh, and we didn't see any baguettes for sale...one big Meh. Like other reviewers, I was so excited to see the Paris Baguette open nearby. I've been in twice, to see if it was just an initial experience, rubbed me the wrong way, but it appears to be the same. Fairly empty right now and the service was really bad. The first time that I haven't tipped in a long time. Someone else mentioned that the staff doesn't know the products and I concur. I would add that. I don't think they know the brand at all. One of the coolest things about Paris baguette is the service and awareness of what makes pastry delicious. Hot or warm things should be hot and no one should have to ask to have them heated. Having a cold pastry is such a disappointment, especially when you have requested it to be warmed up twice. I know someone said that the staff was friendly, but I have not found that to be the case. Not even a "hello" or can I heat anything up" or "is there anything else I can get you?" to go with my $20 order. It's not the right neighborhood for bad service and expensive / lackluster treats. Coffee is still exceptional. Poor service is still an issue. Cashier was bent over computer with her elbows on the counter and didn't bother to stand up or ask if she could help us. We ordered two cold brews and we had to go back to the counter and ask for our drinks. Three other customers came after us and they were served before us. Over this place was fine. The pastry's were nothing to die for and was honestly just ok. Drinks wise I got the Korean milk coffee which was good nothing to complain, it is on the sweet side though. While I am excited to have this new location around the corner, I was just appointed after making a special trip here. Walking in the ambience is beautiful as it is with most Paris baguette stores, But they just did not have anything in stock. At what point do you hang a sign on the window and say we are sold out folks? I did find a cream cheese and almond danish that was delicious. My service that I received at the counter was friendly and upbeat. I will review them again in the future on another visit, but as for today they would've been better off saying they were closed, If they could not have it better stocked almost 3 hours before closing time. read more

Ah Paris Baguette, your unbridled expansion puzzles me. Every time I've had it stateside, I just don't get what is fueling the growth of this company when the food is so lackluster? I just went to this new location at Coit and Campbell in Richardson, hoping that I could give this chain another shot, and I'm so regretful on spending $17 for 2 slices of mediocre cake when I should've known better. Despite my disappointment with the food, the cafe and presentation is beautiful. I think this is why I keep tricking myself into coming back to this chain. The food and pastries are beautifully presented, and I want to love it. But, maybe that's why it's such a let down. You think you are going to have this amazing food because it looks so delicious, but then you in total disbelief when you discover how bland the food is. My husband and I got a slice of cake each. He got the strawberry cream and I got the NY Cheesecake. Both were beautifully packaged in the navy blue carry box, but the cheesecake was one of the saddest ones ever. It's supposed to be rich and flavorful but this just tastes bland. I did not sample the cake my husband got, but he was not a fan. Side note- I had ordered 2 full Paris Baguette Cakes for my husband's birthday a few months ago (different flavors Blueberry Yogurt and Red Velvet) and those weren't great either from a different PB location, but we figured since this was a new location and two different varieties, we might find something we like. But just like all the other varieties, these cakes just leave so much to be desired. I want to be clear, I think PB makes the items to spec, it's just the recipes and the ingredients lack yum. This place is brand new, and the service was disorganized. The lady who took our order seemed truly daunted by is ordering two slices of cake and the gentleman who rang us up, didn't ask if we wanted to scan our reward app. I had to intervene and ask him to allow me to do so. The first time I had Paris Baguette was in Singapore and it was great! Now, I'm not sure what differences are in the US version, but every time I've been to one here I regret it. My brain cannot separate the great experience I had in Singapore from the constant let down I experience here. The cafes are beautiful and the food is presented so artfully, but bottom line is the food doesn't deliver on the promise of the set up. read more

I'm jealous! Jealous because there is not a store closer to where I live. A friend told me about this Paris Baguette just yesterday and I decided to stop in since I was in the area. I am so glad I did. The decor when you walk in just draws you into the space. Love the blue and white tiles. I am so glad that one of the employees walked I. Behind me and asked if this was my first time and she graciously assisted me in the process. You grab a tray and tongs and begin making your selection of all the delectable items. I choose of course the croissant and apple strudel. Apple anything is my favorite. The two items did not disappoint. Everything was refrigerated but you can have them warmed up. This Paris baguette location is knocking it out of the park! Fully stocked, attractive, friendly service, and the manager is going around to tables talking to everyone. I love the outdoor dining area. They are making the sweet cream cold brew better than the Plano location does. The cream here is not over whipped and mixes into the coffee well. I love new places and especially a place with this type of variety and menu for sweet tooth's. Because they are newly opened and have a concept of pick up a tray, put your paper on top of tray and grab your own pair of tongs they should of had someone at front door to guide people. There were people who had not been to a place like this and made for some confusion and wondering around. I ordered a croissant and asked for it to be warm. I then asked for some butter and jam. They looked at me like I was crazy. I said yes you know jelly or jam ? And she shook her no like I was so out of left field. Over my left shoulder there is a whole display of raspberry jam for sale.... And no butter for a croissant ? Those are easy fixes. And these days I do get annoyed with the tip screen when you pay.
