Pumpernickel bagel with turkey bacon, cheese, and 2 eggs ($9.25, delivery)
Jess L.

Saturday morning delivery of bagels was spontaneously on the docket this past weekend. Bagel Hut had the only delivery time estimate under 45 minutes, so we decided to go for it. We were not disappointed! (And it actually came closer to 35 minutes!) We got 3 different egg and cheese sandwiches - nothing too fancy. Their DoorDash menu was pretty big, covering lots of deli categories. I wish they had other egg bagel sandwiches, but clearly we were fine concocting our own. Also, can you add sausage as a protein option? The bagels were tasty and had the right amount of "spring" to them. The sandwiches were scrumptious! Each came with a free beverage option, too, which was a nice touch. I'd like to try some of their sweet baked goods next time!

Welcome to Bagel Hut!!

Our go to place when we're preparing to go out for a day of fishing on the sound. Not bad for any other day too! Their lox is expensive, but we'll worth it!! Staff are always friendly and attentive! Always trying their very best to keep everyone happy and we'll taken care of. I highly recommend it for that early morning bagel craving! For me, I normally order a toasted sunflower flagel (flat bagel) spread with plain cream cheese.....heavenly delicious! Their everything bagel, cinnamon raisin bagel, onion bagel are all pretty amazing too! If I had one complaint, it's that they don't have a better seating situation, but I guess that's not possible due to the lack of available space. So, to summarize: If you want a fresh, authentic New York bagel, made right, and served the way that you want it....then look no further, you've found it right here in the heart of Great Neck!

Free 12oz coffee with egg sandwich purchase.

Terrible service. Had no salt. Would not honor the free 12oz coffee with an egg sandwich. Said they don't do it there or something. Very rude about it.

Looked alright but was a death trap

Ordered everything bagel with sablefish, scallion creamcheese and onions... Nearly choked to death as it was filled with bones that also stabbed the roof of my mouth as i bit down..

Ordered from bagel hut ... but it says best bagels

Let me start by saying this is my favorite bagel place in Great Neck. Not their sister store (best bagels). Since I like it so much I been trying to get them to deliver to my job which is in great neck. Always there is so kind of excuse so I gave up on ordering from them. We have ordered from best bagels too without knowing they are owned by the same person and we didn't like it so we never ordered from them again. So I decided to give the hut a try again and Called them to see if they would deliver. They told me they will and didn't say anything else. So we get the food an hour or so later and their menu and receipt says "best bagels." We were so confused, thought we ordered wrong. If they were going to send it to another store, they should have let us know. If we wanted the food from best bagel I would have called them myself. Please bagel hut, don't do this to anyone. We keep coming back because the food is good. But you guys need to have faster delivery service and let us know what's going on. The 2 places are completely different. I never had a French toast worse than the one that was sent from best bagels in my life. And it was all cold. Thank you for bringing me my challah French toast because that is why I wanted French toast in the first place. The wait was so long and I was so hungry...... I will come back but I just had to say this experience from today cause I couldn't believe anyone would do that. This is so people that check yelp knows to ask where they getting the food from.

My Nana loves Bagel Hut. Now, if you knew my Nana, that would be enough. Case closed. Best bagels in Great Neck, best bagels on Long Island, best bagels in NY. Likely the best bagels in the country, and quite possibly the world. High praise, I know. But you don't know my Nana. She knows what's good and accepts only the best. And when I was living in the Bagel wasteland of Northern California, Nana brought bags and bags of hot Bagel Hut bagels on the plane. And even after a long day of traveling, these were still the best bagels ever. Now, they have these new mini-bagel things. Nana said they were good, but I was skeptical. And Nana was right again. All of the flavor and joy, with a fraction of the calories. Sometimes you just want a little bit of a bagel... even if it is the best bagel in the world. But in all seriousness, for me, these are the bagels that all other bagels are measured against. And truly, most bagels don't even come close. Flavor, texture, crust, and crew are all exceptional. It would be nice to have a place to sit and nosh in the store... but for my favorite bagels, I am willing to eat them in the car.

Ripping off customers.

Bagels are above average but nothing spectacular. Their prices are absurd. $1.35 for a bagel? Bagel with tuna $7.25? These prices are higher than Manhattan and Brooklyn prices. On top of this they then tack on a credit card surcharge (which does not appear to be within the confines of the law since you are allowed to offer a cash discount and not a credit card surcharge) of 3.5%. Everyone uses credit cards. Get with the times. It's ibsul

Always a long line, on top of being pricey. They are the same owner as Best Bagel which is the same deal.

I used to frequent MB when it was owned by the previous owners. Several days each week I would…read moredrive from my home in Great Neck, and pick up my order of half a dozen egg sandwiches on toasted bagels or a pound of lox cream cheese and a pound of veggie cream cheese. This ritual went on from 2015 - 2019. My family and I loved the food from MB. Fast forward to 2020 and now my family and I live in Manhasset. MB has a different owner and the quality in my opinion has gone south. The bagels now are bigger but are way too dough. I recently purchase a pound of lox cream cheese and there was barely 2 or 3 little oueces of fish in the pound of cream cheese. The sausage, egg and cheese and bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwiches leaves a lot to desire. My kids now get all their breakfast sandwiches from Orlando's. When it comes to our hankering for yummy bagels, we go out of our way and hit Munsey Park Bagels on Northern Blvd. MPB has a wide variety of freshly made bagels. They have the freshest lox, veggie, scallion and jalapeno cream cheese available anywhere. In fact you actually taste the delicious smoky lox in every schmear and bite. Their tunafish salad is to die for and is always fresh and reminds me of the tunafish salad my mom used to make when I was growing up. The only thing better than the food at Munsey Patk Bagel are the people who work there!

Best NY-style bagel I had in this area of Long Island. Had an egg bagel with cream cheese, and it…read morewas fluffy and flavorful. Sat inside to eat, but not a lot of tables to choose from. Every bagel place in the NY-area feels like they have to make a black and white cookie, and they don't. I'm a big fan of B&W's and cake icing doesn't belong on this cookie (texture-wise), yet the flavor of the black and the white side was pretty mellow (which was good). The cake bottom was too thick and a little too dry.
