So check this out i wanted a cold cut sandwich I stood in line for 5 minutes tops then when I finally got up to the register I noticed one of the girls standing there counting money with gloves on and then finally closed her draw and walked away. Then she came back out and stared at the tv and didn't even acknowledge me or take my order. So whatever I let that slide I didn't want her to touch my food anyway she still had the same gloves on she touched the money with. (Dirtyass) So then I see dude slicing deli turkey and he starts walking g over to the register to ring out another customer mind you he still got the same gloves on he was cutting the turkey with. I stood there and watched him press the buttons on the register and grab dudes money with the gloves on and give him his change back. Now as I'm standing there I noticed he didn't even acknowledge me at all and he proceeded back to the slicer with the same gloves on and cut the turkey meat. (Dirtyass) So I instantly left. Not sure what is going on here, but looks like there are either new owners or management. An order I just placed a few days ago now all of a sudden seems to be over a dollar more today, with less items in the order. Then when I complained to the snotty kid behind the counter, the 'manager' an older man man in a dirty t-shirt with his belly on display basically tells me, too bad. Then proceeds to charge me an extra 50 cents for using my card, then as if that were not bad enough, when I told him he has lost a customer, he just shrugged his shoulders and went about his business. Needless to say, we won't be back. I don't care if I have to drive double the miles, this place will never get my business again. read more

Every time I offer breakfast here I am disappointed. I always order over easy eggs but get fried over cooked eggs. If I ask for extra bacon, they will charge me and not put extra on, and they sometimes put cheese on my sandwich when I never ask for it! I am lactose intolerant and have had to scrape cheese off or just throw out my entire breakfast! I don't understand why it is hard for them especially when I text in my order!!!! You have a printed copy of what I ordered and still can't get it right! Today my sandwich had such undercooked bacon (see pics) that I had to throw the sandwich out! (I work early am so I had to time to go back and get a new sandwich) I also noticed one of the kids working behind the counter blow his nose with his gloves on then continue to work with those same gloves!!! I have given this establishment many chances and have now run out of patience! They are good for bagels, especially with their buy 12 get 12! This place is usually decent! Today it was a joke probably bc it was all teenagers running the place. I asked for a salt bagel with extra veggie cream cheese I received a plain bagel with the smallest amount of cream cheese ever, not to mention how tiny the bagel was. My son also got a salt bagel but with butter..... hes 4 and asked why I got him a baby bagel lol! I didn't notice till we got home bc I didn't think I had to check the bagels. Several people came in after me, ordered food and left before me. I have patience of a saint but this is Fkn insane. Today I went to Bagel Lovers , within my order of bagels , cream cheese , I asked for an everything bagel , an everything mini and a bialy . I didn't receive any type of everything bagel , regular or mini , and their so called bialy is a blob of bread . It looks like left over bagel dough and they didn't know what to do with it. They ended giving me all sesame , but I had no idea this was the case until I got home . They didn't give me the option to have something else of my choosing . When I called to tell them about it , the girl replied that's the way our bialys are made , no apology for it giving me no choice on my purchase , and then she said well what do you want me to say ?& hung up the phone . The customer service is horrendous. The cream cheese is ok , hence some stars at all . I guess customer service is out the window . The attitude is absolutely atrocious. I can see why they have a low rating . It doesn't have to be that way . While I was waiting I could see a woman cooking on the grill. She had long nails and no gloves . She picked up pieces of cut onions with her bare fingers and nails and was sprinkling them on the grill. Long nails especially artificial nails harbor bacteria. It is basic hygiene, she should have been wearing gloves while handling food . Isn't that illegal or least something the health department would give a violation for . Great local spot! There food is great. They offer a little bit of everything.... Bacon egg and cheese, bagels, lunch. But I can only speak about their bacon and egg sandwiches. I always order via phone and my order is always ready when I get there ( I live about 5-10 mins away) and is most often times completed to perfection. The breakfast sandwich comes with a free juice or coffee which saves me the trip to Dunkin donuts on my way in to work. There service is friendly and their prices are reasonable. Overall this is a great spot to come Oh... And a suggestion. It's in a shopping center off of sunrise highway but if you are heading westbound make sure you get off at exit 52a it may look like 52 is the best exit but it's not because you won't be able to enter the shopping center. Bagel Lovers is my favorite bagel store in the area. The prices are good, but the employees make each visit so much better. This place is more convenient than good. In my opinion, I don't think the bagels are that great. I cannot describe how because it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is. Bland? The consistency? No adjective exists that I can think of. However I know that every time I get a bagel from here I am never blown away, where I know 2 other bagel places that I LOVE their bagels. The coleslaw and potato salad tastes like King Kullen already packages salads, which is not good. The macaroni salad too.... all do not taste like deli fresh. I had to stop in while visiting from Florida. One thing I miss about Long Island is Bagel Lovers! And now they have vegan cream cheese which is delicious!!! 1st part of review. I just bought a dozen bagles, the price was good and if you buy a dozen, you get a dozen for a dollar more than the dozen price on line of 13.00. Let me start by saying this was the filthiest restaurant I have ever been to. We went for a quick lunch and the place was semi busy. Took sometime to get a bagel with tuna and one that was lightly toasted with butter. People behind counter making food with rubber gloves on but also handling money with same gloves. WHATS THE POINT?? The floors were covered with used napkins, dust and leaves. I could not finish my bagel because my stomach started turning. I can't imagine what the kitchen area must look like. This place should be inspected by the board of health. I'm sure they would be cited if in fact not closed down. Stay away. Stay far away. read more

This place was great the two times I've been there to eat in. However, beware.. don't order over the phone because the female that took my order, either forgot or didn't care.
