Every single time I have been here, my order has been incorrect. Whether it's one week ordering scrambled eggs with cheese and not getting the cheese or one week ordering sausage egg and cheese and not getting the sausage. Today, I ordered lox and cream cheese and no cream cheese was on the bagel. In addition,two eggs scrambled in a plate and they decided to put cheese on it today. In all honesty, I would say with the exception of about three people, (and I can point them out) this staff is just not good. Soft, chewy inside with a bit of a crunch on the outside make these bagels phenomenal. A true NY bagel is boiled before being baked and they do just that. They're not stingy with the cream cheese either, BUT a cream cheese and lox spread on a bagel may burn a hole in your pocket too... Almost $7. Not sure how often they have a "rush" I went around 12PMish and the line was out the door. The thing is they take an order and they disappear into the back room for a while. I ordered 2 eggs with cheese on a bagel. After I had ordered I was trying to find the girl who helped me to see if I could have gotten the bagel toasted, however once my order was placed she was just completely gone until she returned with my sandwich. She was a very nice lady so I don't want to complain about that. I just hope they aren't back their making the sandwiches themselves and taking orders as well. The sandwich wasn't so terrible, but it wasn't one of the greatest ever. Other then that, the place is clean. The staff is friendly, and the amount of assortment of bagels and cream cheeses they have is outstanding as well. The food was disgusting. I just order it today (5/5/20). I ordered the Greek salad wrap. They forgot to put grilled chicken. Are you kidding. It was gross. The potato salad tasted old and nasty. Yes it is a great bagel place.. they also have great doup and wraps! But I wish one of the workers would listen to what you ask for!! I went in there and I have a bagel once a week and wanted extra butter and cream cheese and when I opened my bagel I think he waved the butter over the bagel! I would pay for extra cream cheese. . Ordered egg whites, spinach, turkey, and swiss on a scopped egg bagel....amazing! Huge sandwich and delicious!! Also a big shout out that they have a Teachers Special, for $19 you get 24 bagels, 1lb plain cc, and 8oz butter! Cant beat it!! read more

First time I went to this bagel store I was waiting ten minutes to just be helped while two girls were on their phones to the side, ordered two BEC on a roll and when they were brought home both had no bacon on them. Decided to give this place another try today and workers again were inattentive and after minutes of waiting for my order to be taken, the cashier was very rude. I ordered BEC on a roll again (note the women before us order a egg sandwiches and she asked the chef's if the grill was still on and they said yes) we wait to the side while the food is being made and minutes later she goes "the grill off what else do you want". I didn't love the bagels here. I live in NY which is the mecca of all things bagel so my bar is always set extremely high. With that being said... Bagel Lovers ranked extremely low and the place wasn't up to my standards whatsoever! Immediately upon entering I noticed how dirty this bagel store was!! Crumbs all over the tables, napkins on the dirty floor, the grill in the kitchen looked greasy, and the biggest turn off was that they leave cooked bacon out in the open on top of the dirty grill basically to marinate in bacteria. Not to mention the bacon barely looked cooked when it was given to me. The prices were good, like all bagels it didn't cost much but I also wasn't impressed when it came to the taste. These bagels were extremely salty...like abnormally salty. The bagels also didn't taste homemade or 100% fresh...other places in the area actually boil their bagels in house...not sure if Bagel Lovers does or doesn't but it didn't taste like they do. The service was friendly but that can't carry the place! Unfortunately I will not be returning as there are WAY better bagel places in the area that are clean! read more

Don't let long lines intimidate you - the line moves fast because the folks behind the counter have this down to a science. Do try the flavored cream cheeses. Food is okay at best. I was here a few years ago and everything was amazing. Service has gone downhill big time. The young girls who work there all look and act like they don't want to be there. Ask for a bacon egg and cheese and the cheese is slapped on as an afterthought and not even melted. No "hello" or "thank you" or "have a good day". I used to go here regularly when I worked at Service Merchanise ( years ago, I know) and it was well run and efficient. I have recently gone twice in the last few months. Both times, the girls at the counter were very engrossed in their private conversations about their social lives and their nails. I was overlooked on both occasions, and had to ask for help when it was not busy and there were at least 4- 6 employees at the counter. Today, not only did I have to tell them I hadn't been helped when they asked someone behind me, I didn't even get a thank -you when they rang me up. Horrible place. I waited almost 8 minutes to not even get a cup of coffee at 3:40pm and the sign on the door says closes at 4pm. The two girls continued to talk on the kitchen and at one one of the girls rudely says 'What the f? We are closed'. If you close at 4pm, you should be serving paying customers until 4pm not 20 minutes before. If you wanted to close early, then lock the door so people do not come in. Maybe the owner shouldn't hire high school or college kids who don't care about their job or making the place stay in business. Unfortunately, I can't rate this place with not stars. read more
