Bagel Pub is one of my favorite places to get a bagel. They have a great variety of options for bagels and cream cheese. My personal favorites are the strawberry cream cheese and the cinnamon roll cream cheese. They also have a variety of breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, etc. The wait time to receive my order was a very acceptable amount of time. I like that there is a good amount of seating upstairs if you would like to eat there. I highly recommend this Bagel Pub!! read more

Welcome to the neighborhood, Bagel Pub! I've been here twice and both times was very happy with my order. Their cream cheese selection is fantastic, the banana latte was really good, and this is the first place that I've ever seen with an 'everything egg' bagel. Usually I judge a bagel place by their everything bagel, and this was one of the best I've had in the neighborhood. Nicely stanky (in a good way!) and salty. Bagel Pub has one of the best bagels in Brooklyn. This is one of the bagel places that is certainly worth the hype, and I have found that the heavy traffic means that your bagels are always fresh, no matter what time of the morning you place your order. The pumpernickel everything is a Bagel Pub exclusive, and is one of the most interesting bagels I've ever had -- it is well coated with the everything bagel seasoning, but has the rich nuttiness of the rye flour, which is a perfect pairing for an egg sandwich or the perfect vehicle for just about any savory cream cheese. They also offer a whole wheat everything and a whole wheat sesame, both of which can be hard to find. Their bagel selection truly sets them apart. The ordering process during COVID has been very impressive -- you can place an order online, and can avoid the long lines/the crowded inside. The online pickups are on a table right behind the counter, so you can see if your order is ready just by peering through the window. I have found that their estimated pick-up times are very accurate, even during the busiest mornings, which is very impressive. I have yet to find a bagel experience that is as thoroughly pleasant as the one offered by Bagel Pub -- this location is more than a mile from me, and I still go out of my way to order here rather than places that are much closer/have shorter wait times. read more

I normally go to Bagel pub on 7th Ave and would get a dozen bagels. For the past couple of times I've been getting bagels that seem to be formed from scraps. Today was no exception, three plain bagels looked like end pieces and were flat and hard. I don't know why there is such an inconsistency the bagels. If they are scraps, why try and make a bagel and sell it to the customer? It's very unfortunate because I like their bagels. read more

This pub produces very good bagels! The aroma of the bagels can be smelled from blocks away, that's how good the bagels are. They make bagels in-house. They open early because we understand the pain and suffering of the bagel lovers who need bagels early AM haha, like us! However, the first time we came here around midday after our workout at Prospect Park. We had a few things to go. I don't usually eat bagels for lunch but I broke this rule just for one day. There are two doors. To order, please use the side door. The front door is mainly to exit the pub. There are a few tables outside in case you want to eat here. We decided to sit in for breakfast the second time around. This time I had a pastrami lox on a plain bagel with coffee. I recommend both! I would ask for less cream cheese. Other items that we have tried are whitefish and tuna salad and everything bagels. I found both whitefish and tuna salad have a lot of mayo in them. I liked the taste but too much mayonnaise. While the wait at the Bagel Pub might be long, their egg sandwiches are definitely worth it! Theirs is a classic done right: perfectly cooked eggs on a fresh, toasted bagel. You can customize it with your choice of cheese, veggies, and meats, but it's delicious even plain. read more

I was trying to ask the lady at the register if they still sold the slush coffee that I bought a while ago. The lady rolled her eyes and with an attitude said "NO" . We went on a 2pm Sunday afternoon. The servers behind the counter said they had no vegan cream cheeses even though we saw them on display, and we had to ask multiple times before someone finally confirmed there was vegan cream cheese. The line didn't seem very long but after placing our bagel order (pumpernickel w/ tofu cream cheese, lettuce onion and tomato), it took about 30-40 min for us to get our food, which seemed too slow for a bagel store. In addition to slow and poor service, the restrooms are poorly maintained and a very unpleasant experience. Hand soap was contained in a condiment bottle. The food itself was pretty good, coffee (oat latte) was decent but would not come again due to the slow and poor service and poorly maintained facility. read more

These guys turn it OUT in the middle of a pandemic! Friendly, fast, and plenty of signage put up that they take no bull. No mask no service, social distance spots on the floor, etc. bagels are some of the best in the hood. I love their tofu cream cheese, a totally foolproof dup for the real thing. They LOAD it on, but that's easy to fix if you prefer a little less. The black iced coffee happened to taste very weird today, but that's the least of my worries, and nothing a little sugar and a spot of milk can't fix. They generally make a large tasty bagel with inconsistent shapes. The problem is tax is charged when the purchase is just an order of bagels. This is not prepared food like a sandwich. It should not be taxed. When yobject you are then told that you are being charged for the use of a debit card. The required signage for this isn't posted indicating that you receive a discount by paying with cash. read more

If it were possible to give zero stars I would. This was the worst experience ever. I can with my husband, toddler and one month old for a quick lunch. We waited over 30 min for two sandwiches and a side. After asking multiple times and finally demanding a refund while my toddler broke down and infant woke up they finally gave us our food which we had to take the few blocks home since it was now nap time. Both my bagel and my husband's sandwich were incorrect (added or missing things) and my son's side of chicken salad missing! My bagel was soggy. Pretty good neighborhood bagel spot. I'm no NY bagel expert since I just moved here but these bagels are big, soft on the inside with a crunchy chew on the outside, just how I like them! I would recommend visiting on a weekday, as I think the weekend rush might cause some slip ups or rushed preparation? The last one I got (on a Saturday morning!) was a little undercooked, but that hasn't happened before, and everyone has an off day, so I'm not that mad about it. They are also GENEROUS with the cream cheese. I'm a "I'll have a bagel with that cream cheese" type, and on my last order I actually had to scrape some off. I'm not complaining though because there are few things I hate more than a bagel place that's stingy with the cream cheese. I ordered online for pick up and my order was ready to go once I got there; they made it super convenient by placing done orders next to the counter on a little table by the exit door. The bagel itself is pretty good. There is a nice texture, not too thin and not too big. The flavor is also very good. The only downsize to the bagel is the spread. I had ordered the sundried tomato spread, which is good, but I felt that it was too buttery. I could not fully enjoy my bagel as much as I wanted. I felt the butter in the spread overpowered the taste of the bagel as a whole. I will give this place another shot to try other spreads and the other items on their menu. read more
