I have been going to Bagel Sphere for YEARS and I love their bagels SO MUCH! It's really hard to find a Perfect-when-you-toast-it bagel that is also a Perfectly-chewy-and-excellent-without-toasting bagel! Their coffee is super-tasty and the baristas make the specialty drinks to perfection! All their shops are clean and OMG! Have you seen the new location on West 11th? It is immaculate, super-cool industrial architecture, with (not-surprising) great service! Bagel Sphere is a killer bagel shop with an urban flair, but also with great service and prices. The food is good, but their customer service is seriously lacking. Yesterday, I went in, I wanted a bagel with cream cheese, toasted. That's it. I called, ordered it, and stressed to the staff member who answered the phone that I was in a hurry, and that's why I was calling to order it. I arrived at Bagel Sphere to find out that my order had been forgotten because they phone operator didn't take my name. So instead of being a quick in and out (like Bagel Sphere should be, it's bagels for heaven's sake) I waited for 10 minutes before my singular bagel was ready. I noticed while I was waiting that the staff hadn't gotten a single person in the establishments order right. Unacceptable and very disappointing. read more

Great bagel stop in downtown Eugene! They have a HUGE selection of bagels to choose from. I stopped by for lunch and loved my bagel sandwich. Service was a little slow despite there being only one or two of us ordering bagels, but other than that it was a great lunch decision. read more

YUM! Good bagels are here! Ok...breakfast bagels here are great. Try the flavors that you never would think of trying...those will be the best. I am always surprised at how much I like the one try better than the one I had last time I was in there. Also, they've got some great breakfast sandwiches, perfect for lunch. I am excited and, so far, impressed by this cute little downtown bagel shop. Fairly empty on a Tuesday morning just before 9am. Only one couple was in line ahead. In the old bagel rating system, I would buy two bagels - one with cream cheese (preferably untoasted if the bagel is fresh) and one plain. And I love pumpernikel so I always try one of those. But I soon figured out that if I purchase two bagels, I will surely eat two bagels right then and there. So I got a toasted pumpernickel with plain cc. It was quite good - nice consistency, crunchy outside. For the test to be fair, I still need to try another plain bagel, but combine the yummy bagel with really good coffee (that's rare for me to say) and nice folks, and this place certainly deservs a 4 star rating! I occasionally come here when I'm craving a bagel. They are the best in Eugene. My issue right now is that they just went through a redesign or something and no one knows what's going on. Staff seem super in the dark. I can't get the sandwich I used to get. Things are too variable depending on who is making it. I sympathize with the staff. Management should take the time to train them on off hours or something because if they're trying to learn it on shift (which they clearly are because I'm listening to them do it) the customers just suffer. I've always thought that there should be more restaurants dedicated to bagels. Recently moved to Eugene and discovered this place! My sister and I were really excited tot ur it out and it did not disappoint. Got a bagel breakfast sandwich and loved it. I'll have to visit more often as they offer such a large variety of bagels, spreads, and serving options. They were very busy on a Friday morning, though I avoided the rush, I witnessed employees giving out a voucher for the next visit to a man whose order had been delayed and thought that surely counts for something :) read more

Good bagels, but I go for the delicious bagel sandwiches. Tons of variety, but I can't seem to get enough of the entirely too salty combination of the salt caraway bagel with corned beef and peperoncinis. The service is always very helpful, and the coffee isn't bad. My only complaint is that it is located too close to my apartment, which means it is a constantly looming threat to my waistline. read more

Traditional classics with new takes accompanied by freshly baked local bagels; can't get much better! I'm a regular, and will continue to keep coming back for the "Beef Melt" alone.
