The whole place has gone downhill since original owner had it! The service is terrible AND THEY RAISED THEIR PRICES AND NO LONGER GIVE YOU JUICE! I called the restaurant before coming over and a man answered and said breakfast special runs till 12 noon. Got there 11:15, and they said it was over! If I could give bagel twins ZERO stars I would. Absolutely horrific service, bland food, and the prices are almost criminal. They have raised the prices of there food by almost 100% yet claim to be an old school style deli/restaurant. The staff are some of the rudest people I've ever come across and the owner is worse. This was always my go to place for the most delicious flagels. The staff was so kind and accommodating especially when I asked one particular employee to cut the flagels for me. It wasn't until the owner was there working side by side with his staff. I noticed the way they behaved around him, almost afraid. I then heard the way he spoke to his customers. He was the rudest man I have ever encountered. He was arguing with everyone and had absolutely no patience. Customers appeared disgusted and surprised. This was my favorite place to go for breakfast but I can not support this terrible behavior. There are so many great places around here that are happy to have our business. I came with a large group for breakfast. It is a long distance for me and the rush hour traffic delayed my arrival. After I got there the server had to be flagged down to realize that I was there. The server said he would return shortly to take my order. After everyone else was served we had to flag him down again to take my order. Part of my order was a toasted bagel which I never got. After finishing my meal I once again had to flag down the server to ask him to put my bagel in a to go bag. I got a raw bagel with no cream cheese. I've been coming to Bagel Twins for 20 years. Since I'm 8 years old. The bagels are delicious and they come out fresh and hot! The salami and eggs is unreal, it's just cooked perfectly. The corned beef hash has real corned beef in it and shredded perfectly! The home fries are the most flavorful I've ever tasted. The matza brei is loaded with soft cooked matza with the perfect amount of eggs. The staff will get to know you and remember your order! I would give no star if I could.. My co workers & I ordered from this place today. The chicken breast sandwich I ordered included the most flavorless piece of chicken I've ever tasted. They literally threw a piece of chicken breast on the grill without adding any seasoning. Who does that?? It was so bland and overcooked. Not to mention the bread it came on was molding!! I didn't even have two bites. $12 in the trash.. My co workers were also not satisfied with their orders. Everytime I visit my grandparents in Florida, we end up going here for lunch just about every day so I can get my fill of Jewish food. The bagels are super fresh, all the different salads are delicious, and the matzoh ball soup is killer. Service is hit or miss, though, and sometimes you have to wait awhile to get a table. So, my office ordered breakfast here this morning and we were a bit weary because of some of the negative reviews, but this is the only breakfast place open for delivery on a Sunday. Let me start by saying the Challah French toast was awesome! In complete juxtapose, the bacon was definitely microwaved. For $3.45 for 4 strips of bacon I really would have hoped that they at least cooked them on the grill. The coffee was OK, not as full flavored as I liked but this was expected. The delivery driver was rude and, although he had a pocket full of dozens of singles, refused to give us some small bills to disperse change around the office. I spent $14 including my $2 tip on 2 pieces of french toast, a coffee and 4 strips of bacon. I feel like their whole purpose to exist is to profit off of owning a business, not because they love making good food. What a rip off! I feel like I just got scammed. Never again. The hot coffee is also among the best in town . I have never eaten a meal here before, I have other spots for that . Generous portions, fair prices, and conveniently located in a medical plaza if you have an appointment nearby, but it's worth seeking out if you're looking for a cure to their deli Jones. The bagels are better than Manhattan Bagel and not quite as good as the RollsRoyce (price and quality) of bagels, Way Beyond. The food, however, as deli basic goes, runs circles around most of the delis in the area and definitely worth a visit. Service is erratic which is why they earn 4 not 5. read more

My girlfriend and I wanted to try Bagel Twins, as we are looking for a bagel spot close to our house. It looks as though that spot will not be Bagel Twins, however. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a sesame bagel and my girlfriend ordered a sunflower seed flagel with walnut raisin cream cheese. She had a coffee and I had a shot of orange juice. Please keep that in mind. Now, here's where the real fun begins. We realized that they had a counter where we can sit after we had ordered. We told the manager that we would like to sit at the counter and have the food here and he looked at both of us as if we were making funny jokes about him to his face in Mandarin Chinese. When we sat, every waitress and every person who worked there looked at us as if we were on candid camera or something. As we waited for the food, I noticed very weird photos of a seven-year-old boy in a bathing suit on the wall - there were about nine of these photos and it look like the owner had died in a car accident when he was 9. Aside from that, the food came. It was okay, but my girlfriends bagel was definitely from Wednesday or Thursday as it was pretty stale. By the way, we dined this lovely Sunday morning. Now to the bill. Again, we had the bacon egg and cheese, a stale sunflower seed flagel with walnut raisin cream cheese, coffee and a shot of orange juice and we are not frugal to say the least - and when the bill came, the total read $2.00 and tax was $3.00. Food is decent..... I love the bagels. My review is not a reflection of that. My review is solely based on the recent changes they have made to their prices. I have no issue whatsoever with a local business slightly raising prices to stay current/inflation, etc. However, my husband and I eat here 1-2 times a week. We always order the SAME thing. I understand bagel twins has an "old school" procedure for checkout - the waiters all hand write the bill and you are checked out at the register up front... therefore our tab is never the same exact price (perhaps the waiters have a different way of totaling the items?) - but the total always only varied a dollar or two and we just carried on. Today upon check out the total was DOUBLE the normal cost. Typically, our breakfast is between $14-15. Today it was $28. I asked the clerk why and she said that the prices went up... but that still wouldn't explain a DOUBLE in price, would it? No...because she said on average items went up 80 cents. Not sure where the disconnect was.... I even showed her the items we ordered on the menu & that the price listed was half what we were each charged... I was told that the "waiter has been working here a long time and knows how to ring up the prices". I'm not going to cause a scene so we paid it and will move on. Adjusting the price to it's correct amount would have saved our business, so in the long run it's their loss. Wish I had the itemized receipt to show the prices I was charged, but that's not how this place works. Bye bye bagel twins! read more

Bagels were good and served warm. The wait for our main food was about 15 mins after bagels being brought. The nova on nova platter was such a small portion that it was see through. No home fries... Just kind of annoying to place an order and repeat every part of it. They forgot to put cheese on my bagel sandwich. The egg bagel it was served on wasn't too good. I did receive a decent portion though and the price wasn't so bad for coming with home fries. Although I really didn't want the home fries so it adds to the price whether you want it or not. my wife and I have been going to bagel twins since 2006 when we were snow birds. Every year since this was our first stop in the morning. We used to stand outside because the line was so long. In the last few years the lines have been going down, but we never paid attention to it because we are creatures of habit.since we moved down here last year we have begun to seek out other places because we started to notice the food and service started to fall. Well now we are through with this place. The service is very poor now. Trying to get a top off on the coffee is useless. the bagels are fair to good,the lines are gone and the rest of the food is so so.
