Cream cheeses for days and cheeses and cold cuts
    Jerry D.

One of the best bagels I ever had. Line was out the door, that's when you know that something good is happening. Staff was very friendly. I got a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese and my goodness l; it was live at first bite. The bagel was chewy, crispy and their cream cheese was one of the best ever. It was so good, that I went back for a second one. Finally before they closed went back to grab a few for Sunday breakfast. And would you know it, bagel was still good the next day. No wonder people flock to the place, cause it rocks!!!!

You can never have too many bagel stores. Ive been going to other spots in Livingston for decades. One trip to bagels 4 u and I was sold. Best bagels everrrrrr my order is usually an everything flagel toasted with veggie cream cheese and lox.

    THEC on everything jalapeño

Best place around the Maplewood area. The workers are efficient and the food is great. Coffee is good too, they use frozen coffee for their ice cubes in iced coffee so it doesn't get watered down. I've had their bagel with lox (nova bagel?) with jalapeño cream cheese and it was delicious. All their bagels have seasoning on both sides which makes a huge difference in the eating experience. I left a picture of their Taylor ham egg and cheese on a jalapeño everything bagel. Tasty af.

    Bag of rainbow bagels, $2.00!

I stopped in this bagel shop for the first time to grab a cinnamon bagel on my way to work. I noticed right away they have rainbow bagels, a long sought after treat by my toddlers. I was going to buy two rainbow bagels ($1.20 each) but then I noticed that a bag of six frozen bagels it's only $2! The bagels are gigantic. My cinnamon bagel was toasted with butter and it was good. My only complaint was I could pick up on the flavor of a garlic or perhaps an everything bagel that was toasted prior to toasting my cinnamon bagel. UPDATE: I have come back to this bagel store 5+ times looking for rainbow bagels for my daughters. I don't think they sell them anymore. They removed the sign for rainbow bagels and they are never available in the freezer section. Too bad.

The bagels were hard and there was too much cream cheese to the point where you could use the extra cream cheese for another whole bagel.

Anyway, since then I've been back 3 more times; once for breakfast and twice for brunch. And while I'm confessing, the two times for lunch were on subsequent days. Yeah, they're that good. This is a unique 5 star restaurant that is worthy of a visit by Guy Fieri if he is still doing road trips for "Diners , Drive Ins and Dives". All I can say is you have to try them. It's worth the drive! They put a different spin on everything they serve. When you walk in, you may think it's a local deli that you go for a take out breakfast or lunch. Then you see the tables and all the customers sitting there. They have everything you could want from coffee, teas, juices, smoothies, sandwiches paninis, poke bowls, pancakes, waffles, breakfast and lunch dishes. You can tell that they have a ton of regular customers, that are very loyal. They also do catering, and even though I live in Brooklyn, they are willing to deliver to me. Today I met some amazing people at the restaurant. Congratulations to Carlos who is a new manager. He is a US Army Veteran who saw combat action and I hope everyone will thank him for his service when they visit. Carlos really cares about his customers. When we entered we were greeted, he started up a conversation and checked in on us throughout our meal. Victor was our server and he made great recommendations. He was also very friendly, we also met Melvin who was a runner and made sure the food came out promptly with all the accoutrements. Today we started with the blueberry pancakes. You get two large pancakes that are as big as the dish. They had blueberries inside and outside, whipped cream and maple syrup. Probably the best I've ever had! I had the apple, lemon, ginger juice which hit the spot. We also had the tuna poke bowl and the shrimp fajita bowl. The ingredients and fish were fresh and plentiful. I was stuffed by the time we left. I would highly recommend Seymour's Cafe if you want to experience phenomenal food and customer service.
