Horrible experience. We drove about 20 min across Austin to get to a Bahama Bucks because they are known for cleanliness and friendliness along with delicious shaved ice. However, we had quite the opposite experience. First of all, they were so slow to enter the order into the computer (maybe the girl was new) and then slow to get our order out. We waited nearly 30 min. But the biggest fault, and this cannot be overlooked, is that the bathroom was horrendous. Overflowing and nasty urinal (there was a coed bathroom only), disgusting floors and walls, no toilet paper, no soap, no paper towels and no hand sanitizer. When I asked for these items, I was told they were not responsible for providing them. When I questioned this'd they said they shared it with 7/11 gas station and they had certain days to provide it. so I said that means you have toilet paper and soap so please give me some. And they refused out of spite or revenge towards 7/11. The manager told me that the soap dispenser was broken by a 7/11 customer a while back and they refused to fix it because it wasn't their responsibility. So I asked where the employees went to the bathroom and the manager TOLD me that they used the same bathroom but had no way to wash hands. She also at some point tries to change her story to say they had no bathroom in spite of having a dine in option and tables. These are all kinds of code violations not to mention just poor management and customer service. I would never recommend this location. Disgusting and breaking codes left and right. I hope they get shut down. Oh! And I asked for a refund and was denied. Unacceptable. read more

Everything just tastes like overly sweet sweet syrup. Like the same flavor for everything. My chocolate item tasted the same as my daughters bubble gum flavored item. Some people will love that. For me, yuck. read more

Was craving a sno cone so drove out here and got 2 large shaved ice. Half way into the sno cone on the drive realized the juice was gone and the whole bottom half was plain fluffy ice. Not happy as we paid $9 for these when only half was edible. read more

This is my first time trying this place and I gotta say man it's really really good , the blue coconut was super flavorful , full of blue and the cream was all inside and outside , I got a baby size and it was just enough for me , I'd say it's a bit pricy but it's super good definitely worth it , and the ice is so amazing and soft! I left my snow cone their for a bit as I was playing uno and it was still there frozen I was amazed! I managed to finish it all before melting and I took my time eating that , and not to mention tigers blood is really good ! Not to mention the staff was nice , and they clean the outside of the snow cones so no one gets messy , And oh yeah if you sit inside there's board games to play and uno cards !! This place is pretty good for the market that it is in, but when I was there I was hoping they had more healthy options. It seems like everything on their menu contains too much sugar for someone trying to keep a low sugar diet. The things that they make a very presentable though. My go to when the local places aren't open! They have pretty late hours which is nice! Prices are higher than you would normally pay for shave ice/ sno cone but I usually order a tiny or whatever the smallest size they have and I usually have a heaping amount of ice on top so it's worth it , staff is always friendly and place is kept clean at all times, overall I would recommend to anybody looking for a quick sweet treat! My order came out fast. The store is very clean. The issue was with the sno-cone itself. I ordered a medium Strawberry Cheesecake with cream. I didn't get a lot of syrup or cream. Started digging in and was finding ice with no syrup. Overall it had flavor, but wasn't flavor-FULL. Price point was what I usually spend on sno-cones or Hawaiian ice so I was fine with the cost. This place is new and pretty close to my home. So it's shaved ice which is much smoother than slushee or icee stuff that I was expecting. There are several indoor tables but it is kind of a busy place, I wish there was outdoor seating. They have A MILLION and one flavors and it is kind of hard to choose between them! I got a blue coconut but I didn't ask for ice cream in it and I was told I was missing out. They give cute little umbrellas to you in your drink. I have loved those since I was little. My only complaint is that they seemed a little disorganized in the back of house, as to which drink was next and who had ordered it. I was super excited to go to Bahama Bucks and I was hoping to LOVE IT! Well... It wasn't exactly as flavorful as Casey's snoballs. The staff was friendly but they gave me a regular cone shaped cup when I asked for a flat top. The Strawberry cheesecake flavor was salty in certain parts of the cup and no napkins were given out - I was in the drive thru. I know that you guys are new so I certain these quirks will be worked out. Long drive thru line - took 15 minutes from pulling up to driving away - but it is not their fault that they are popular!!! This really is not a bad review. This is just a personal opinion and I wanted to share in case others feel the same way about their raspas/snow cones. I personally don't care for the texture of the ice. It kind of all just gets compacted into a lump when you eat it. I guess I just prefer more of a crunch to mine. I LOVE this place! However, in good conscience, I can't give them 5/5 stars because of the service. For some reason, even if you're the only other customer there, it takes a MINIMUM of 10 minutes to get your order. I'm kot ordering anything fancy or special... A medium biue raspberry... But literally every time you will have to wait. I just can't imagine that shaving a tiny bit of ice and throwing a tiny bit of juice on top can take that long. Then to boot, after they have finished making my shaved ice, they set it on the counter while they take the next five people's worth of orders. I am actually sitting here watching my shaved ice melt right in front of me while they take other customers orders. I've already paid, all they have to do is hand it to me. Wow! One word to describe today's experience! Today we had a pool party for my nephews 4th bday and what better way to celebrate in this Texas heat than Sno Cones! I saw online that Bahama Bucks sold a package for 25 snow cones with all the fixings. From the phone call order to the in store pick up everyone was so nice!
