We love Bahama Bucks. I always order the Banana Bahama Rama Mama, it comes with a scoop of ice cream at the bottom and has liquid whipped cream on top- pretty much amazing and unfortunately so very close to my gym. (I justify my sno cone by saying I just worked out). I would love to give it 5 stars, but as what most folks are saying as well- the prices are a bit ridiculous for some ice and flavoring. It's like the Starbucks price compared to your 7-11 coffee with other sno cone stores. Fun environment and a great staff, I have had no issues with wait times yet. read more

I am giving this location only four stars, because I think the New Braunfels location is better. They pour more syrup in the cup at the New Braunfels store. I had to take mine back and ask for more syrup because the middle of the cup was just ice. The sugar free syrups aren't very tasty, so you need to accept the calories and stick with the sugar syrups. The customer service at this Bahama Buck's really sucks. No one in line and my son and i stood waiting for 3 minuets before anyone said anything to us. The young man making the shaved ice ask the young lady to take our order, she looked at ask my son and I and said OH!!!! As if she didn't see us standing at the front counter. Place is great, some of the best shaved ice I've had in America. Line is usually very long but that just goes to show how good the place is!

There is always a line inside this place as well as waiting on Pat Booker to get in. It's probably mainly due to the slow service more than the demand for their products. I'm guessing part of it is the novelty of a new place. The snow cones are ok, nothing to write home about. It will definitely cool you off on a hot day. On the day I went, they must have had 15 people behind the counter with half of them just standing around and talking. Someone needs to do a better job of time management. Oh, and a little hint regarding customer service. If you have customers standing in line for their orders, don't let your employees, who are clearly on their day off (not in uniform), go to the register, place their order and have their buddies immediately make their snow cone and walk out before even starting on the orders for people who have been waiting around. It get noticed !! It's fine to take care of your employees, but you might want to have an extra machine in the back for them so that you don't piss off the customers in the front. read more

I saw on facebook that this place offers free snow cones every year on December 1 and decided I'd try one since it was free. My kids got a cotton candy and a birthday cake and I got a root beer float flavor. I wasn't that impressed. It tasted like any old snow cone you would get at the state fair or at a school carnival. It was ok! I think its cool they give out free ones once a year but other than that I don't think they are anything special. Maybe I'll try the smoothies they have if I ever go back there. read more

We had never been here before, but I was craving a "mangonada or chamoyada" and I was near by, so I called to ask if they had that, and they said yes, they did, so I drove there. When I got there, they said they had ran out of chamoy for their mangoneada (that's what they call it). :( read more

Wow! Insanely good!!! My kids and I went to this location on Pat Booker after running a ton of errands in the heat. We had never been to a Bahama Bucks, but were told to try it out by a few of our friends. I ordered two small Bahama Rama Mama's (one strawberry, one blue raspberry) for my kids and one regular sized Mahalo Mocha for myself. I didn't realize how HUGE their smalls were! Definitely getting their 'baby' size next time for my kids. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price and location. Seems pretty expensive for just ice, flavoring, with a small amount of vanilla ice cream. Also, the layout of the entrance/exit and parking lot is hard to manage in. Fortunately we came at 3pm when they weren't too busy. I can understand how frustrating it can be if you come here during the busier times ! Great nonetheless! If you are looking for an easy going activity with family or friends this is the place. The other plus is this little place has a fun environment to enjoy your shaved ice or smoothie in. I really love Bahama bucks but my experience tonight was awful! Nothing worse then when your craving something and it taste gross. The people serving were friendly but not professional at playing with tongue ring while manager watched. My ice was hard like a solid piece of ice I mentioned it to the lady and she just threw it into another cup because I did not want to wait. Usually my experience is excellent here but this evening it was awful and I won't be returning anytime soon! read more

This place serves refreshing sno cone combos. Prepare for a long wait and teenage servers who may or may not be timely. The watermelon with cream was very good. I would love to try them if I go back without an hour long line! read more

Good treat. My favorite is wedding cake. Parking is rough and customer service is lacking. Didn't get suggestions or help. Couldn't hear because of yelling and goofing around by staff. Young kids working so lots of cussing and inappropriate topics. Tables dirty. Not a place to take the kids or try to have a convo. Get this one to go next time. read more

I love this place! It's delicious and they have such a large variety of flavors including horchata, mango, cherry, watermelon, bubble gum and even pickle juice. They have different things for you to choose from. They have smoothies, iced coffees and of course their famous snow cones. Everything I have tried has been delicious. I definitely recommend trying this place out... At least once. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Oh and just a heads up, be patient because there is usually a long wait. It's not ridiculous but it's about 10-15 minute wait so don't stop by if you have somewhere else to be. Also, be prepared to deal with some of the snobby teens that work there. Most are usually pretty good but there are two young girls who seem annoyed to be taking your order and when you ask for recommendations or ask for them to give you a sec they do the whole eye rolling thing after saying "sure take your time" don't let these two keep you from trying this delicious goodness though... read more

I use to love this place! I live 20 minutes away. Over the last 6 months the service has greatly deteriorated! I went today and I was the 3rd person in line. There was one couple after me and no cars in the drive through. I arrived at 715pm. By the time I reached the front it was 725. I did not mind waiting in line. The issue arose after I ordered 2 smalls and 1 regular. I did not get my drinks until 805 pm! I asked half way what taking so long and they said they were being made. The couple behind me received their two drinks before me and they had ordered larger drinks. The staff behind the counter was socializing and very unprofessional. They did not seem to care when I asked about my drinks and why I had not received them. NEEDLESS to say today was the last time that I will return. read more

From my experiences at this restaurant I think it is very well done the staff is kind unless you be a total b1tch there a couple of board games to enjoy also a patio outside and a drive through and they have a lot more than just snow cones.To conclude I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants some cold during the summer! read more
