The service here is terrible. They have a bunch of teenagers running it and they constantly are getting my order wrong or forgetting to give me the rest of my order. This is my go to place on a hot sunny day. The service is a little slow but they make up for it with the delicious snowballs. The ice is super soft just like the snowballs, I used to get in New Orleans, La. My favorite is the wedding cake with ice cream in the middle. My only complaint is that they can be stingy with the syrup. I also love the Jamaican breeze and sour patch kid snowball. The cool color changing spoon and punch card for a free snowball after so many purchases. I am a huge fan of this place. I'll probably be there everyday of the summer. Super busy!!!! I didn't want to even try to go through the drive thru. The line was out the parking lot. Finally a place that has extra sour syrup. I stopped by here on the way home and bought my kids a baby shave ice. Sour cherry & sour watermelon. Both great choices. Yet. My children didn't finish a baby size. I tried the mocha something it was ok. It tasted like water down iced coffee. Far from a frap at some places. Not a choice I would make next time. Our second visit we ordered 2 shave ice. First timer. Maybe I just came at the perfect time, but there was no wait at all! Got my drink in around 2 minutes (birthday cake!) and, as a first timer I was actually hoping for a colorful drink. Instead I got something pretty plain. First bite was mind blowing lyn similar to the birthday cake ice cream flavor - I just needed sprinkles to make it perfect! Knocked one star off because service could've been better, and by that I mean I wish the employees had smiled a little more. Oh wow- phenomenal place to come get away from the heat. You walk in and it smells like delicious coconuts. We got the shaved ice for our first visit there. The two staff members were very patient and informative. It's suggested to only have three flavors secondary to too much overpowering with more. There is literally a list of 40-50 flavors from typical berry to pickles! A must have is the up charge for "cream" for .50. It reminds us of being in Hawaii and how wonderful cold and creamy shaved ice tastes there. Let's support this place! It'll be great for the pool or lake. read more

We used to come here often and after not coming for a while we decided to stop by after some great Pho across the street. For the 99% of the population who doesn't get that reference, this place is awesome. I'm a little particular about my shaved ice, and I really only enjoy a very fine-grain ice. Too chunky, and I hate it. But Bucks gets it right. Soft and fluffy, and absolutely overflowing with syrup = Bucks. Great flavor variety with the add-ons like your cream options, and you'll likely never run out of ways to put one of these together. If you go through the drive thru, you run the risk of pissing someone off in the parking lot. I thought for sure they'd fix this when it was closed for remodeling. I didn't go inside, I just came thought their drive through. They have a very extensive menu - even hot chocolate and white hot chocolate for those chilly Texas winter evenings! As I'm visually scanning over this menu I'm thinking why the heck didn't I come here before? I love me a good drink! So many to choose from, but today I was in the mood for a fruit smoothie. I asked for their most popular fruit smoothie and they said #1, which is a Bahama Colada. They sizes are quite large so I opted for a small. Lemme tell you - this was one tasty drink! You have the base, then you pick fruit that goes in it. I asked the guy "how many do I choose? Just one or is it two?" He said "as many as you want" so I'm assuming they charge extra for additional fruits past a certain number, but I didn't scan my receipt. So I asked for banana, strawberry and pineapple. Heaven!
