The picked onions had a good spice to them. When I bit into the burritos they had good flavor and everything in it was cooked well on there own. I really like their marketing copy of "Fresh food is worth the wait" in their drive-thru because it really is. Their fish tacos are the best in the area. Their carne asada fries is amazing. I'm not huge on cheese unless it's fresh so I always get no cheese, but I would never skip their cheese on the fries. Their regular fries have a seasoning blend that is so damn good too. Can't wait to try their mojarra next. Seems like I couldn't get it in the car because maybe it takes them extra long since everything is cooked fresh to order. Normally I like this place but today was just a mess. They gave away my food and when I asked about it, they told me they'll call my order when it's ready. Waited 25 mins before they asked for my receipt and realized it's not there anymore. Waited a little longer and they pretty much just rushed my order throwing stuff together as fast as they could. A third of the fish tacos looked sad. Didn't put in the onions and pepper. No apology or acknowledgement of the situation. Normally the fish tacos are good at $2 each on Tuesday. Today wasnt one of those days, besides the mentioned issues. The portions looked smaller. Not sure if it was smaller because of the rush job or if that's the new size. I love, love, love the taquitos de papa. I've had them four times at this point and they NEVER disappoint. My guy orders the two-taco plate with grilled fish and loves it. My teen son (who is picky af) ordered the birria burrito during our previous visit. The fact that he practically unhinged his jaw to swallow it whole signaled to me he liked it. Well now their Taco Tuesday fish tacos are $2 dollars plus tax! Not really impressed with the food too much but still a bit impressed they are consistent with their quality and service. on the north side of main st. This restaurant have two entrances. One in the front on Main Street and one at the back where the dollar tree parking lot is on North Stoneman Ave. It's small and tables are sometimes clean. But the workers are so nice here! I couldn't get the names of these two gentleman that didn't speak much English but they gave me so much free salsa when I asked for extra. It was a Monday or Tuesday I believe. Restrooms are down the hall. The food is not bad! I can have it or survive without it but it doesn't disappoint! Just don't get their carnitas. Go to a taco truck for those. Surf N Turf burrito is the way to go. Tacos are great as well. Service has always been friendly and the establishment is clean. Has outdoor seating and they sell beer and even coffee. The fries are always perfectly crunchy and light when ordered for dine in. I'll update this review once I try the soups because they have a variety of seafood soups and even pozole and menudo every day. With Baja being so close to the theater nearby I think it'll be a good idea to take a burrito to go if they let you bring food into the movies! There are many food options nearby so I think this place is a little tucked away and underrated so it's worth a shot if you can't make up your mind about what to eat before or after a movie, you won't regret it. This review is for online ordering and take out. I was HANGRY and didn't want to brace the cold to pick up food. Luckily my sister was on her way home and was willing to swing by to pick up tacos for dinner! I placed the order online and promptly got a confirmation text with a link that leads you to check your order status. The tracker shows when the order is confirmed, preparing, ready, and completed. However, I didn't get the ready text. I got the completed text when my sister arrived back at home with the food lol!!! Not a huge issue since she didn't have to wait luckily! Pedro and another cook in the kitchen did a great job with the food. My favorite taco was the Baja Cali taco, loved all the toppings and sauce that came with it.
