Large promotions can bring big crowds, but businesses should be prepared to handle them properly. Unfortunately, during tonight's Bake & Chè promotion, the store appeared overwhelmed, which affected both service and dessert quality. Today, Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the store had a buy-one-get-one-free promotion that is running today and tomorrow. Because of the promotion, many customers showed up. However, the store did not increase their staff even though promotions like this usually bring a large crowd. As a result, the store seemed overwhelmed and service was slow. My wife and I lined up at 5:30 PM and did not receive our dessert until about 7:16 PM. We ordered the house special dessert. The dessert includes coconut milk, jelly, beans, fruit, and ice. According to the menu and pictures, it should include jackfruit. However, in our cup there was only a very small piece of jackfruit. My wife and I were really disappointed because the dessert was on special promotion, but the quality seemed to have gone down. Another concern is the cleanliness and layout of the store. The restroom needs better cleaning and maintenance. In addition, the store only has one trash can located near the entrance. When the store is crowded, it is very difficult to reach because customers would have to walk through or around other people just to throw something away. The store should consider adding more trash containers inside. We have included pictures showing the crowd inside the store, the dessert we received, and the location of the trash can so everyone can clearly see the situation. Based on this visit, we are not recommending this place at this time until the store improves its operations, increases staff during promotions, improves cleanliness, and adds additional trash cans for customers. This was my first time having che and it didn't disappoint! The che Thai had a lot of fun toppings and really hit the spot, without being too sweet. The longan aloe vera dessert was super refreshing and was a nice one to chair with the che thai. Make sure to also grab some cakes to try for later if you're too full! The palm sugar was my favorite. it was my first time trying bake & che as someone who loves che and grew up eating it often, and the items i tried were so good! i got the avocado che, which was super creamy from the avocado and not too sweet when eaten together with all the jellies and milk. i finished it pretty fast because of how good it was hehe. i also tried the flandan cheesecake, which has two layers with cheesecake on the bottom and a pandan flavored flan on top, and it was also pretty good and not too sweet. i would say that when eating the flan alone, the pandan flavor is prominent, but it can get masked by the cheesecake when eaten together. i didnt catch the cashier's name, but she was super sweet and patient when explaining the different items to my mom, and she switched back and forth between viet and english for easy understanding. i also liked how she checked whether or not we wanted to eat the items now or later since that would determine if they'd put ice directly in the che or on the side. the store itself was very clean and had a lot of seating. there were also cups of water available to drink while you wait for your order to come out. the wait itself for the items wasn't long either (~5 mins). the parking lot can get crowded at times, but i didnt have any problems finding parking on a saturday afternoon. read more

Takes you back to childhood in Southeast Asia and then some! I couldn't differentiate between the tapioca and the ming bean, I think the tapioca one was the more chewy denser one, the mung bean was the creamer softer one. The mung bean was my favorite, or whichever was the creamier one. Also the sweetness level is just perfect. I will be back for more as gifts to friends and clients. I ended up getting the pandan coconut jelly because it was one of the few things still available. I really didn't like the texture. It was very dense and had a bite to it, but it wasn't chewy. The taste was fine, but really not a fan of the texture. My friend tells me the texture is normal for a traditional Vietnamese jelly, so it may just be a me-problem. Ive been here a few times and each time I have had pretty good experience. This seems like a very modernized che (vietnamese dessert) shop. Ive tried their soy tofu pudding, aloe vera longan, durian pandan layers, taro, mung bean, cassava cakes and palm sugar. My favorite is the soy pudding but it was a bit too sweet. If it was less sweet, it would be better. The aloe vera longan was refreshing at first but it was overwhelming sweet after that. I like their cassava cakes and taro cakes. Their mung bean cake was less sweet but the texture was a bit too chewy for me. Their durian pandan layer cake was really good and has mild durian taste. It was chewy and soft which is the way i like it. Theres plenty of parking but it does get busy on the weekends. It is also located right next to da vien coffee shop so it can get pretty packed.
