I saw the new sign saying Baked was now owned by Dewey Post. We are too lazy to walk the half mile to the original Post so we were excited to try this place out. We walked inside and it was renovated and looked gorgeous. Great job w the renovation!! The pastries looked great. My bf ordered an egg and cheese on an everything bagel. He said it tasted good. He also ordered a cappuccino which he said was not hot but it tasted the way a cappuccino should taste. I ordered a hot matcha and it was terrible. It was room temp and tasted like a cup of sugared foam. I could not taste any matcha taste at all.

Been wanting to stop in here for awhile. Warm welcome, owner seasoning her own salmon for lox and bagels, bakes all her own goods onsite with real, fresh ingredients. Bought a selection of baked goods and 2 specialty coffee drinks. All delicious. All thumbs up.

We came here for breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning and it was so busy! The space is a little tight, but there's 3-4 tables outside to sit at, otherwise plan on taking your breakfast to the beach! Bagel was hot, a huge piece of egg, and the bacon was chewy and good! Recommend getting some cream cheese on the bagel because it was a little dry. I will say the sandwich was a little overpriced for me.

Delicious homemade pastries! Gigantic cinnamon roll with homemade cream cheese. Nilla cold brew was delicious too! Go early. Line forms quickly!

DONT GO OVERPRICED Bad coffee sandwiches were bad too. We ordered iced vanilla lattes they came out black and watered down- we had to add sugar and milk. The place itself had safety issues, we thought it was cute from the outside but we're seriously let down with the coffee. Save your money! They charged us 10.75 for a breakfast sandwich with microwave eggs. We also ordered the veggie delight sandwich and it looked nothing at all like it does in the photo on the menu. 40 dollars for three coffees and two sandwiches A SCAMMMM.

    Bacon egg and cheese

I never leave reviews but this is by far the worst bacon egg and cheese I've ever had. The egg is horrible, the bagel is either frozen or bought in a bag from the supermarket. Not worth what they are charging.... Just don't do it

Stopped here off of highway 1 on our way home from a beach weekend. The selection of baked goods remind you that your eyes are bigger than your stomach. We had the coffee cake (moist!) and M&M cookie (melt in your mouth), and the coffee was solid. We would not recommend the breakfast sandwich or breakfast burrito, which were bland and lifeless in our opinion. Stick to the sweets.

    "iced mocha latte"

I can't say much about baked goods or desserts, so I won't comment on them, however, if you know anything about coffee, do not order your drinks from here. The product they consistently serve is not what's promised. I have been lucky enough to work in numerous cafes for a few years learning about all the intricacies of the coffee world, so when I came to visit Dewey, obviously, I was on the hunt for a solid coffee shop. I stumbled across Baked and was excited. My sister ordered an iced mocha (which should be comprised of espresso, chocolate, and milk) and I ordered a cold brew (which should be cold coffee steeped overnight). Both drinks tasted exactly the same, burnt and like water. We threw them both away as soon as we got home. The mocha was clearly not made with any espresso (I'm not even sure there was any sort of milk) and was drowned with chocolate syrup and whipped cream. The cold brew tasted like day-old gas station coffee poured over ice. Absolute disgrace. It's honestly a shame and an insult to any proper cafe or coffee lover. If you appreciate good coffee, head elsewhere.

Worst bacon, egg and cheese ever.

Stopping here was a mistake for so many reasons but do NOT get the bacon & egg & cheese -- it is inedible. They do not cook the bacon or the eggs and don't have sliced cheese. The "eggs" look like a brick. Everything is microwaved. Stick to a bagel and cream cheese (which did look good!). Also, don't come if you're in a rush. Waited an hour (they lost my order initially) and my coffee order was also wrong.

Bacon Egg and Cheese on a Plain

If I could give this place a 0/10 I would. First of all, it's dirty and there was actual debris on the $4 small can of La Croix. To make matters worse, they have actual 10 year old children making the food. To top it all off, the bagel is a disgusting joke. Bread is hard as a rock and they thought it was acceptable to put a piece of velveeta looking microwaved egg on a sandwich. Unacceptable prices and presentation. DO NOT waste your money or time on this dump.

Went there on a Saturday and Sunday morning. It was really busy and very hot inside the store as they don't have air-conditioning (there are large fans on the ceiling that circle slowly though). The first morning they messed up my order. I requested a plain bagel but received an everything bagel. I requested mayo on the side but did not receive any at all. They did not half the sub. The second morning I requested halving the sub (as it seems that this is not something that they do) but was told with attitude from the cashier that they always half the sub. Lo and behold upon pick-up, the sub was not halfed again. I'm not a picky eater so none of these negative experiences have impacted me going back there. The food itself was pretty good and the staff overall was quite friendly. Though, if you're trying to decide between this place and another breakfast place, I'd suggest checking out what else Dewey has to offer. You may be able to find a place that is more reliable, serves more quickly, and offers air-conditioning.

He said it was decent. So today we stopped in for a sit down. Got the basket of fried fish, shrimp, fries and chicken. Pretty good. Be careful it was the hottest food I've ever had. I had to stop eating and set a timer! You don't get much sauce with the basket. I didn't ask for more but I guarantee it would've been a charge. Since it was single servings Ken's sauces. I think we would've been better off splitting this. It was a good amount of food. Also got the mango matcha. That was good. Finding most drinks down here are really sweet. Is that because we're going south? Wife got a turkey BLT and she liked it. Her only complaint was how much meat was on it. In my opinion that's not a bad thing. A packed sandwich is what you want. Is there a reason you only get bottled water on Dewey Beach? We were not given the option of glasses and then it's $1 a bottle. I'm fine with it if I know ahead of time. Nice open seating. Perfect when there is a breeze. Plenty of Nu metal playing. So overall it's a good quick fix for the beach.

I got a matcha latte and wasn't asked what kind of milk which I thought was odd. They ran out of cold brew as well and the iced americano was mid. We made it there on our second day and it's clear that this seems to be a favorite to both locals and visitors. Upon arriving, it was pretty difficult to find parking as all of the spots were taken, so we quickly located a spot on the residential street nearby. Walking in, the line was almost to the front door, but I didn't mind as it gave me plenty of time to peruse the menu for coffee and breakfast options. I loved seeing the coffee beans available for purchase as well as some of their merchandise on my way to the counter, in addition to admiring the hand-painted murals and so many cool seating options. The tables have really beautiful woodworking, many of which have raw edges which add a lot of personality. Order up! I opted for an iced latte with an extra shot of espresso (because I definitely needed an energy boost that day) and coconut flavoring, frozen matcha, the breakfast sandwich, and a glazed doughnut. I was really intrigued by the coffee smoothie which was featured and highlighted in multiple spaces. The term "smoothie" threw me off but I discovered from a fellow patron that it's simply a frozen blended coffee and they order it all the time. Loved checking out the outdoor seating options as well as the bar that shares the same local, Mary and Margs (SUCH a great name). Since we came in later in the morning/early afternoon, there were already quite a few people flocking to the barstools, ordering espresso martinis, which looked divine. I have to say that my coffee was delightful, you can tell that the beans were freshly ground and the extra shot of espresso really did the trick for me. The frozen matcha was delicious, 10/10, no notes! Would definitely get that again and would try the coffee smoothie next time. I ate my entire breakfast sandwich because I was starving but was expecting a lot more. The homemade biscuit is what intrigued me the most but I think I've been spoiled with some really amazing housemaid biscuit sandwiches back home so this one really fell short for me; it was kind of hard, a little burnt. All in all, this is a really cute, trendy spot, which seems to attract people of all ages with a very robust menu from morning to evening. Definitely want to come back and check out more items!
