This place is wonderful! They offer so many yummy options: cupcakes, cookies, cheesecake, doughnuts, ice cream, sandwiches, and coffee! It's very clean and modern here! Service was excellent! If you haven't tried it out yet, TRY it! You won't regret it! They also have gluten free cupcakes!

I was really craving some cupcakes and unfortunately this place was a disappointment. When we walked in the worker didn't even speak to us. I walked over to her twice before she came over to help us and we were the only ones in the store. The cupcakes were dry and tasted old. Really sad cause they looked so good online.

Headed in early on a Sunday morning looking for a breakfast roll of some kind. Bakehouse 46 is not a place for that. They specialize in cupcakes, it seems, and cookies, ice cream, and donuts are on offer, along with some small sweets I wasn't familiar with. I got donuts, which are breakfasty enough in my book. Theirs are cider-mill style, available plain or coated in cinnamon sugar. There are also "apple pie" donuts and a couple of other creative varieties, and I might have gone for one but didn't know if the toppings would hold up on the way home. So I got the cinnamon sugared ones and they were good, fresh and just a little crispy. This looks like a great place to stop in for a treat.

This place is super cute but I feel like it's nothing special. I went with a friend on a Thursday night. We wanted something warm to drink and this was the only place that was open at 8 pm. We got hot apple cider, which was really yummy! We got the Strawberry Cheesecake cupcake, which was a special for the month of March only. I was so disappointed because Strawberry Cheesecake anything is my favorite. This cupcake was dry and the frosting was kind of hard..... Granted, I know we went at the end of the day but my friend and I were underwhelmed by this cupcake.

I was visiting Ann Arbor for the weekend and my friend recommended me this place. Decided to gave it a try and IT WAS THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED during my trip! we got to try the 12 mini cupcakes, a cheesecake bar and cold brew w foam! Out of all the cupcake flavors, campfire (smores) was my favorite! The texture of the cupcake js so soft and the Graham cracker topping added more texture to the cupcake! The cold brew was also delicious! They have 2 different types of foam available: honey lavender and vanilla. The consistency of the foam is a lot dense compared to other coffee shop foams, but I thought it paired really well with the coffee. I would recommend the foam to anyone who likes sweeter coffee! The staffs are super friendly and helpful. The inside of the cafe is a bit small, but thankfully it was not crowded when we visited. I would definitely come back the next time I visit Ann Arbor!

Came here after the football game and they had so many yummy things. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back. The cheesecake bars were bomb. I wish I would've gotten a different cupcake because we both got cheesecake flavored stuff but they were both very yummy

Definitely one of my go-to spots if I wanted to have some tea with a friend or visiting family, or just treat myself to something special. I've tried the chocolate-covered cheesecake (it was on a stick, very rich), and the mini-cupcakes (very flavorful; I think it's a bit expensive but it's the perfect amount as someone who doesn't want to overload on sugar). Most importantly though, I love Bakehouse 46's cider donuts (plain, sugared, all of them)! To be honest, I never understood the hype over cider donuts, but these are fluffy and crispy on the outside - if this was the cider donut that every cider mill served, I'd be on the cider donut hype too. Every friend I've taken was impressed by the cider donut here!

Ever since Cupcake Station closed I've been eagerly waiting (and hoping) my cupcake fix could be replaced by this shop. Today I had my chance to test it out, and was so happy to see my Cupcake Station favs in place (and dare I say even better than I remembered?!). Staff is friendly, the decor is really cute, and I love that we now have an eye into the bakery itself. The new menu looks really good and I can't wait to get back and try some real food in addition to my fav cupcakes. All the bakery items looked really good and it was a challenge not to indulge more than I did on the mini cupcakes alone. We went with a half dozen minis, original, chocolate, cookies and cream, and peanut butter. And they were all delicious. The only downside I see here is the high ticket price for them...6 for almost $12. The minis are small (less than half the size of a regular) and I feel like the price should reflect that (ie be less than half the cost). But then again, I'm still paying to eat them at $12, so what can I really say about it?

The bakery that took over the cupcake station! Pros: - lots of variety (they have every baked good you could think of and ice cream!) - friendly employees - nice location Cons: none really! I had the apple pie donut and it was good, but certainly not the best donut I've ever had. They seem to also still carry all of the cupcake stations cupcakes too.

The cupcakes are dry as a desert! Bread with frosting on top. I've had muffins that had more moisture than this. I will never order again!

I was in the neighborhood as I was conducting some business at the University of Michigan. It's pretty much a very small old house converted into an ordering counter and kitchen behind. When you come in, you are expected to have your order ready to spit out without any hesitation or you get cursed and screamed at by the person at the counter. I had read that this was their modus operandi so I wasn't shocked! The burger was cooked on a flat top that was well loved. As I really wasn't sure of the condiments they offered. I just told them to load it up. My Burger came with a nice toasted bun-it had a freshly made burger, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. It was very tasty. Krazy Jim doesn't do any advertising, but there were an abundance of college students waiting in line to order their burger. It feels to me like he is a legend of sorts as is the Blimpie Burger. I'm glad we arrived when we did as there was only a short line. Next time you're in Ann Arbor, Michigan, check it out. You won't regret it.

Tastebuds I never knew I had came alive last night. It's been 24 hours since I got home and I'm still thinking about it. Bartender Felicity and waitress, Anya, were delightful and knowledgeable. I would pay money learn how to replicate a fraction of what we ate. My friend treated me...and I'm forever grateful because I could not afford to have experienced this otherwise. Yelp…read morehas allowed me to chronicle these adventures, serving as a repository for my dining memories. Echelon has now made it to my exclusive list of 5-star restaurants. I readily admit to being a tough reviewer - very few places earn a 5. Allow me to share some of the reasons: Service was stellar. The staffers were professional and friendly. They quickly brought out each course and cleared the table efficiently. They were tireless in answering my many questions about the ingredients. I prefer tasting menus. For me, after the first few bites, my taste buds get fatigued. The six-course tasting menu, with its complex flavors and textures, kept me interested throughout the meal. The dining room was spacious and well-appointed, without being stuffy and overwhelming. I loved the table groupings and comfy seats, whimsical wall coverings, oversized lighting, and wall of windows. I believe the tasting menu changes; I had: - A bite of brick dough (I had to look it up) pastry, served with a tart, faintly bitter rhubarb soda for a palate cleanser. - The Kanpachi crudo arrived with smoky fanfare. It was served with agua fresca and droplets of chili oil, topped with watermelon radish. I loved the fatty, slippery fish paired with the acidic, fresh, and spicy liquid. - My favorite course was the wood-roasted maitake mushroom in a shoyu glaze, topped with shallots, with a red pepper sauce. I wouldn't have minded a main entrée of these savory, meaty mushrooms. - Next up was the sesame seed-encrusted shrimp toast on Japanese milk bread. It was served with lobster bisque and tiny lobster tail skewers. I am very familiar with deep-fried shrimp toast, a dim sum staple, and loved the novelty of black and white sesame seeds. The bisque was rich and flavorful, while the lobster tail was sweet and delicious. It was such a variety of flavors on one plate. - I never had Cappelletti before and enjoyed the pasta stuffed with a manchego-ricotta mix. It was served with more mushrooms (yay!), buttermilk froth, and fried shallots. - The restaurant considered the Wagyu bavette the star of the tasting menu. While I liked the tender beef, peppercorn demi-glace, potato croquettes, and creme fraiche topped with bacon, I still preferred the mushroom course. - The grapefruit granita and compressed grapefruit were another nice palate cleanser. - The dessert was as beautiful as it was creative. Sunchoke ice cream and crispy sunchoke straws enhanced the chocolate hazelnut flavors. I only wish a duck course was available on the day of my visit. It was offered a few weeks earlier.

Great Brunch, good Lunch, but menu could use more variety!…read more Savas is an adorable restaurant with a really welcoming atmosphere; the space is cute, the environment is lovely, and the staff is genuinely amazing every single time. My first visit was for brunch, and it completely won me over. The buffet had a wonderful variety of food, the mimosas and cocktails were delicious, and for the quality, variety, and service you get, the price point is very fair. I left thoroughly impressed. I came back for lunch excited to experience it again, and while the staff was just as warm and the environment just as great, however, this time the lunch menu didn't quite live up to my expectations. They offer salads, sandwiches, mac and cheese and similar American-style comfort food, which is totally fine, but for a restaurant of this caliber I was hoping for something a little more exciting. I ended up ordering a salad with added shrimp, which was absolutely delicious, and a pomegranate rosemary lemonade that was incredibly refreshing - perfect for a summer day-. But if you're not in the mood for sandwiches, salads, or mac and cheese, your options are pretty limited. My suggestion: keep doing everything you're doing because the hospitality and atmosphere are truly special, but consider expanding the lunch and dinner menu for those looking for a heartier or more diverse meal.

This is a super cute spot that specializes in smoked meat and sausages... yes please. We ordered at the counter and the employees were very friendly and helpful with great suggestions. I got the Michigan asparagus, onion, and cheddar brat, and Nate got the currywurst. We also got a cup of chili to share. We got a buzzer for our order and then sat down in the heated outdoor space. They have a lot of outdoor seating and some firepits, so I really want to come back in the fall or summer. Our food was done quickly and we had fun picking stuff from the toppings bar. They had chopped onions, jalapenos, banana peppers, sauerkraut etc. and lots of sauces. I LOVED the brat. It was easy to bite and not super snappy which I didn't mind. The bun was perfectly toasted and the flavor combination was delicious. Kind of like a broccoli cheddar vibe. I had some of the currywurst which was also delicious! The chili was packed with brisket and pulled pork, and was really tasty. There is a bar so you can enjoy a beer with your sausage, but we just grabbed some cold drinks from the cooler. They even have ice cream and floats!! There are lots of great items for sale as well, including lots of pickled things, frozen pierogi, meat sticks and jerky, and they even have Trenary Toast (#iykyk). I am already planning my next visit to try more brats and the brisket sandwich. This is such a great concept and I really wish we had a place like this in Grand Rapids.
