pumpking spice cronut, red velvet cronut, maple bacon cronut, cinnamon sugar cronut, regular glazed donut and maple bar with donut holes
    Dante B.

Dropped by with my brother to try their specialty cronuts and was not disappointed! This small local business offers a great variety of unique cronuts along with friendly, attentive service. The lady at the counter was very patient since it was our first visit and took the time to name and explain all the donuts on display. For cronuts, we ordered the pumpkin spice, red velvet, maple bacon, and cinnamon sugar. We also picked up a maple bar and a glazed donut from their regular donut selection (displayed in the back of the shop). In true donut-shop fashion, our helper even threw in a few donut holes. Everything was fantastic, but the pumpkin spice cronut was our favorite. It was well-spiced and topped with a cream cheese frosting that wasn't overly sweet, making it perfectly balanced. Each cronut was flaky, with the flavors standing out nicely. The maple bar and glazed donut were also very solid choices. Skip the Krispy Kreme next door and support this local business instead--you won't regret it! Parking: Small lot, but there were plenty of spaces available when we visited.

It was my friend's birthday who lives in Elk Grove, and I wanted to surprise her with a delivery of donuts. There weren't many donut places available on Uber Eats or DoorDash at 8 in the morning (which isn't surprising since it's so early), but thankfully, Bakers Donuts was an option! I ordered a mix of specialty and traditional donuts and added a note mentioning that it was for a birthday, asking if they could select their best ones of the day. I was so happy to hear back from my friend, who said every donut was delicious! They even went the extra mile and wrote "Happy Birthday" on the donut box -- such a thoughtful touch. 10/10 for service and presentation! I can't speak to the ambiance since I ordered delivery, but I'm looking forward to visiting in person and trying these donuts fresh from the shop next time!

My favorite donut shop in south sac. Staff is very friendly, service is great. And I like the ambiance of this place because it gives family owned small business ambiance. I love all the chocolate and maple flavored donuts!

I love Baker's Donuts on Florin Road! It's always a fantastic experience coming here. The service is amazing, everyone is so kind, and SuzIE is seriously the sweetest. She makes the best Vietnamese/Thai coffee (not totally sure which one--but it's one of those and it's incredible). The donuts are always fresh, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. Another huge bonus? The drive-thru. On school mornings, I can just zoom through with my toddler in the backseat, slippers still on, and caffeine dreams coming true. This place is a major win for busy moms. Stay caffeinated, wake up happy, and treat yourself by stopping here! Ps: Bakers donuts is like the Krusty Krab!~ Krispy Kreme is the chum bucket in comparison lol

Small, locally owned shop. When I visited, they provided kind and friendly service. I tried some of their specialty donuts years ago, but I hadn't stopped by myself until recently. Good donuts, even late into the evening they still had a decent variety remaining. A few of the donuts, particularly the cereal one, tasted a bit on the older side from sitting in the case all day, so I'd recommend sticking to that one in the morning. The other ones all tasted fresh! It's nice that they have the option of ordering via a drive thru. I need to make it over in the morning so I can experience the full selection of yummy donuts from Bakers Donuts!

No chocolate crullers. So I got a couple chocolate bars. They are fresh and delicious! The icing is decent, nice consistency and pleasant chocolate flavor. The shop is small, has a drive through and a front counter with highly decorated donuts a la VooDoo in Portland. The regular donuts are in a larger glass case behind the staff work area. I can be clueless, so the server's angling her body and drawing her hand back did direct my gaze to the plethora of donuts back there. She was very sweet.

A small mom & pop donut place with tons of options! It smells amazing inside and the staff were so sweet. The woman at the counter gave my little one a couple free donut holes, too. I got an old fashioned donut, my husband got a maple donut with bacon on top, both were so tasty and fresh. I will be coming here everytime I'm in sac.

Very much so a mom and pop shop! The place has a small parking lot that can feel a bit sketchy, but they make up for it with the convenience of a drive-thru. I recommend using cash to avoid the transaction fee, it seems like the business prefers cash payments anyway. I usually stick to the classic glazed donuts or donut holes, and they are absolutely delicious. The regular donuts are reasonably priced, but they also offer specialty donuts that are a bit pricier. These are totally worth trying! I picked some up once for an office party, and everyone raved about them nonstop.

Small donut shop that's been around for years. I came back because I remembered their Kronuts being popular around 2015-2016. I ordered three donuts and was given a handful of complimentary donut holes. Total came out to $22, which felt overpriced for the quality. The Kronut (circled drizzle) was dense but decent. I haven't had Kronuts elsewhere to compare, so for what it was, it delivered a solid experience. The large glazed donut was the highlight--moist, soft, great balance of sweetness and texture, even after reheating the next day. It cost $6 but was the only item that felt worth it. The square donut with brown drizzle (Reese's Pieces flavor) was dry, lacked flavor, and had a basic Reese's filling inside. The complimentary donut holes tasted old and stale, which probably explains why they were free. We also got a bottle of milk with the order. It was super thick and creamy--better suited for coffee than drinking straight. If you plan to get milk here, I'd go with with 2% for a smoother, more drinkable option for myself next time I go here. Service was impressive in a hustle kind of way. Actively pushing donuts and upselling with a lot of energy, which you don't always see at small shops like this. Overall, it's a typical hole-in-the-wall spot in South Sacramento. It might've been worth the hype back in 2016, but today it's just an average donut place with higher-than-expected prices.

I have passed this place plenty of times and finally decided to try it. The women at the counter was so sweet and nice. She was smiling and patient the whole time she was helping me while I try to figure out my order. They had so many unique donuts. LIght and fluffy on the inside with the right amount of sweetness. I definitely recommend the Resse's donut if you love chocolate and peanut butter.

Baker's Donuts is a locally owned donut shop in the heart of South Sac. I grew up in this area and it is usually busy with cars in the parking lot and the drive thru. It has stood when many businesses have come and gone, and 2 corporate donut shops moved in close by (Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts). I came by planning to buy a Baker's Dozen. There was no cars in the parking lot. So, I knew I could grab what I wanted and go (options). The woman at the counter was very cold and had a sour attitude. This was a first I ever encountered this at this shop. I've been coming here since middle school. She didn't greet me, and when I said "Hi, how are you?".... She gave a very rude "fine". Never made eye contact. Turned off by the attitude, I decided to grab 1 donut (a mighty tasty fruity pebbles topped donut), pay, and left. I'm all for supporting a local business. Especially one that has been around as long as Baker's Donuts. I'm very disappointed by the service. I'm really sad to say, I won't be coming back to this shop ever. Thanks for the tasty donut!

All glazed. And I paid for an assortment.

I ordered a batch of mixed. I live in NY, sending my dad donuts back in Sac, he just got out of the hospital & he loves donuts. These people are so unprofessional. I called and asked, make it right and all they did was hang up on me

Donuts are moist flaky layers of delicious-ness. My family demolished these. Love the drive-thru option unless it's your 1st time, it's better to walk-in to see all the selections. They also sell the traditional donuts. Definitely will be back!

I grew up loving apple fritters and since having to go GF, it is my most missed donut-adjacent treat. This one was smaller than a normal one, but that was fine because I could actually enjoy it without it being too big. Perfectly fluffy with apple pieces and spiced just right, it was delicious. The cruellers were nice and crispy on the outside and just sweet enough. Glazed with chocolate or regular icing, they are a perfect donut. I love a crunch or different texture mixed in. She did mention that the Rocky Road tasted a bit off because of the lack of dairy and the texture was a bit unusual. The staff were polite and patient and the place didn't seem that crowded for a Thursday around dinner time. I suppose with Ginger Elizabeth's and Rick's Dessert Diner all on the same strip, there is a lot of competition for dessert places here. We were happy to try something new. Everything was fairly clean and there was plenty of bar seating as well as a few tables. I believe there were also tables outside.

Their senorita bread is probably my favorite item at this bakery-my daughter introduced them to me one day and I've been hooked ever since-they r very enjoyable especially when eaten warm. They also feature a plethora of visually pleasing donuts-that I generally consider pretty good overall, with some much better than others-my favorite tend to be the cereal based donuts they have at this bakery. Their savory selection of bakery items,I generally skip but not due to them being any less yummy but usually only because when I visit here,I almost always go for the sweet stuff primarily-that being said their Jalapeño & Cheese "kolache" is off the hook-it's so good-the ham and cheese and pepperoni and cheese versions rock as well.We can't forget about their empanadas or lumpia-it's really great stuff they are serving at this bakery. This particular trip was unique in that I had been recommended this app called "TooGoodToGo" by fellow Yelp Elite All-Star Malikah H. & on this app I saw they were offering "surprise bags" for $5.99 to be picked up between 630p-7p-so I figured I'd try it out. When I arrived and showed the worker my order, she promptly walked to the back and then handed me a bag that was filled with unknown goodies.I opened the bag and inside were a random 6 of their best donut offerings-I was pretty thrilled considering these donuts usually run from $3-$4 each-so to get 6 of them for $5.99 felt like a solid deal. What I really liked about this "surprise bags" was it gave me the opportunity to try out flavors in their bakery I never would've tried on my own at a deeply discounted price-I loved the opportunity to do this and look forward to trying it again sometime. In closing-this bakery is pretty great and the surprise bag gives me another reason to love this bakery-not that I needed another reason-I consider myself a Bad Bakers loyalist and nothing has changed that for me-go ahead and try em out-they rock. PS-They do have a rewards program-so be sure to sign up for this when you go to Bad Bakers.

I'm not sure if that's all they serve, but the egg was delicious along with the croissant which was baked here. As Bradshaw donuts was sold out early I headed to the next closest spot, Donut Time!…read more As I walked in it was just me and a beautiful vintage display of fresh classic donuts caught my eye, two sweet ladies and I knew this shop was gonna be good! I ordered a vanilla cake with fruity pebble sprinkles and a small coffee. Sitting down at the classic table took me back to childhood days of getting 2 donuts for a dollar in middle school and I just enjoyed it. :) Biting into my donut felt perfect. It was the perfect amount of cake and lite crunch, cooked to perfection, showing that this shop knows the art of donuts. The vanilla frosting was on point and the fruity pebbles accented the donut perfectly with a nice cup of black cawfee. Go check this place out!
