Our son's new car... he loves it!!! Thank you all for showing him how peaceful it can be when are purchasing a vehicle.

My husband and I needed to get a car for our son and I saw an advertisement on cars.com for a Nissan. My husband emailed our information and immediately we received a response from Carlos and he set us up an appointment for the next day. He was extremely kind and everyone else there was as well. He is a Top notch guy we really appreciated him. Freddie the financial advisor was very helpful our deal was excellent and around the affordable price we were looking for. Excellent deal and service. Customer service is outstanding here my family gives them 5+ stars and highly recommend this dealership. Thanks again Mazda dealership.

TLDR: Place is sus, but probably okay if you have limited other choices. Just be ready for some hassle. This review is for the service center in particular... and they would have gotten 1 star if not for Ali (manager of the whole place) resolving my issues. Took my car in for a lot of issues. Among them, I asked for a diagnosis of 2 different sounds. One, they said the power steering pump was whining excessively internally and recommended $1,371 to replace. Two, the other sound said they said was coming from a belt tensioner and said it was $465 to replace. I declined both, as I already knew the power steering pump was whining (not new info... so what's wrong with it?) and my boyfriend had already thought it wasn't the belt tensioner but that he would replace it for me instead of having to pay the dealer so much. I left my car there for a week so they had plenty of time to check things out and do it right. I had to pay $145 for each diagnosed item where I declined the work (so $290 for those). My boyfriend replaced the belt tensioner and lo and behold... the rattle was still there as he thought it would be. So it wasn't that. Additionally, the power steering whining was significantly reduced! It's probably because they updated the computer software to fix a headlight issue. So the power steering did not need to be replaced either, another misdiagnosis. ALSO, my boyfriend said they left things just in a general mess in the engine compartment, fluids left dripped out on stuff, etc. They also missed very obvious things that were about to be big problems, like my starter cable almost cut all the through! (They didn't do it, they just didn't notice it was about to break.) Etc etc etc, I could go on, but you get the point. So we were pretty mad and went back to talk to the service center in person to ask for a refund for the misdiagnoses. We immediately asked for the service manager but they said he wasn't available and we'd have to talk to our original service advisor, Amanda D. She was completely uninterested in helping us, did not care at all and defended the work the technicians did without even offering to talk to them about it or investigate the issue. Tip: if you end up having to take your car here, do not accept her as your service advisor, immediately ask for someone else. Because then you will have to deal with her every time and she could care less about you or her job. My boyfriend took tons of pictures of the engine (a few attached) and she said she was going to send them to the service manager but he was on medical leave. Basically telling us there was nothing she could do for us. Anyway, she wouldn't help us so my boyfriend is like "we're going across the street and talking to the main manager." I thought that they were separate, but turns out, the manager at the showroom is the manager for this whole location. Ali was so nice, really listened to us and was sympathetic to our story. He apologized and said he would talk to the techs to get their side of the story and if he could, he would issue a refund. (He did end up sending a check refunding the misdiagnoses. Thank you, Ali.) So basically Ali got this review 4 stars instead of 1 because he resolved my issues... but the problems are many at this location so be wary and I would say avoid if you can. At least until they can improve the service tech procedures and give Amanda some customer service training.

Took my $500 deposit for a specific car to be reserved on a trade. Called them the next day a few times to confirm the deal was still on, no calls back or communication for a full day afterwards. They sold the car to someone else during that time. Out a car and a deposit now, can't say I can recommend this place. Update 2/26/2023: I've been trying to contact the sales rep since the 20th to arrange someone from finance to call me back to rescind the charge. Called the sales department again today to speak to finance, no answer on the phone. I've disputed the charge with my bank to get it revoked, hopefully it will be removed from my credit card sometime within the next 90 days. Thanks, Bakersfield Mazda!

Please make sure that you always look to the lease value ratio and catch crooks like this when they try and overcharge you on a lease.

We were treated awful, and will be going out of town to purchase a Mazda. Both managers also did not wear masks correctly.

Good luck even trying to get a call through. Ever since I purchased a car at this location, it's always been problems with this business.

We recently went to Sangera Subaru looking to purchase an EV…read more Our sales person Mario was friendly, honest, knowledgable, and when he didn't know something he said so and either found out or got us to a resource to answer our questions. They were extremely patient and attentive, took us on several test drives to compare vehicles as well as letting us look at the vehicles and compare them. The lobby was clean and comfortable, snacks and drinks were provided in abundance, and the AC was cool. The entire process was very low pressure, they never once tried to push us into anything or made us feel pushed. There were no drawn out speeches on extended warranties or paint protection, and in the rare instances where add ons came up, they answered question if we had them or took a "no thank you" and didn't press. from Mario to the Sales Manager, the General Manager and the Finance person we worked with, everyone was great, professional, courteous and good humored. We ended up needing to leave our first visit as my Fiance was very tired and hungry after work, but when we told them we needed to come back the next day to finalize the deal, they didn't try to stop us or anything like that. They said they understood, set us up to come in the next day when we were fresh, and said goodbye. They could not have acted more perfectly in that situation. They washed, cleaned, charged and readied the car for us before the deal was even signed so that we wouldn't have to wait or come back, which was a really nice touch of customer care and shows how committed they are. It was not a completely perfect experience but that is part of why they deserve 5 stars. There was some waiting involved. That is often the case with buying a new car and should be understandable to any adult. A couple times we felt the wait was a bit long but that is a very minor point and they made sure we were comfortable and knew where to get snacks or drinks or the rest room etc. as needed. The larger issue was that there was a bit of a mix up in their system on their inventory that could have been a serious issue, and that mix up led to some miscommunication and misunderstanding when the time came to sign the papers to buy. People make mistakes, it happens, and I don't think mistakes should be the one thing we define a business or a person on. Sangera made a mistake which could have cost us time and money and trouble- but it was caught before it was able to, AND, this is most important to me and why I consider them a 5 star dealer- they admitted it, and they worked with us to make it right. Mario spoke with management on our behalf and did everything in his power to do something for us, he was very apologetic and sincere, honest and forthcoming from the start. The sales manager came to speak with us and also immediately admitted a mistake and apologized. After we all got our perspectives On the matter out there and talked out the issue, the sales manager and Mario listened to how we felt on the matter and worked on finding out how, within their power, they could make it right, and promised that if they didn't have the power to do what needed done, they would take it up the management chain and advocate for us. They didn't need to do that however, as the two of them were able to come back to us with a compromise that was very fair and left us feeling respected and taken care of. I think that is very important to note. The sales manager we spoke to was calm, respectful, excellent in his customer care. What could have easily escalated or even ended the deal and soured that relationship, he de escalated and handled with aplomb. He took extra steps to ensure we were happy with the deal and the vehicle we were taking home before leaving things back in Mario's capable hands and returning to his office once he was assured things were all good. The finance experience was fast, it was convenient, low pressure as well and just a master class in how financing should work. totally seamless. Sangera Subaru is an excellent example of how a dealership should be. Most of our visit was flawless, waits were mostly brief or non existent, processes were well implemented and executed, staff were all friendly and professional. A mistake happened, one mistake in a very complex process, and they owned it and more importantly, stepped up to try and make it right, and did. We drove home a brand new Trail Seeker that night and have an appointment scheduled to return to the dealer and meet with their product expert who will show us all the features and options of the car and answer any questions we have about it. That's customer care that extends beyond when the ink is dry. I would recommend that anyone looking to buy, lease, or service a Subaru go see Sangera and especially ask for Mario by name.

Harpal brought out keys to all 3 vehicles, explained the features and sent us on a test drive. Came back, let him know that we'd discuss and get back to him. Absolutely no pressure. We went home, called him that we'd decided which one we wanted and he asked for an hour to have it completely detailed and filled with gas for us. Went back in, signed all the papers with Tiler and simple as that, we drove off in our beautiful, new Subaru! Harpal was not only enthusiastic about the product as one would expect from a sales person, but he was equally enthusiastic about the dealership itself which really made us feel that not only had we chosen the right car for us but also the right store to buy it at. If you're looking for a Subaru, go in to Sangera and ask for Harpal!

She was great and really worked to rectify the situation. I had a battery replaced in my Jeep and a few weeks later the check engine came back on. I asked for an estimate for updating the software and the service advisor told me that I would be charged approximately $260. I objected that the cost seemed high. When I went to pick up my car, I again told the service advisor that the price was too high and asked if there was a recall for the software. The service advisor said that there was a "technical bulletin" and she called the service manager. The service manager told me that if I didn't like the price then I should have objected when the service advisor provided a repair estimate, and that she could not alter the price afterwards. I told her that I did object to the price beforehand, but she didn't seem to care. I told her that the dealership charged too much to install software that Jeep provides for free. The service manager was unsympathetic and told me that they needed to recoup the cost to certify the techs for these kind of repairs.
