I should've done this review last week. I was looking for someone that I can go to and call them my "wax person" lol. I've been going to European wax center for years but every time I liked going to a certain esthetician, they end up moving on. Or some places only used soft wax-- which I'm not a huge fan of when it comes to getting a brazilian. Well, Alyssa was one of the few people that reached out to me. She also told me how she was still closed (i had gotten confused and thought she was open) but would text me if she would reopen soon. FINALLY, it was announced that body waxing was able to open up and she messaged me if I would like to book! Ofc I took the chance and I don't regret it! I had a "lash lift" with Alyssa and am thrilled with the results! I have short lashes and the result of her work makes my eyes look more open and my lashes look a lot longer - the after photos are with clear mascara (and the natural light had changed a little). Before this, I did extensions off and on at another salon but the glue irritated my eyelids, the process took a long time, and they needed maintenance every few weeks. This process is so much better - took way less than an hour - and should last 8 weeks ... hooray! Alyssa is the consummate professional. I value how she always focuses on quality, comfort, and safety. She also is very particular about sanitary conditions...gotta love that in a waxing and lash salon! She just recently opened up her own business here at Balanced Wax and Beauty, previously I was going to her at Bare Wax Lounge. She is super nice and friendly as well I'm so glad I went to her after my previous waxer had suddenly retired. I tried other places and they always left me patchy whether it was a Brazilian or a full leg wax, and was not happy at all and of course I didn't want to be one of those picky clients and tell them that there was still some areas that still needed to be waxed off.
