I was referred to Balport by my good friend who's a master mechanic and teaches a high school auto shop. I worked with Mike Sr., and although he wasn't able to completely fix my Tundra tailgate lock, he did what he could, was extremely helpful, and referred me to someone else who could (& did) finish the job. I went in their store about getting a key made for a file cabinet that had a lost key. They stated I could take pictures of the lock and send it in to see if they can get a key made for it. Great the cost even seemed reasonable. I sent the pics in and I never got a call back. The next day I had to call them. I was then transferred over to another person who stated she would look up the code and she felt confident she could find a match. She asked if she could research it and call me back. Again no call back. I then called them again the next day just to be told they were too busy and they would get back with me. One week later still no return phone call. I gave up and decided to go somewhere else. Not helpful at all. I would pass with this place. I just wonder how they would have been if I bought a safe and had troubles down the road. Wonderful company. Made an appointment, Mike was on time and very knowledgeable. I had a stuck front door (funny how much you miss it when you can't use it anymore) which he evaluated and was able to save my mechanism - just needed a new cylinder.
