Placed an order over the phone and an employee stated everything was good to go for pick sent someone to go pick up food and they said there was no order even placed WHEN WE CONFIRMED TWICE OVER THE PHONE. Called back and they said they confirmed the wrong order with us over the phone NEVER GIVING US A CALL BACK LETTING US KNOW. The pizza and service are nothing special. It was made on time, but that's about it. I walked in, there was some guy behind the counter looking...not lost, but kind of not there. He took about two minutes to acknowledge me before he took my order, he went ahead and got himself a soda first. Some douche baggy looking guy with an ugly accent. The pizza was pretty forgettable, not really tasty, the crust is too thick, too much sauce, there was plenty of cheese but it was sort of bland, yet oily. Nothing flavorful. I got mine with mushrooms. They were about as tasty as magic mushrooms, if you've had those, you know how cardboard-y they are. I wouldn't go back. read more

Really liked this place. Went there right before I got a haircut and got my family and I a pizza and drink. I cannot emphasize how friendly the manager was. The little things to me are what matters and the manner with which he handled the packaging and deliverance of my food were unlike that I've ever seen before. I don't think they even deserve one start. Normally I've ordered in the passed and never had a problem always came on time but I ordered today at 712pm and was told 50-110 mins. So we said okay and we'll it is not 854pm and they aren't here. I've tried calling and calling since 826pm and never once did they answer my calls. So disappointed right now. Especially since I have 3 little ones that we're hungry and wanted pizza. I will never ordered from here again!!!!!!!! read more

I ordered 3 of thier Super Bull sandwiches which list Italian Salami as an ingredient. When we recieved the order there werw 2 extremely thin pieces cut in half on a 12" sandwich that had extra ham to accomidate the lack of salami. If I was Bambino I would be embarrassed. In addition I ordered a meatball sandwich with extra mozzarella, that was missing also. I have ordered these sandwiches before and they weren't like this. When I spoke with the manager he argued with me instead of trying to satisfy a consistent customer who now will be giving his business elsewhere. I spent over $50 in 5 sandwiches and it is sincere suggestion that everyone go to another business so you CAN get your moneys worth. read more

Went here based on the reviews. Are all of you all related to the owner? Or do all of you work here? Honestly, there is no way anyone else could rate this place greater than a two. I stayed in Carson while in CA, not by choice, for the hotel price. Problem was very limited restaurant choice and near none for "order in" for the business man. Monday night I ordered Pizza, it was OK, not great but no reason to complain for "take-out" pizza. I say a solid 6.....that is a good score for take out pizza. So on Thursday I thought, why not order lasagna and Caesar salad? They assured me they were both home made. 1. Caesar salad does not come with mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese.....did I miss something? And the homemade dressing, I don't think so, or they spent a great deal of time figuring out how to make store bought dressing. 2. Lasagne, was to be home-made, I will give you the pasta was very good. Problem was if I wanted all pasta I would have ordered spaghetti. There was some cheese and little meat, not in layers, more in clumps. That coupled with too much sauce and very greasy. Overall 1 combined with 2 was not edible. I realize "take-out" is not as good as in the house. There was nothing you could do to this take-out to make it better in house. This restaurant is an embarrassment to Italian food. read more

Bambino's is simply the best Italian food in the Carson/Gardena area. I'm very suspicious of the negative reviews because Bambino's puts tremendous pressure on the lousy chain pizza stores around it. The owner constantly strives to find the best ingredients. What other small pizza places in poor parts of town use fresh shaved Parmesan, offer Pesto sauces, Feta cheese and spinach ravioli? The $1 slices of fresh pizza are a great deal. The menu is large with chicken sandwiches and hamburgers as well as Italian food. The cheese is high quality. The sauces are authentic. I've eaten there for years and never got the wrong order--Bambino's is extremely conscientious and reliable. They will bend over backwards to satisfy the customer and will even adjust the recipes to allow me to have things that aren't on the menu. Something only a fine establishment would do. If you want Beverly hills dishes for Gardena prices, try the White Pizza or the eggplant pizza. read more
