We came for dinner on a Friday night. They are busy and also fulfill a lot of take out orders. They do a great job at handling all the orders. Food comes out pretty quickly and is delicious! Staff were attentive and friendly. I had the eggplant with tofu and jasmine rice. We also had the fresh spring rolls. The flavor was great and the portions were perfect size. I visit this restaurant several times a year and they never disappoint. I love the chicken Pad Thai! I usually special order it with veggies and shrimp along with a side of peanut sauce and it's absolutely delicious I also get the little fried spring rolls, which comes with the most delightful sweet chili sauce. My nephew loves the crab fried rice! The portions allow me to get at least four sittings before it's gone, so well worth the price! I would definitely recommend this place. A metamorphosis has happened and a shift in the universe has this once great Thai place and downgraded itself into mediocrity. After staying away for a while I came in for some amazing Seattle with outdoor dining space and some Thai cuisine. This very nice lady greeted me and gave me a menu. Beef salad was on my mind and I ordered some garlic prawns was my order. As I basked into the evening heat I anxiously awaited my food and up came my beef salad. Looked off from previous seasons and it tasted off. Once a mighty salad this was gross. It's like they threw the lettuce and beef into same pan. Now longer was the salad cold with beef layers on top but mini bites of beef served with warm lettuce. I'm so bummed cause it use to be amazing. Then came my prawns and those didn't seemed cooked enough and kinda rubbery. Presentation looked amazing yet quality lacked..... But my COKE was great , so I had that going for me... Needless to say whatever happened at this place I can say I'M OVER IT! The bill came, was paid and now review! Any chance of a refund , NOT! ***only reason for 4/5 is the price = less accessible / more of a treat-yourself experience. Besides that, food is to die for! The food here is comforting and mouth watering ! Medium spice has flavor but is not overwhelming - I will probably try "hot" next time. Thai tea is also one of the best I've had. Great tea to sweetness ratio Tofu in tom kha soup is firm. Pepper flakes kept getting into my mouth but they weren't spicy at all. Got prawns in the spring rolls but it was mostly lettuce, unfortunately. When I think prawns, I always assume bigger shrimp but these were small. The peanut sauce was warm and smooth and the best part ! Could be a great salad dressing. We recently stopped here for dinner at 7:25 pm. The person seating us let us know immediately that they close at 8 pm but we'd have time to order and eat. The server came to take our order and said she would get it to the kitchen "before they closed".The appetizer we ordered was good. Loved this place! We went there for a 5 year olds birthday lunch (her choice) and it was nice and quiet. The servers were really nice and were great with the kids! Loved the little soup they give out in the beginning of your meals. Food was great and we ordered a large variety. The chicken pad thai was a big hit along with the Tom Kha soup (we ordered it with fried tofu-yum!). They even gave the birthday girl a birthday treat at the end of the meal. Be coming to any Thai spot I always have to try two stamples.. pad Kee mao and pad Thai.... This place definitely did them a little bit different could be the region because everything looked very authentic inside of the shop. Veggies and noodles are fresh and cooked well but things were a little different than I expected first off the pad Kee mao had a much lighter soy sauce then I'm used to it didn't have that dark sweet so I love so... Pad Thai was very light as well. You couldn't see any of the tamarind on it and it didn't have that richesse that I'm used to. It almost reminded me of Vietnamese glass noodles with a much lighter taste. We ended up here after an afternoon of walking around the Arboretum. It was before 5pm, so we were actually the only group there. The server (and maybe owner) greeted us with some welcome miso soup that was tasty. We ordered our entrees and everything looked so pretty! And everything tasted as good as it looked. Maybe it's been. A while since I had thai food but this place was pretty good. It's in the part of capitol hill that I would never go to lol but I got a Groupon deal for it so we found a convenient time to try it out. For the Groupon deal, it's takeout only, and you basically call and order in advance, and they can scan your Groupon voucher at the restaurant, pretty easy. We ended up getting: Pad Kee Mao 3 star with tofu --- very generous amount. The container was hefty. I like the flavors. The noodle is a little soft and borderline mushy but not too bad. Larb Gai 3 star: we enjoyed this one a lot. O usually don't order this type of dish but I wanted to try something different. It's similar to the chicken wrap where you take a piece of cabbage and and put the chicken on there and eat. The flavors I'd the chicken was on point and the cabbage was crispy so there was a nice mixture of textures. A few cons; no takeout utensils available. Website menu is not updated to have new items. A few things have changed over the past years, the consistency just hasn't been there...One time I got very oily pad woon sen, the next time it was perfect, the next it barely had any vegetables, after that, lots of micro-cobs of corn but not much else...it's still my go-to for local takeout but I might need to shop around for a new place if the consistency doesn't improve. read more

WORST THAI RESTAURANT IN SEATTLE! Worst Food! Rude manager! The server was a nice lady who asked us if we want cold or hot water. I asked for a cup of hot water since it was a little chilly and we were sitting outside. She brought the hot water in a mason jar that had no handle. I noticed that the jar actually was broken at one side and could have cut me. The server apologized and then brought my hot water in a glass. She explained that they didn't have any cups for hot water. I ordered Phad Thai with tofu. The food had an awful smell and taste. I asked why does it have a strong fishy taste and that I wanted a vegeterian Phad Thai. That's when the owner came over and rudely reprimanded me of not ordering it vegeterian. Then she replaced it with another one. This dish tasted so bad that I almost spit it out. I have gone to many Thai restaurants for many years and this restaurant doesn't serve Thai food or perhaps the cook needs to go back to cooking class. Don't waste your money there. I had a Groupon to use. They Are not busy for Sit down in this Fri at 5:30 pm compared to other yrs I've been here. I ordered To Go Beed Phad Thai, 1 star and Massamun Chicken Curry that comes with rice. The Chicken was disappointing tasteless with no seasoning on it. The curry sauce lacked taste too. I've had Curries at 1 star when it was very good. The mystery Meat Beef was seasoned and a little better but not delicious. After sitting here for half hr, they did not offer me Water or anything . They were not busy with dine in customers too and was chit chatting taking a break. Most Thai restaurants bend over backwards. Maybe since I was a Groupon Customer they treated me differently and did not care. They also have bery limited hours. I called last might at 8:20 pm to ck if they will stay open til 9 pm, their standard closing hr. They said they will close st 8:30 pm, So I had no time to get there to order in person. The owner was very friendly saying bye to another customer who came to pick up his order. Aldo for any amt under $10, when zi paid my balance for taxes, they won't accept credit cards. So. Bring CASH just in case. I had a $20 in my wallet good thing. There is no sign posted up front like other Asian restaurants do on their Credit Card Policy. They are nickel and diming. We ordered takeout from here to eat at the park across the street on a sunny spring late afternoon. Our order was ready in 15 minutes. When we picked up and paid for our order, the employees did not look happy to be there. We ordered chicken pad see ew and fried tofu massaman curry, both at 3 stars spice level. We felt that both dishes had an accurate spice kick to them. The pad see ew was good but nothing amazing. The massaman curry's potatoes were all hard and crunchy, making the dish almost inedible. I tried too many times to give this place a chance. By far the worst crab fried rice I've ever had. It was so mushy and wet with maybe an ounce of crab. I had dinner with my 6-year old son at this restaurant on June 8th, 2023. There was a small cockroach in our soup. It is the first time in the US for over 14 years that I had that issue. Wherever there is a small cockroach, it means the big "family" is also there. I seriously doubt whether the kitchen hygiene is up to standards. The owner kindly offered not to pay for the dinner.
