I read about this place and had to give it a shot. I took the family for lunch and oh what a lunch. We all loved the food, the atmosphere and the people. It's a go up and order and we'll serve the food to your table place. We had a great server who was very helpful. Then the owner came out a couple of times to check on us. We were the first ones in the door, so maybe don't expect that at busier time of day, but that being said, it was clear he wanted to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. This is really a must go spot for some of Bend's fantastic cuisine. It's not a fancy break the bank kind of place, more casual and cool, with unbelievably mouthwatering food. My wife and I shared two meals. I ordered the water buffalo sausage brat, with sweet peppers, sauerkraut, and chimichurri mayo on a roll and my wife ordered the wild boar sausage with grilled onions, sauerkraut and chimichurri on a bed of lettuce. They were both fantastic. I don't remember what the kids got, but there was nothing left on their plates and they both gave the food high marks. Oh ya, we also had an order of their garlic gorgonzola fries for the table to start, which were outstanding. I was glad we only got one order for the table as the regular meal is plenty to fill you up, but they were a very nice size to share for four without totally filling you up. read more

Visited based on reviews and this joint did not disappoint. My husband and I are not even big meat eaters much less sausage eaters, but we were really impressed. SO good! Service-Owner (I believe) greeted us upon entry. He was personable and super helpful running through the menu and giving recommendations based on our preferences. Wait staff checked in regularly and cleared our table promptly. Food-Based on recommendations from owner, we ordered 2 sausage rolls and skinny fries. Both sausages were topped with caramelized onions, spicy peppers, and garlic aioli. The onions were sweet, the peppers were spicy, and the aioli was balanced and plentiful. The elk sausage was anything but gamey with a soft hint of herbs (rosemary). The spicy andouille had a little kick and was flavorful. The best part was the snap on the sausage!!! The fry basket was a decent size with just enough for 2 french fry loving peeps. They were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and salted to perfection. We ordered a mango IPA and Orange Kolsh that were the perfect pairing to our rich sausages. Ambience-Don't let the strip mall deter you from visiting. The inside is trendy with a chalkboard menu, cafe lighting, and picnic bench community seating. The covered patio is a great outdoor option. I wouldn't recommend sitting on the side of the restaurant simply because of all of the construction truck traffic passing by. Loved the classic rock! We will be back for sure (next visit)! This was our second visit in a year. It reminds me of a place up in Waterton Lakes in Canada, but B&B has many more exotic options for the sausages, and I don't have to make a 14 hour drive. The owner (?) is really nice and takes care of his customers, he came out to make sure it wasn't too cold for us in the patio area and set up heaters for everyone. As for the bangers-- there's something for everyone and the presentation is nice and on trend, with dogs perched on a sturdy parchment lined baking tray. My only wish is if they had a carrot slaw or some cilantro as a topping to go with the curry ketchup--but I'm sure you'll find a combo that speaks to you. read more

My recommendation is to stop reading reviews and immediately drive to Bangers and Brews to order THE BEST sausage of your life (or in my case, the best two sausages of your life as I decided to order a second after devouring the first). I love anything with cheddar and the cheddar and jalapeño banger was excellent. Service was amazing, and the bangers came piping hot fresh out of the kitchen.
