A romantic Thai bistro tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza. There's a romantic vibe with mood lighting and clean settings and menus. We got the khao soi and shrimp pad thai. It's a relaxed environment so we enjoyed conversation while waiting for our food. The Thai spice level on the pad thai was perfect - it's on the spicier side but that's how I personally like it. Service was wonderful and kind as well, especially with many customers coming in to pick up to-go orders.

Yesterday, while still stuck on a soft diet for another 12 hours (temporary crown after the prior, older one broke) and hungry for something that wasn't yogurt, I decided to try Bangkok 9 for a late lunch, thinking something with noodles would fit the bill. The dining room is clean, cozy, and comfortable, and they had some featured specials, but I went for the tofu Pad Thai on the regular menu. It was delicious, and there was enough for me to pack some of it up to go home with me for later. My server was very kind and attentive. I need to add this to the list of places to go when I'm out doing errands (which I was yesterday) and need a meal in the midst of it.

Hit up this spot spontaneously bc i was craving some noodle soup and didn't want to drive to get pho. it's in a big shopping center with plenty of parking, the server was super friendly. i ordered something that most don't think about when it comes to Thai food - duck noodle soup. So so good. the broth was incredible . i sub out the thin noodles for thicker noodles ! will come back again for sure

We were staying in the Sonoma inn and wanted to get some Asian food. This place is cute. The owner here is so nice. She knows how to do business. For the food, everything is averagely good. I wouldn't say anything is particularly good or bad. But it's definitely on the expansive side in comparison to a lot of Thai food in SF.

The venue is beautiful and clean. Staff friendly and attentive, however, the food is average and it took very long to be ready even though the restaurant had only a couple of other tables besides hours. I loved the fresh avocado rolls that came with my spicy noodles special but the noodles did not feel very special just regular. I would've given 3.5 stars but it doesn't allow me to - this is strictly my personal opinion of someone who eats a lot of Thai food and is very picky.

For lunch my daughter had set her mind to eat Thai food. We didn't have much options within the area with great reviews. Glad Yelp had 4 star for this restaurant. We ordered Thai prawn fried rice and prawn chow Mein. Both the dishes were good and came with the side of salad. I loved their salad with peanut sauce. The food was delicious and service was great. Staffs were wearing mask and the restaurant was clean. Overall great experience.

They must get a lot of requests of the extra crostini to enjoy and finish the mousse entirely! Steak tartare to savor over as well as their pickled caperberries, offered something different to cornichons and complimented well with the steak tartare. Duck confit was to be delved into! They know how to make the duck confit still juicy and tender! I adore the corn ragout, pickled alliums, squash and sweet peppers all mixed together and laid underneath the duck confit. It's a unique dish and a signature entree one must order! I haven't tasted anything like this before. Their iron steak could be replaced with something else. I do like their frites on this entree but they could have upped their game by providing gratin instead (which they have on their menu only as a side) with the steak. Adored their gratin. Overall warm dining atmosphere, quaint vibes and quality, attention to detail, French bites being served here!

The smoked fish dip was really good too, although I thought it could have used a little less mayo. The deviled eggs were my least favorite of the dishes we tried. We also ordered a couple of cocktails. The lavender espresso martini had just a hint of lavender, which I really liked. I also had a cocktail made with fig caramel, and it was so tasty that now I have to try making fig caramel myself! If we had been hungrier, I would have loved to try more of the menu. I'd definitely go back!

The biggest issue was that a mandatory 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. If you're going to require guests to pay a 20% tip regardless of the experience, the service should at least meet that standard. Unfortunately, it didn't. Our server, Chloe, seemed far more occupied with spending time in the kitchen or attending to guests seated outside than checking on our table. We were dining inside, where the restaurant was nearly empty, yet she would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time, leaving us with no way to ask for refills, order additional drinks, or get simple questions answered. To make matters worse, our wine glasses arrived visibly dirty. We pointed it out, but they were never replaced. That's a basic service expectation at any restaurant, especially one at this price point. She also volunteered recommendations for her "favorite" dishes, despite us never asking for suggestions--and they happened to be among the most expensive items on the menu. It felt more like upselling than genuine hospitality. The kitchen deserves credit because the food was genuinely very good. But great food can't make up for inattentive service, especially when guests have no choice but to pay a mandatory 20% gratuity. If Layla is going to automatically add a 20% tip, then they should ensure the service earns it--not simply collect it regardless of how poor the experience is.

Just got here today on a little foodie tour we decided to embark on and we are off to a great start. Asked around and we ended up at a small and local family owned Italian restaurant, Della Santina's! This family go back quite awhile here in the Marin and Sonoma Valley areas and have been cooking Tuscan style home made Italian dishes and man you can really taste and see the quality. It was a short walk from our hotel and upon arriving, we were seated in their back garden area pretty quickly. Was very quaint and the atmosphere and service was excellent. After a bit we ordered some excellent wine, took in the evening specials and placed our order. It is important to note the hat all the pasta is made fresh daily on premises, no box pasta here and the sauces are also made fresh daily as well and most to order which is amazing. On this occasion, we stuck to the home made pasta dishes, Lasagna Bolognese and Veal Pasta Special which were both delicious and their home made minestrone soup was out of this world. We really enjoyed our meal and it seemed like very one around us was having a great time as well. Rounding the corner we ordered some excellent espresso and cappuccino to close out the evening. Overall, it was amazing and it shows when you know the owner is making rounds at all the tables in o make sure everything is as it should be. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Sonoma. If you find your self in the area and feel like some Italian you cannot go wrong with Della Santina's so make sure to check them out.
