We walked in Sunday around 6:30pm. It wasn't busy at all. Only 1 person at a table. We ordered Tom yum, combo Fried Rice, papaya salad, vegetables with beef. Everything was good. Just wished the papaya salad had options with the raw marinated crab or something. The tom yum soup wasn't sweet, but was quite sour. We were glad it wasn't sweet though. Service was fast. Best authentic Thai Food that I have tried so far in Bay area out of all the restaurants in Berkeley Fairfield Benicia. The Chef is a 77-year-old grandma and she makes food with love and it's delicious. I had a drunken noodle with steak, medium hot and my friend had orange chicken that was literally made with fresh orange juice. We also had the sticky mango dessert which was super fresh and yummy and we have decided to go back once a week and eat at this Fabulous place and also good service. read more

"A Cozy Thai Hug in a Bowl (With the Best Veggie Rolls Ever)" Stopped by Siam Thai House when I needed a little comfort food pick-me-up, and it absolutely delivered the cozy, flavorful vibes I was hoping for. Let's start with the vegetarian rolls.... hands down the best I've had anywhere. They have this unexpected twist of noodles and veggies inside that makes them light yet satisfying, and the dipping sauce had just the right kick to tie it all together. I could have easily made a meal out of those alone! For my main course, I ordered the Simple noodle soup, and it was exactly what my soul needed, warm, flavorful, and deliciously comforting. Every spoonful felt like a hug from the inside out. It contained rice noodles, bean sprouts, and broccoli topped with green onion and roasted garlic; optional meat addition too! Now, for the one hiccup that brought it down to four stars: the sticky rice arrived as one very solid, inedible block. I tried to chip away at it but eventually admitted defeat. Thankfully, everything else was so good that it didn't dampen the experience too much. I couldn't help eyeing the dishes around me-Pad Thai, Tom Kha Gai soup, and Pad See Ew all looked incredible. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu next time. Verdict: A warm, welcoming spot that hits all the right notes for flavor, comfort, and authenticity. Most of the time I go, I get the same thing: Chicken Tom Kha. It is explosive in flavor. Delicious. And the chicken is at the right texture. Fresh onions, delicious mushrooms. They got other stuff, of course, but I haven't had enough of the Tom Kha yet. Very homey vibe. They're just there, existing organically, and it makes you feel like you have the space to do the same. When I walked in, the restaurant screamed "hole-in-the-wall", and I was hopeful that the food would achieve the quality of a good hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Alas, it was not to be. I found myself in yet again another restaurant serving average Asian food in Napa. We ordered Ladyfingers, garlic shrimp, their Evil Jungle Prince curry with chicken, Pad Thai, and steamed rice. The Evil Jungle Prince curry, which was supposed to be a bit spicy, was the best dish, although it was not spicy at all. The shrimp was uninspired but fine. I have no idea how the Ladyfingers were because, when we got home, they were not in the bag (we ordered takeout). The Pad Thai was sweet. WAAAAY too sweet. The food, aside from the dessert version Pad Thai, was not horrible, but it was also not great. It was perfectly average. The woman who took my order was nice. The restaurant has adequate seating (and parking) if one wishes to dine in (but it does seem to be more of a takeout restaurant). The food itself is neither here nor there. read more

I have been here several times since moving to Napa and each time I find myself disappointed. I want this place to be great because it's conveniently near my work but sadly that's not a good enough reason to come here. I've ordered three different noodle related dishes, so I can't speak to their curry which I see some of the other reviews are praising, but everything I've ordered has been super bland. Thai food can be really vibrant and flavorful, but here it's not, and that's why I'm disappointed. In addition, I'm not a huge fan of the texture of their chicken - it's never what I expect. I'd be more forgiving if the portion size to price ratio was better but for what it costs... The place is clean, and I've found my interactions with the staff to be pleasant, but I just honestly don't get the point of this restaurant. I'm on the prowl for a more lively-tasting Thai place around here - I hope I find one - just a bummer I will have to drive further to find it. read more

This restaurant is super cute...dated, but clean! The woman working the whole floor is super sweet and really took her time to talk with us multiple times! Good came out super fast and WOW! We were the second people to be there. The lady before us got her food and left as it should be. More people decided to come in and they got attended to. We ordered pick up so it made sense that they were getting seating and getting their drinks. This was a group of 5 and we were just 2. They all got their food before us while we waited an hour for our food. 20-30 minutes, I'd understand. But a whole hour while the people after us got their food before us was ridiculous. There was multiple people picking up DoorDash and getting their order before us. A man picking up DoorDash had a gigantic order of food and got it before we did. Then they had the nerve to say it was busy but we came first. We ordered first. After the hour wait, we got our food and the food was cold. Not to mention, the mango sticky rice we had ordered got all over our bag. This is absolutely barbaric. I wouldn't recommend coming if you want to wait an hour for cold food and a messy deliverance. Decided to try this restaurant for lunch on the spur of the moment while we were walking by. It was crowded when we got there, but we got the last table (there are ten). I ordered the pumpkin curry lunch special with a Thai vegetable roll. It also came with soup, a salad with peanut dressing, and jasmine rice. My husband had the cashew stir fry with veggies and tofu. Both were excellent. Service was good. The place was clean. The people at the table next to us said they've been coming here regularly for three years.
