    mango sticky rice
    Aurea J.

One of the best yellow curries i've had, and I've eaten a lot of em in my life! The quantity is good for 2 people. I forgot to take a photo of it but it was super yummy. It's honestly a hidden gem. It's in a little plaza with seating inside. Their service was super quick and they were super sweet. We had the papaya salad which was spicy for me but it was a spice that was enjoyable because it did not mask out the rest of the flavors. The mango sticky rice was yummy. Not overly sweet and the rice came in warm. We asked for extra coconut sauce and they did the job well. I'm coming back again real soon!

Haven't been in 7 years. I remember they loved to upcharge was the reason. They added a large soup for no reason. I felt he had butterflies when he asked if I want rice with my curry. I said yes. I said a small, tiny one. He said okay. He gave me a large for six bucks. Soo. One small Tom kha One small rice. One large curry with protein. On large chicken and rice dish. 59.00!!!! Again they added extra soup And upcharge rice to large without asking. If the food is bomb I'll raise a star. (I just raised a star) food was good and family ate it. My son had the small soup and it was a bit spicy and I have nor was asked a spicy level so be specific) Maybe best to order online to get your order right. Check the receipt twice. Cmon America. Give quality service please.

This place is great! They gave out free teapots for Valentine's Day

Bangkok Taste served an excellent meal. The satay was flavorful and tender, the Bangkok shrimp and the garlic and mint leaf shrimp were both outstanding, and the rice was perfectly cooked. Finished with sticky mango rice that was fresh and delicious.

Our Go-To Order- Pad See Ew, Chicken Pad Thai, Yum Yai Salad, Tom Kha Gai

This should've been my first review. I've been coming here for 20+ years and even though I moved to a different city, I don't mind driving an extra 20 mins. I've tried other closer Thai places and always come back here. The food is very flavorful, authentic, and delicious. Great customer service. The servers already know what my son likes (chicken Pad Thai). My favorite dishes are: Pad See Ew, Chicken Pad Thai, Tom Kha Gai soup (coconut soup), Yum Yai Salad, & a side of white rice with chili spices on the side. I also love to order the following from their lunch menu- panang curry chicken & sauteed veggies with tofu (comes with yummy soup, wontons & rice) Tip: Add rice to the soup, it's delicious!! Rating - 10/10

The fried pork wontons are soooo good with their sweet sauce!! A must get before your dinner

Every dish freshly cooked to order from this friendly and authentic Thai family restaurant. Family run business for many decades right off of Grand Ave on the borderline of Orange and Santa Ana. Been coming here for several years and each time we try to get a dish we've never are before and each time every dish never disappoints. Their fried wontons are so delicious! You get about 10-12 made with freshly seasoned chicken. Their pork fried rice is a must side staple and can be a meal within itself. The stuffed omelet is another one of our favorites (takes a little longer than the other dishes to make but well worth the wait) Chinese broccoli with your choice of protein is soooo good-i love it with the roasted pork. The staff is very friendly, whether you're being hosted by Honey, Tony or sometimes the Owner, Chris will assist with the staff. Everyone is a delight to chat with. Tables and booths available for seating and a nice dining atmosphere for all to enjoy! Say hello to the mom and Andy who are always cooking up all the delicious dishes you order and sometimes Chris, too :) Definitely one of our favorite places to dine out for Thai because the food and sauces are so fresh and have that extra taste of home cooking - yummmm!!! Oh the yellow curry with pork is very good! I could eat the sauce just by itself! (:

They have a fast casual set up where you order at the counter and when your food is ready, someone will bring it to your table. Their menu is pretty simple and straightforward. They have Stir Fries, Curry, Noodle Soups, and Soups, and you can choose the type of protein you want: veggies, tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp, bbq pork, chicken satay, or fried chicken, each at different price points. We got a Pad See Ew with Chicken, and it was tasty! There was a decent amount of broccoli in it. They also ask you what spice level you want. We ordered mild, and it had a slight kick to it. We also tried their new menu item, Thai Basil Eggplant. It comes with ground chicken, bell peppers, onions, and jasmine white rice. I ordered mild spice level as well, but it wasn't as spicy as the Pad See Ew. It was still very flavorful and definitely goes well with the rice. It came out piping hot! I would get this again!

One of my favorite things to pair with our meal is their spice rack. If you are able to handle a bit of heat, ask for it and introduce the pickle chili to your dish. It elevates flavor with contrast quite well. Pad See Ew and Crab fried rice is what we ordered. The first visit had beef salad which paired great with the rest of the meal. Overall, stop by this location for good eats. FYI, parking can be tricky so be mindful about peak hours and carpool.

When I looked at the menu, everything sounded good, and I ended up ordering way more than I planned even though there were only two of us. Honestly, what I ordered was more like enough for four people, but everything just looked too good and I wanted to try a bit of everything. We had Super Lump Fried Rice, Tom Kha Pot (seafood), Duck Pineapple Curry, Grilled Giant Squid, and Red Snapper with Mango. For dessert, Coconut Custard, Durian Sticky Rice, and Thai Iced Tea. The Duck Pineapple Curry was nicely presented and a bit different in a good way, not something I usually see at other Thai restaurants. The Red Snapper with Mango was probably my favorite , the sauce had a really good depth of flavor, and it reminded me of the kind of flavors I had when I visited Thailand before. I also really liked the durian sticky rice. Most Thai places I go to usually only have mango sticky rice, so seeing durian on the menu was a nice surprise, and I actually enjoyed it all the way to the last bite. For two people, the bill came out close to $200, which is not cheap, but I felt like the variety and quality made it worth it for me. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, the staff is friendly, and parking is pretty easy.

We ordered 4 dishes to try - the short rib soup, yellow curry, pad kee mao, and orange chicken. The yellow curry chicken came out almost immediately (we were expecting the soup to be first given it is an appetizer). The curry was extremely sweet - it actually tasted like a desert. We didn't want to send it back but the manager stopped by to ask how the dish was and we were honest. She took the dish back, which we were appreciative of. However, everything after that was downhill - the server became increasingly rude and brought out our orange chicken and made a sarcastic comment like "you know orange chicken is sweet?". We're Asian and very familiar with all Asian cultural cuisines and are more than experienced to know that yellow curry isn't supposed to be that sweet and orange chicken is a sweet and savory dish (which is more universal and accepted beyond traditional asian dishes). She never once checked on our table and refused to even bring the check - another waitress had to. So for service, this ruined the experience. The food was lackluster at best. The pad kee mao was decent, but nothing was all that great. Drinks were ok as well - Thai tea was acceptable and Thai coffee was not good at all. All in all would not come back to especially since there are any other great Thai options in the mile radius.
