Not sure how I never knew about this place. Went for lunch today, made a reservation for 12:45 and good thing we did. The place was packed. Food quality was good, and healthy portions!! For the price, I think you get same quality of food but more compared to other restaurants in the area. Service staff were all very friendly and attentive. Didn't have to wave them down for anything. They checked in on the table from time to time. Mostly families dining so you know they are kid friendly.

    Ginger Seabass, $36

5/5: $36 ginger Seabass: this was amazing, light, refreshing, delicately cooked. We would come back for this dish. 5/5: $26 lump crab omelette fried rice: very balanced and flavorful excellent to pair with the Seabass. They give generous crab lumps. 3/5: $26 fried curry catfish: the flavors are very good, but it is super salty. This dish is best eaten with plain white rice or some steamed veggies with no flavoring. The space is nice clean and spacious. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. They answered a lot of our questions and gave excellent recommendations. We will be back soon.

Nice interior and lots of seating, was seated quickly Food tasted good and had great flavors but our experience was a littleee thrown off by the lack of service and we also found hair in our food :,( We told the waitress about it and they brought us remade dish, it was papaya salad, but then the second time we found another hair on the shrimp soo it was honestly absurd for it to happen a second time. Pad thai also had a fish bone in it?? We werent given the sauce tray and it takes a while to get servers attention However, food was flavored well and we got papaya salad, green curry, and pad thai. Nothing is too spicy or salty. Just an unfortunate experience with the papaya salad and service could definitely be a bit better by being more attentive to the customers

I seriously love when a new thai spot pops up. The stand out item here is the fried fish and the crab fried noodle. Simply delicious. I definitely would like to be back to try some other unique items.

I ordered takeout from here so I can't comment on the ambiance nor service but the food itself is pretty good. I only knocked off a star because this place is pricier than my go to and the green chicken curry was soooo sweet . It was good but I think was too sweet for my taste. The chicken itself was good and the curry was packed with veggies. Their pad woonsen though... soooo flavorful. Def get that. Overall this is a solid Thai food place!

Khao Soi with New York Beef, Sticky Rice, Duck Pineapple Curry sub Brown Rice 8/8/26

Came here on a Saturday evening for dinner with a friend. Plaza itself is old and isn't that nice, which you can see from the storefront and inside the restaurant itself - at the overflow seating in the back of the store and the restrooms - which weren't dirty, they were just old and needs to be remodelled. I do admire that they did do a great job remodelling and making the ambiance for the primary dining area look really nice. Service was really good, efficient and attentive too! We came here after seeing a reel ad on Instagram of this place. We ordered the Khao Soi with New York Beef, Sticky Rice, and Duck Pineapple Curry sub Brown Rice. Food was absolutely spectacular!!! Everything hit the spot and was perfect! The Khao Soi with Beef was mine and my friend's favorite, but everything was really good. I really enjoyed their presentation and attention to details too - the hanging plate for the Duck Curry and the pretty copper utensils - including the mermaid spoon in the Khao Soi. Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. It just could've been a little spicier for my taste. Overall, my friend and I had an amazing dining experience here. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!!!

Overall ambience of the place is nice and cozy. No wait on a Friday night which is always a plus! We got the pad Thai and Tom Kha. Pad Thai noodles were chewier compared to other places but overall flavor was okay. Portion sizes are significantly smaller compared to your typical Thai restaurant. Where this place misses is the service. Took a while for anyone to come by to take our order and ask us if we wanted water. When it came time to pay. We usually put our own custom tip compared to what the device says but the server seemed to rush us when paying.

We were originally going to get mango sticky rice, but since it was so hot, we had to order something cold....and it was the best thing ever!! Thai Favorite Cuisine in Tustin is seriously so underrated! The vibes are cozy, and the khao soi, papaya salad, and crab lump fried rice were all sooo good. The crab flavor in the fried rice really came through too Such a good spot for a date night or a family weekend meal. Must try!!!

Great experience! Wonderful food and service! Highly recommend trying it out! They have a lot of options and I love everything here.

I went to Thai Favorite Cuisine for lunch recently, and I feel like they actually have quite a lot more choices compared to some other Thai spots I usually go to. When I looked at the menu, everything sounded good, and I ended up ordering way more than I planned even though there were only two of us. Honestly, what I ordered was more like enough for four people, but everything just looked too good and I wanted to try a bit of everything. We had Super Lump Fried Rice, Tom Kha Pot (seafood), Duck Pineapple Curry, Grilled Giant Squid, and Red Snapper with Mango. For dessert, Coconut Custard, Durian Sticky Rice, and Thai Iced Tea. The Duck Pineapple Curry was nicely presented and a bit different in a good way, not something I usually see at other Thai restaurants. The Red Snapper with Mango was probably my favorite , the sauce had a really good depth of flavor, and it reminded me of the kind of flavors I had when I visited Thailand before. I also really liked the durian sticky rice. Most Thai places I go to usually only have mango sticky rice, so seeing durian on the menu was a nice surprise, and I actually enjoyed it all the way to the last bite. For two people, the bill came out close to $200, which is not cheap, but I felt like the variety and quality made it worth it for me. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, the staff is friendly, and parking is pretty easy.

Wow what a a surprising experience. We were all craving Thai and a few other spots we had in mind the wait was too long but not here they allow for same day reservations and so we had a large group of 8 and wanted to take a chance and try a new spot. The decor of the restaurant is very nice well lit inside. The menu has a lot of pictures which is awesome and a lot of highly recommended dishes. We tried a bunch about 9 different dishes and 3 different desserts. My favorite was the crab lump fried rice and the masaman curry. Tom kha was up there as well. Honestly all the dishes were flavorful and nothing disappointed. Service is great and the food comes out quick! Highly recommended as a Thai option if you're in the area

This is such a solid Thai spot! Their food is delicious, everything is super tasty! We asked to switch tables and the server was helpful and friendly and got us a bigger table. She also recommended the dessert which was delicious. It's a good size restaurant with nice decor. Really good Thai spot!

Taste :4.7/5 Environment: 4.8/5 Service :5/5 If you've lived in OC for years and still haven't tried this place... fix that. Beautiful presentation, premium-quality dishes, and it's perfect for a date with your bestie. My top picks: Sea bass -- super fresh, soft, melts in your mouth (presentation is gorgeous) Duck curry with pineapple -- well-done duck with a chewy texture + balanced curry (also stunning) Also worth trying: Tom Zapp Ribs -- slow-simmered beef ribs in tangy spicy Thai herbal broth (lemongrass + kaffir lime + chili). I haven't seen this anywhere else. Spicy corn salad + salted egg -- surprisingly addictive combo BBQ pork jowl + jeaw / tamarind sauce -- chewy, smoky, so good Plenty of free parking

Ask the Community - Thai Favorite Cuisine

Can the curries be made vegetarian (no fish)? How about the noodles (pad Thai and pad see ew)? And Tom Kha soup?

Yes, we could make curry and noodle menu vegetarian.

    Is there lunch specials?

Yes. We do! Lunch special available Monday-Friday from 11-2:30pm exclude holiday.

Hi, is there a change of ownership? All our favorite dishes are not tasting the same anymore..

Yes, over the years they've undergone many changes. I've been a customer since 2005 and the owners moved to Garden Grove about 4 years ago. Change in ownership and became Souvarnaboumi (?) and now Thai Favorite. New menu and prices.…

Do you offer catering? If so, who can I contact for a catering menu?

Yes, we do! Please call in the restaurant asking for James or Ted regarding pricing. Thank you

    Do they have vegetarian options?

    Yes
