PHO is my favorite food and I judge on broth, meat, and portion. As soon as I tasted the broth I INHALED IT!!! The broth was so freaking rich I didn't want to add any chili or lime juice it was THAT DELICIOUS!!! I would have taken a picture of the serving, but I was half way through when I remembered lol I got the #2 Pho, it came with shrimp and a good portion of beef! The beef was SO TENDER barely had to chew it, it melted in my mouth with the broth lmao it was a Saturday afternoon so it was semi busy this day, but I got my food in less than 5 minutes! The owner (I think) labeled his trays with the restaurants name so I decided to drop that off to him after (clean of course). Was feeling like having pho so was pleasantly surprised to find "Pho Rose" as one of the 2nd floor food court options at the Main Place Mall. Prices were reasonable and the offered a surprisingly big menu of Vietnamese cuisine items. They offer 6 beef broth noodle soup options, 5 chow mein and rice options, 4 Vietnamese sandwiches (banh mi) options, 6 appetizers options (spring rolls, egg rolls, popcorn chicken, fish balls, calamari, French fries) and bottle/can drinks along with Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai Iced Tea. I ordered and paid at the counter for the 1. Pho Signature - $15.99 - Rare Steak, short ribs, meatballs. You get a pager and it rang rather quickly that my order was ready for pickup. The pho came out in a plastic bowl with single-use plastic spoon and wooden chopsticks. There were usually Pho accompaniments in a small Styrofoam tray. : the lime, bean sprouts, jalapenos, hoisin and sriracha packets, as well as a small sauce container of chili oil. The pho broth was tasty. The short rib was soft and easy to eat off the bone. There was actually a lot of meat provide with lots of rare beef (tai) slices and a few beef balls (bo vien). Noodle portion was fair (esp. since I prefer less noodles), though I think most others might want more noodles. Overall, really glad I found this place to satify my pho craving! read more

This restaurant is nestled into a food court location on the 2nd floor of the Santa Ana Mainplace Mall. There is plenty of nearby seating and other restaurants too. Your party will have choice of cuisines if they're not all into Vietnamese food. My shrimp and pork spring rolls were on the basic but still tasty side. It came with some picked carrots and daikon radish on the side with peanut sauce. The staff was friendly and gave me a side baggie of Thai basil and cilantro to add flavor to my rolls. They also had some delicious looking pho and other dishes. My food was ready fast. Good spot for a bite while shopping at the mall or to go. If they stopped using shredded iceberg lettuce and added some herbs (mint, cilantro) or other toppings to their spring rolls I'd revise to 5 stars. read more

Great food and friendly service. We came by during dinner time /around 5:30pm. The store locates in the 2nd floor of MainPlace food court. My husband got the filet mignon noodles and I got the beef fried rice. Both dishes were delicious and huge portion. The meat was tender and the so flavorful. FINALLY! An authentic delicious Vietnamese spot that is close to me. Let me tell you something - I am a picky one when it comes to my pho and banh mi, and this place feels JUST like home. Everything is freshly made and delicious! I've had the banh mi twice now, they give you a generous amount of meat, pate, butter, and veggies served on a French roll. It's absolutely yummy. Today I also got the pho special, the broth was the right balance of sweet and salty, just how I like it. The rare steak was already cooked in the broth, so it wasn't served rare but I'll ask for it on the side next time. I ate it super fast so wasn't able to get a photo. Needless to say though, I'll definitely be back here again and think I've found my go-to spot for Vietnamese food! They also have other dishes - appetizers like popcorn chicken, calamari, and more, and rice/noodle plates. I'll definitely give those a try next time. It's so great to see a new pho/Vietnamese restaurant coming back to the MainPlace Mall since the other one just closed during the pandemic. The owner Rose and her fellow employees are very kind and attentive every time when I come by for a quick lunch break. They never disappoint me with the food and service. Really good Rare Beef Pho and Popcorn chicken. Pho broth is really tasty, it's surprised from a food court restaurant. Popcorn chicken is another thumb up , fresh and crunchy not dry at all and well seasoned and not oily at all. Kids got calamari and french fries without any complaint.
