    Wor Wonton Soup
    Shanae V.

I wanted some soup and I decided to try a new place. The wonton soup was different than what I was used to but it was pleasant. Their egg rolls was amazing! The quality is way better than the "regular" egg rolls other places offer. This has now become one of my "go-to" places if I want some soup or egg rolls and I have to try their other items as well. They give a free can beverage if you check in as well.

The food is always so bomb and so is the service. It's a must eat authentic Chinese bistro

Phenomenal food! These reviews do not justify how tasty, high quality, and diverse the food is here! I visited this delightful shop with my club, and everyone could not get enough. Fresh, refreshing food, authentic tea, and amazing ambiance. I've never liked cheese wonton, but their's is heavenly. It melts in your mouth and is sweet. #kissedbyanangel This Chinese restaurant has me craving for more! I recommend all my friends here now! Definitely a hot spot for vegetarian delight!

Big portion. Great flavor. Not too salty or oily. I ordered sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken. The breading wasn't too much on the sesame chicken. Vegetables were good. Noodles not cooked too long. Rice delicious. Sesame chicken was very tender and super bomb. Overall delicious plate. Nice decor, clean newer place. Will be back.

Fair price and great food and service with a smile

Always so friendly and fast. Not so fast that the food is sitting under a heat lamp, this we know as we can always see the cook, Chinese, moving so quick preparing our fresh food. About the only thing that may be frozen and then quick fried is the egg rolls and won tons, but they are good. Decent pricing too v

    KungPao Chicken

Tried it for the first time, I ordered the lunch specials of KungPao Chicken, Chowmein, Pepper Beef and Beef Pad Thai. Flavorless food.. KungPao Chicken- They are strips of chicken with a lot of onions and vegetables and it is not spicy at all it was flavorless Pepper Beef- Obviously it's peppered beef so it has a huge amount of pepper however once you eat the beef the texture of the beef is kind a different very soft like it's just been over cooked more than one time Pad Thai- I have had my fair share of this dish and let me tell you horrible.. The noodles were extremely soggy to the point that I was trying to serve them out of the container and they smooshed like mashed potatoes again no flavor to the food Will never order again, was very disappointed

Very nice dining room. This was at 1pm on a Saturday. Shortly after I took this photo, a family of 5 came in so it wasn't always empty.

In an area where there are as many Chinese quick service restaurants as there are Starbucks, it's important to find a unique way to draw people to your place. This place is kind of tucked into a corner and hard to see unless your driving east on Chapman Ave. Even then, you have to be looking for a restaurant to really notice it. When I pulled up around 1pm on a Saturday, there was only one other customer, but I was greeted immediately with a very friendly welcome. Not overly aggressive to immediately take my order, she let me peruse the menu until I was ready. The place is very clean and well decorated. In talking with the woman behind the counter, they've only been open since last summer and she said people are still finding them for the first time. I ordered the Orange Chicken, lunch portion (there's a dinner portion as well). She asked what kind of side dish I wanted, fried rice, white rice, chow mien, etc. I opted for white rice as I like simple foods. Total cost - $7. Not bad for what you get. I checked in on Yelp so received a free soft drink. My order was to go so I waited a nice oversized comfy chair until it was ready. They don't make the food until you order it. When I got home, the food was still hot and tasted excellent. They added veggies to the orange chicken which most places don't. The orange chicken was very moist. The portion size was perfect. Towards the bottom of the dish, the orange sauce had settled so it was a little to much for me. Probably wouldn't happen when eating in though. Overall, I rate it in between a traditional sit down Chinese restaurant and quick service pull from the pan place. I'll definitely eat here again when I'm in the area. I might even dine in next time.

They added broccoli stem as broccoli..... -_-

Wow. This is by far the WORST Chinese food I've ever had, and I've had really terrible Chinese food in my life. The "orange chicken" tasted like dried frozen chicken was flavored with fruity pebbles. Ordered chicken with chow mein for $1 extra but it smelled like plastic for some reason.... so disappointed. Don't order from here

Me and…read moremy friend are not lamb fans and was a bit hesitant on ordering the food so we did hold off on ordering for ourselves. And said we decided to share and eat off of my two brothers plate before we decided to consider coming back or eating more. There was only one worker that was working at the time, but she did a phenomenal job, considering she was holding down the fort for the restaurant by herself. She also mentioned she doesn't like lamb, but she would eat the one here herself so it gave me a pretty good first impression thus far. We ordered the lamb skewers, grilled rib, shank over rice, homemade yogurt, and Cole slaw. Lamb Skewers - 4.5/5 the portion was very generous! $15 for 3 large skewers that was about 1.25 ft length each. Was perfectly grilled and did not taste gamey at all. I believe it was Szechuan pepper that seasoned the skewers. I didn't eat enough to recognize if there was any numbing, but the bite that I took was amazing. Outside was crunchy inside was chewy enough to enjoy, but not tough. Grilled rib - 5/5 I was very pleasantly surprised at how although it was very charred and crunchy in the outside that the inside was very soft and fatty. The meat literally fell off the bone. Again, no gaminess and very pleasant to enjoy. Shank - 5/5 I would have to say that this was the hero of the evening from all the dishes we ordered. The meat was extremely soft, fatty, and literally fell off the bone as I was holding it up. It was very similar to pork flavor and extremely enjoyable for me. On a separate note, I enjoyed that so much but because I had already eaten before this dinner, I came back a separate day to have that dish for myself. The rice seems to be cooked in some type of protein broth and if I had to guess it's probably lamb broth along with carrot. It also came with size of pickled items to lighten the fatness from the meat as well as a small bowl of lamb based soup. Homemade yogurt - 4/5 had a slight tartness to it and light sweetness, but was more leaning towards the sweet side of things. I enjoyed it with the dried raisins and the granola for texture and it was a pretty good ending to the entire meal. Coleslaw - 3/5 it tasted average and didn't seem to be anything special. Though it was good to have it along with all the other protein items to lighten up each bite.

We waited one hour on my visit, but that is to be expected as the restaurant is quite small. Beef Rolls (5/5): We got two orders of these, and it was our favorite for a reason. Crispy and flaky wrap on the outside and it was packed with flavor. It was very satisfying to eat! Scallion Pancakes (3.5/5): They were plain but that is to be expected, I didn't taste much scallion. It needed the sauce of course! Spicy Wontons (4/5): These are solid and the chili oil does pack a lot of heat. I would say they are on the spicier side, just wish there was a little more depth to it. Seven Grams XLB (4/5): Juicy and flavorful! Not the absolute best I've had, but still worth ordering. Golden Beef Noodle Soup (5/5): This bowl right here was amazing. Green leafy kale paired with the extra hearty soup was what made this bowl a standout dish for me. 100% would order this alone! Mapo Tofu (5/5): Yummy silky tofu cubes with the minced meat sauce were delicious in every bite! I had no other complaints, but this dish gets very filling easily. Seating consider is around 10 tables plus hjgh top stools, so if you are a large group the wait can be long. We stopped by yesterday to try out some new items, which were a mixed bag. First the Cheese Chicken Roll was surprisingly good. Imagine the Beef Roll and swap things around to get something off of a fancy KFC menu. It features a crispy flaky tortilla outside, wrapped around copious chicken (katsu texture), some lettuce for a crunch, some melted cheese, and then a spicy Thousand-Island type dressing. It all pairs well, has a good chicken portion, and texture variation too. My only desire would be for slightly more lettuce and slightly less cheese, otherwise perfect. Crispy Lotus Root Fries are solid, but not a replacement for typical potato fries. The lotus version was not as crispy or crunchy, but would be an Asian version. It comes with ketchup and the same spicy thousand island dressing as the chicken roll. Lastly we were let down by the Pan Fried Shrimp&Chicken Dumplings (Whole Wheat). The whole wheat wrapping had a very slight texture difference, not as chewy as the typical dumpling wrapping. But the inside was the main focus. It seemed like it was a fishball inside, a homogenous color and texture and more reminiscent of fish than of shrimp. It's possible we got the wrong dumpling. Based on this experience we would not order it again. Wheat wrapping would be fine, but the shrimp/chicken filling would be a no.
