Appetizers deserving a shout: - shrimp tempura to perfection - pork egg rolls to make you slap mama The sauce that comes with both is a delight. The Thai tea is the best I have ever had - I can't order just one. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. The portions are just pleasantly heavy without being overboard. The range of available spicy levels will cover ANYone's desires¡ and this is a big plus for me and the wife. Tip: they give a very impressive discount for cash payers ;-) I do highly suggest the Pad Woon Sen - the unique noodles are divine! Was really excited to try Bangkok after reading the great reviews on Yelp. However, after taking out dinner from there I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the cashew chicken with brown rice and edamame. The edamame was unseasoned and dry. There was very little chicken in the dish and the lettuce had gone bad. The brown rice was cold. The flavor of the dish was fine, but it was definitely one of the more average Cashew Chicken dishes that I've had in my life. I didn't dine in but was pretty confused to find the restaurant attached to a gas station. I don't judge until I taste the food, but the ambiance definitely was not a plus. Maybe I had a lone bad experience, but this was definitely not a 4.5 star restaurant for me. read more

Me and my wife wanted to try out a Thai place nearby. The restaurant was almost full with people eating. I ordered the Pad Kee Mow. My wife ordered egg rolls for a starter. Egg rolls were good. My 4 year old daughter ate most of them. My dish I ordered was really good. I got the mild spice level so I could taste the flavor. It wasn't too spicy. I'll stay with that level. This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was fast, efficient, and constantly refilling our waters. I got the Pad Kee Mow, and it tasted so good. My dad is from Thailand, and has made me dishes similar to this, so it reminded me of being home with him and my family. Environment of the restaurant was cute. I had to get a to go box because there was so much food on my plate (which is great). The food was about $14, which I think was definitely worth how much there was. read more

Drove from Waller, Texas to try this place. We walked in to all of the staff sitting down at tables, and they turned around staring at us. One of the ladies held up her watch, and told us they were closed. It was 232 pm. We told them we had driven from out of town to try this place, but they did not seem to care about losing our business as they just said closed. The hours on the door said they were open until 9 pm. My favorite Thai place was closed and I was really craving pad kapow. So I looked at what was open and I saw Bangkok Thai kitchen..had pretty good reviews and decided to give it a try. I didn't know it was connected to the same building as a gas station so when I pulled up I was a little skeptical, buuut thankfully the food was really good. Decided to try the new Kluay Kluay as it's easier to get to than dealing with the Wal-mart and Chick-fil-a traffic near the original one. Apparently they are owned by different folks, which I didn't know when I went to this one. I ordered my favorite dish, the Pad See Ewe with chicken, mild spicy. It was absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of heat for a mild dish. Enough to know it's there, but not sending me running to my water cup or breaking into a sweat. The lunch special includes two egg rolls with the meal, which the server/host was helpful enough to point out when we started to order egg rolls as an appetizer. My partner ordered the Pad Woon Sen with tofu, and said it was also very good, with the tofu being nice and firm instead of mushy and good heat to the dish. Both servings were large enough for us to have half left over for lunch tomorrow as well. The egg rolls were good, crispy and with just the right flavor. Love the sauce! The service was a little laid back for lunch time, but not hideously slow and we were able to enjoy our meal without a lot of interruptions from the wait staff, which is always nice. Will be back for sure, as it has a more extensive menu than the other Kluay Kluay, and the food is great. read more

Amazing food and very quick service! I got take away service so it was very quick in and out experience in the shop. The food itself was great!! They give a decent quantity of curry with a corresponding amount of rice. The curry itself has a great spice level to it and a decent consistency where it's slightly creamy but largely what you'd think a curry to be. Vegetables given in the curry as a decent amount where they make up around 1/3 of the container with the curry. By the time I got home (10-15 minutes) the vegetables had soaked up a decent amount of curry while keeping that great texture they had (not becoming too soggy). read more

Foods are just ok but not really authentic Thai food. Service is not really good. They only took our order and brought foods to us. They never refilled our water or asked if we were doing good even though there were just us and 1 other table. They have 15% discount total bill if you pay by cash. However, they automatically took their 18% tips when we paid by cash which is ridiculous for me when we were just group of 5. They also calculated their tips based on total price PLUS TAX. That means we have to pay tips on our tax. The funny thing is when we got home and recalculated the change they gave back to us. It turns out that they only got 10% tips. read more

At first, you're sketched out because it next to a gas station, but if you can get past that, it does not disappoint. My roommates and I think this is the best food in college station quite frankly. My initial review sounded like I was joking, but i was being serious. Here's an update though! (TAKEOUT DUE TO COVID) Let's start with the ordering process. It's simple. Give them a call and tell them what you'd like to order and they'll give you a time estimate for when your food will be ready (always ready within time frame). I usually get the pineapple curry with chicken AND veggies (I just love vegetables) and it's a lot of food which is a great thing. Curry does not lack flavor at all, I ate there a few times a months while living in College Station. The customer service improved greatly. They even added a table by the entrance for you to grab silverware, chopsticks, soy sauce or chili sauce. I highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

The biggest portions I've ever seen. Legitimately. Not even exaggerating. My friends ordered the fried rice and they were still able to fill up their to go boxes to the brim after fully stuffing themselves!! AMBIANCE I remember hearing somewhere that Thai food is actually the most popular Asian cuisine in America. Bangkok Thai Kitchen would contribute to that cause. It's next to the gas station so we were a little surprised about the location, but the interior was clean and cutely decorated with green skittle colored seats. FOOD I got the Pad Kee Mow, medium spicy, and should have asked for extra basil. It was not in the least spicy, but I like to play it safe the first time I go to places. Flavor wise I can't say I was blown away, but it was still yummy and it was still HUGE. Can we talk about value here?? Friends got the pad thai which came out stinking of fish sauce (always a delectably good stink) and lime wedges. Looked pretty legit. The green curry, my friend said, was also pretty amazing. I had the Green Curry with chicken lunch special. It came with 2 tiny spring rolls that were fried crispy but good. The liquid part of the curry was really good but the stuff they put in it was sparse. The Thai tea was ok. I live in Hempstead and I haven't had Thai food for a few years. Went to kluay kluay for lunch and so glad we did. It was so delicious and the people were very nice. My boyfriend had the yellow curry and he said it was really good, he cleaned his plate. I had the pad kee mow and loved it. The portions were a good size and the egg rolls were yummy. I thought the food came out fairly quick and the service was great. We live close by saying we will definitely be coming back. It's nice to know we have a good Thai place in Bryan. read more

Alright, I'll admit I was giving it the side-eye because of its sketch location, but I went to a dinner party recently and our hosts bought food from this Kluay Kluay location, and it was FANTASTIC. I haven't had the food from the other location in probably 1-2 years, but from what I remember, I'd say the food at this location is...somehow actually better? This area is a food desert, (unless you're happy with wings, pizza, and burgers) so this is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and one I'd like to encourage to stay by giving it my patronage.
