Bread was nice and crunchy. Paté didn't overpower the sandwich. Would have liked some more pickled veggies.

I got the combo and it was fresh, really stuffed and only about $8 each, so good! The place is small but clean. Service was fast and friendly.

Came in today to order 2 combos after my doc appts. $9/ea Bread size the same, still hard as rock lol but I warmed it up a bit so the bread softens. The portion smaller than I remembered. They put less veggies. Meat portion the same, which is good. Flavor is good, but nothing wow.

Nice little spot for banh mi! Prices are very affordable here and size is just right. Their bread is really crunchy which I liked! Keep in mind they are CASH ONLY! Combination: 4/5 Typical banh mi but it was delicious! 5 Spiced Chicken: 3.5/5 I wish there was more chicken in this sandwich but still a solid sandwich.

They're a really tiny shop with only two chairs and no restroom for customers, catering more for takeout orders. The staff are friendly and ask if you want jalapeños which I opt out of. Their combination sandwich is 8$, which is steep even in San Francisco. . Ok portion of meats . Would've preferred more pate and mayonnaise, it's pretty dry . Bread was okay, on the harder side but not so much that it'll scratch your mouth.

Located on the corner of San Bruno Ave and Bacon St - fairly busy intersection and there's short term parking spaces on the street. Highly recommend calling in to place an order so you are in and out in a quickness. My friend recommended this place so I had to check it out. I got the combo pork which is roast pork, fancy pork, head cheese, and pate with everything included inside. I was surprised on how small it is compared to other banh mi places in the South Bay especially if it costs $7.50. To be honest, the bread was pretty good and everything inside seems pretty fresh and flavorful so I can see why this place is highly rated. I would definitely give this place another visit to try out their other sandwiches. Also make sure to bring cash because they do not accept cards.

My go-to shop for a quick banh mi sandwich especially on a busy work day. I love the crunch on my bread!

Solid neighborhood addition. Good sandwiches. Unfortunately, it's cash and Zelle only, so plan accordingly.

Quick service (cash only) of generous banh mi sandwiches. I recall it to be "to go only" but ensures fast counter service.

Really delicious Bahn mi sandwiches! Had the beef, but the pork is better. They have tofu Bahn mi for vegetarians.

Ordered the coconut braised pig ear banh mi since I never seen that on any menu before. Enjoyed the flavors. Ordered the combo with the $3 Vietnamese coffee. Also got just a bread and shrimp spring rolls. Because the banh mi is big, it seems the filling isn't as substantial but the flavors were there. The shrimp roll was ok. Need to come back and try the pork. There is no beef that other places have. Mostly takeout but there are three small tables that sit two people each.

Ordering was easy, with multiple self-service kiosks available, or you can order at the register. We went with the cold cut bánh mì combo, which includes your choice of sandwich and a drink for just $10--a great value. They also offer a small discount if you pay with cash by avoiding the card surcharge, which was a nice bonus. Our food came out quickly, taking only about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, this is where the experience fell short for us. While the bread was soft and fluffy with a nice texture, the sandwich itself felt underwhelming. It wasn't as generously filled as a traditional bánh mì, lacking the layers of cold cuts, pâté, mayonnaise, and pickled vegetables that give the sandwich its signature balance of flavors and textures. The seasoning also leaned heavily on black pepper, which overpowered the other ingredients. Overall, the sandwich tasted one-dimensional and was missing the bright, fresh, and savory combination that we typically look for in a great bánh mì. Overall, we were disappointed given the strong reputation and positive reviews. While the combo offers excellent value, the sandwich didn't meet our expectations, and we likely won't be returning. We'd rather pay a little more for a bánh mì that offers better flavor, freshness, and a more satisfying filling.

It checks off everything you'd want, filling, tasty, good amount of meat and veggies, and just a wholesome corner store deli sandwich! Fear of Mission Out. The sandwiches are in high demand. The line on a Saturday that went from the intersection, around the fridge section, to the cashier took about 15 minutes and the sandwich took another 15. Both sandwiches were filling and fresh. We got hot ones with toasted bread. The couch potato with crispy pancetta was good, but American cheesier than expected. The preferable lemon pepper chicken sandwich was bright, flavorful, and tangy, with more dimension. I don't know if it's my favorite sandwich, but certainly top five. I give them five stars, however, because everyone was unpretentious and super nice, the sandwich artist is a machine, they have unique items, and they only charge $1.25 for a can of soda. As for the fresh chocolate chip cookies, my wife liked them. I didn't understand the hype. They were fudgey and doughy, so I guess if you like eating cookie dough you'll love them. We bought enough to have one as an appetizer and one for dessert.
