Freshly made spring rolls $10 for two
    Cheryl G.

First time trying and it was okay. I ordered the pork bowl and pork banh mi no pate. I also ordered shrimp rolls which were freshly made. The pork though on both the banh mi and the bowl was kind of tough. Maybe it should be grilled and served hot. I will come back and try their pho.

Blazing 5*! ONLY GOOD ° 5 spice chicken was moist, flavorful, balanced. ° Shrimp Spring roll freshly made. Not stiff at all (like premade) - sauce is flavorful; although I do like it a little more peanut heavy. ° LOVE the window so you can see fresh, vibrant, and beautiful ingredients. ° Ladies making and taking the order seem very kind and nice. ° It's a short walk to have lunch while looking at the Bay Bridge. Highly recommend! It was a great experience overall.

Quick and delicious banh mi bite nestled a block away from the ferry building! Had a craving and was not disappointed... well besides the price but it's in downtown so to be expected! They also have some other eats like Pho, Bo Kho (beef stew), vermicelli bowls, and more seasonal goods! I'd come around again if I was around the area, the ladies are very kind and accommodating! Definitely more of a place to grab a quick bite on your lunch break if you work around the area.

The pho is good, but my favorite dish is the tofu teriyaki bowl. I stop by for it at least once a week.

When you walk in, it's a pretty small space but the vibes are there. A lot of people eat here for lunch or stop by to pick up, so plan ahead and expect a short line. My first time ever having pho from a restaurant and it was delicious! The broth was so hot and flavorful. The women in there were very nice and even the customers were helpful in suggesting sauces to complement the dish.

A great lunch option Banh Mi King is close to my work place and this was my first stop there. I love Vietnamese food, especially the Pho. On this stop I asked the young lady behind the counter to suggest something good for this first-timer and after consulting with the lady in charge, they suggested I try the 50/50, chicken and meat ball pho so I could get a taste of both! I went with their suggestion and was very happy. First of all, their to go packaging was great! When I got back to the office, nothing was spilled in the bag (Yesssss!). Then the food itself was delicious. The broth was done very nicely and their was plenty of it. The same with the chicken and meat ball. The bean sprouts and cilantro (in a separate bag) were very fresh and the rice noodles were done just right! Banh Mi King seems to be a family owned and operated restaurant. They have a small and very clean dining area and their customer service is great. I will be going back there again.

This small shop really surprised me with their pho. I've been here before for a banh mi which was pretty good, but today I was craving pho and went for it. You won't find pho on their menu though which is interesting because it was so good! They have chicken, beef, and meatball. I went for beef and it was all around a good meal. Broth is delicious, meat is tender, and they provide you all the fixins to go with it. Staff is super friendly too. Would recommend for a quick bite!

    it's the pho they sell

Good taste pho is amazing Kind workers, the community is so amazing, gave me the food quick and efficiently

Traditional banh mi. $9.25. Feb 2023.

"IT'S A BIRD!" "NO, IT'S A PLANE!" "IT'S QUE VIET!"…read more No Superman here, but let me be your hero for a second because I'm about to put you on to, hands down, **the best Vietnamese food I've ever had**. I actually discovered Que Viet through DoorDash and had everything delivered. I ordered the Deep-Fried Imperial Rolls (Cha Gio), Grilled Chicken & Chicken Imperial Roll Garlic Noodles (Mi Top Ga Nuong Cha Gio Ga), Grilled Pork Sausage Rolls (Nem Cuon), Vietnamese Shrimp Mini Crepes (Banh Xeo Tom), and the Grilled Pork Sausage & Sliced Pork Woven Vermicelli (Banh Hoi Nem & Thit Nuong). Yes... I spent almost **$100 for two people**. Looking back at the receipt, I had to ask myself, *"Is this place expensive, or am I just fat?"* Honestly... probably a little of both. Either way, it was one of the best $100 I've ever spent. If it's your first time ordering from Que Viet, do yourself a favor and get the **garlic noodles**. I know garlic noodles are everywhere these days, but these completely changed my expectations. They were perfectly cooked with an incredible bounce, packed with rich garlicky flavor, and the portion size was generous enough for leftovers (if you have the self-control). I also tried the **Banh Hoi Nem & Thit Nuong** for the first time, and it did not disappoint. One heads-up, though: it's generously topped with crushed peanuts. My friend has a peanut allergy, so thankfully we caught it before digging in. If you have any nut allergies, be sure to mention it when ordering. Every single dish arrived fresh, flavorful, and tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen despite being delivered. That's not something you can say about many places. If you ever find yourself in the city, you **need** to make a stop at Que Viet. This place has been living rent-free in my head ever since, and I already know I'll be back the next chance I get.

My friends and I visited Anh Hong as a large group of 9 and we able to try out a wide variety of…read moretheir dishes. Some dishes were better prepared than others, but overall, the food was solid across the board. If you enjoy making your own spring rolls, you'll love the grilled pork skewers. The pork is super tender and has such a incredible flavor profile of lemongrass, garlic, fish sauce, and more. Rolled up with the woven vermicelli noodles and fried wonton crisps in a rice paper, you get a wonderful combination of texture in a single bite. The other crowd favorite of the night was the bánh xèo -- the stuffed rice crepe. The bánh xèo here is by far the best one that I've ever had, even surpassing ones I had in Vietnam. The outside was insanely crispy and and was surprisingly not particularly oily, while the inside was loaded with fillings. Two other dishes that were well received by the group was the betel leaf wrapped grilled beef and the sugar cane shrimp. The beef had a very similar flavor profile as the pork, but the texture was a lot more lean. The shrimp had a bouncy, yet firm texture to it, and was very well-seasoned. My only qualm with the shrimp dish is that the sugarcane did not actually have any sweetness to it. There's fish sauce on the table along with a shrimp paste sauce, but to be honest, every dish we had was so flavorful on its own, the sauces aren't even needed. The only dish that we ordered that fell short was the grilled river shrimp. The presentation of the shrimp is impressive and very photogenic, but the flavor was lacking and the cook was inconsistent. Some people had shrimp that was undercooked -- borderline raw, and on the other end of the spectrum, others had shrimp that was so overcooked, that it was very difficult to remove the shrimp from the shell without completely tearing the meat. That said, everything else we ordered was well-prepared, and very tasty. Service was good throughout the meal, and I would definitely come back again for a meal with a large group. 4.5 experience rounding up to a 5.
