    Beef Bánh Mi

Wow, this is really good for a food court stand. It seems like they cook everything fresh to order, which could help explain the quality. And it's a pretty wide menu, almost like being at a restaurant. Vietnamese Savory Mini Pancake: I love the Vietnamese appetizers that are like here's some really rich thing and here's a bunch of veggies to wrap around it. It's kinda like eating a salad, really interactively I love the interplay of all the herbal freshness. In this case the rich bits were these cute little cup shaped pancakes with a shrimp baked in the middle. They were actually perfect wrapped in lettuce and veggies and dipped in that sauce. Vietnamese Pancake: It's not quite like a super sized version of the mini pancake. It looks more like a crêpe folded once over. The meat fused to the batter is shrimp and thinly sliced pork belly, both which taste awesome. And there's a bunch of thin onion slices and bean sprouts in the center. Same array of lettuce, herbs and pickled veggies to wrap around the pieces. Really yummy, in a different way. Shrimp Fried Roll: Another fun rich appetizer with lots of leaves and veggies to wrap it in. Here were a bunch of shrimp, individually wrapped tightly in spring roll wrapper then deep fried. They would have been delicious alone, but something about all those fresh herbs really brought out the flavor. Shrimp Spring Roll: Like standard shrimp spring roll, but 3x the size! It's longer, with lots of shrimp. But it's also thicker, with lots of lettuce. Seemed a bit skimpy on the herbs though. And the sauce was hoisin based rather than peanut based. Beef Bánh Mi: Not sure why beef banh mi is so hard to find, but it's a favorite of mine. Their beef was thinly sliced, nicely marinated and full of flavor. A good contrast to all the fresh veggies and the crusty bread. A really great sandwich. Grilled Pork Noodle Bowl: Large portion of thinly sliced and grilled to order pork. The noodles and veggies were nice of course, but the star was this delicious marinated pork. One of the better grilled porks I've had from a counter-service Vietnamese joint.

This place looks family owned small business, happy to support. Decent price and portion was good. The Vietnamese pancake cooked fresh was very delicious, it's my new favorite Vietnamese item. A little messy but possibly because I did take out instead of eating it there with a normal plate. Service was sweet and I did take out so they gave me everything I needed.

Ever on the prowl for yummy banh mi in the city, I came across Banh Mi by Mom via Yelp search. With only a handful of reviews, I suspected this place was new. It was giving mom & pop shop vibes, so I decided to check them out at the international food court post-workout at Barry's. Got a grilled pork banh mi, and it was out of this world! They literally grilled the very lean meat on the spot after ordering. This is a great spot to smash some protein, as they don't skimp on it. Super tasty and would def come back and support.

This is a new place that opened in the International Food Court. I ordered banh xeo Vietnamese pancake. The cashier only charged me $15 and no tax. It's nice I don't need to tip since it's inside the food court. I really want to like this place but the banh xeo falls short of expectation. They used char siu Chinese pork instead of regular pork. I also didn't taste mung beans inside. I loved how they gave me a good amount of veggies like lettuce, cilantro, basil, and even carrots and white radish. My friend really liked the grilled pork shrimp rolls though.

    Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli Bowl

Solid Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli Bowl - beef was flavorful but not tender - veggies balanced the meal well - the pickled daikon and carrots weren't as pickled as I liked, less flavorful Service was nice, a sweet old lady brought me my food

This was my second time here, first time because I really thought their food and prices were perfect for a grab& go work lunch. However this time around, I was taking out the cilantro in my sandwich (unfortunately am not a fan) and I found the longest piece of black hair stuffed between the cilantro pieces. I really hate giving bad review to new places but the hair really did ruin my appetite. Hope they can incorporate something to prevent this from happening again

I visited this Vietnamese restaurant at the International Food Court on 380 Bush Street for the very first time for lunch yesterday. I was very surprised and delighted that they were open on a Sunday morning when all other nearby restaurants were closed. I ordered the #27 Grilled Pork Noodle Bowl. The slices of pork were very tender and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly. I assume they were the mother and daughter who owned the business.

my boyfriend and i went for late lunch and were definitely not disappointed‼ they were soo yummy and a great size so we were full off of both. we will definitely be back soon the pork was crispy, the beef was tender, and the bread was toasted perfectly. the green milk tea was absolutely delicious and the coffee (not pictured) was strong which is what i prefer when getting vietnamese iced coffee we can't wait to try the other items on the menu! the service was amazing and owned by such a sweet family. they were very welcoming when we ordered and gave great suggestions on what to order. it was tucked away downstairs (@ the international food court) but is so worth it to look for!!!

    Grilled Pork Banh Mi

Banh Mi by Mom soft opened recently. Banh Mi The banh mi's are loaded with deliciousness. These are good sized sandwiches. I tried the beef and grilled pork banh mi. The beef is tender and the grilled pork has a nice slight char to it. Shrimp Spring Roll First time I had the shrimp spring roll. They go great with the sweet dipping sauce. Staff and service The family running the restaurant are really friendly. I am going back to try the other banh mi's and dishes.

The staff were both friendly and attentive; they even jumped in immediately to help another table with a spill, which was great to see. We ordered our usual, banh khot. Although this time it wasn't as crispy as I remembered, more fluffier this time, it still satisfied our cravings. We did have to ask for cilantro though since it didn't come with it. Also ordered the grilled pork vermicelli with egg roll. It was a big portion. It came with 2 pieces of thin but big pieces of grilled pork. The pork and dipping sauce was on the more sweeter side. Still need to try their Banh xeo next time.

Banh Mi: smallest I've ever had, 3 slices of meat and barely no veggies. Garlic Noodles with Five Spice Chicken: The garlic noodles had no taste (?) and just lots of barely cooked garlic sprinkled on top. The chicken was also very bland, not grilled and tasted like it was old and microwaved (?) we had to toss it because it didn't taste right... We ordered takeout, so when we went inside to get our food, we saw some deals for drinks to go with your meal. When we asked if we could order a Thai tea, they said no (?) and was just a really awkward, unpleasant interaction...
