Phenomenal!!!! Ordered the original cheesesteak w/ provolone, banana peppers, lettuce and tomatoes. The bread and meat were beyond fresh. Coming from someone who doesn't eat a lot and is very picky, I was blown away. It was all gone in less than 10 min. Can't wait to try one of the other subs!

Had the original cheesesteak and it was great. The cheese came on the side and I got to pour it on when my order showed up.

Ok, y'all You have, I guarantee, NEVER had a REAL Philly Cheesesteak like the ones from Furlough Brothers, ANYWHERE down here in Texas! This place has no dine in, presently, but you can have orders filled online, delivered and picked up. Sam and Mike are an appetite quenching duo. They both were employees at the Hilton Anatole, and were furloughed at the onset of the pandemic. (Thus, their name.) The chef, of the two of them, is a culinary expert earned his degree and specializes in his experience and knowledge of cooking in top notch restaurants. He knows every inch of a side of a cow and a cut of beef. You don't have to go all the way to Philly to experience the authentic Philly Cheesesteak any longer. It's in our Trinity Grove district, and your taste buds are knocking at the door of your lips to venture down to W Commerce and grab the essence of the best Philly Cheesesteaks you ever, (or, perhaps, never, ate before in your life!) Check out their menu, order, head to Clyde Warren Park, the Arboretum, your favorite picnic area, or head for home and don't miss out on this most fantastic, mouth watering treat you have ever tasted, this side of Philadelphia!

    Furlough Brothers Loaded fries!

First time visiting ordered the OG and the Bulgogi. Both were amazingly fresh, hot and so delicious. Unique and delicious fries as well - especially good dipped into Furlough Brothers special sauces. Try them all! Looking forward to our next visit as we work our way through the entire menu - it all sounds and looks great! Oh, and check out the loaded fries!

Ordered a cheese steak sandwich, while tasty? It had very little meats cut into tiny cubes.

Portion felt small. Cheese sauce lacked flavor. Jersey Mike's has a better cheesesteak sandwich.

First time to try their cheesesteak on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered a poblano cheesesteak, onion…read morerings and a small side of cheese. Asked for water, as I don't drink soft drinks or tea and the young man told me "we don't give cups for water, what do you want to drink". I said nothing to drink then and got my bottled water from the car. People should be able to have water with their meal, even if you have to charge for the cup or sell bottled water. Just my opinion. Sandwich was tasty but I didn't taste/see much cheese, supposedly Swiss? O rings were good and crispy, fair portion. Side of cheese sauce was TINY, fyi. Service at the counter was friendly other than the refusing a cup for water. Manager/owner came thru dining room to check on customers, good move. I didn't like the credit card surcharge (without being told or signage advising) as I had cash. 15% tip for counter service with the CC surcharge made my sandwich and o rings $18 and I had to provide my own water. Pricey lunch. Dining room could use a good sweeping, washing and painting. Both restrooms had signs on the door that they were out of order, but employees used them? Food and service 4 stars, minus a star for unannounced surcharge and no water. I would go again but not dine in, so I can get water and use the restroom.

The bread was super fresh tasting. Not stale or rock hard…read more They didn't add cheese to my husbands sandwich and they didn't add the ranch I paid extra to mine :( they also didn't add the extra sauce we paid for on the nice. Plus they used like half a tablespoon of soy protein in my sandwich and barely any beef in my husbands. I thought they'd be loaded like the pictures so I was disappointed. The flavor was great and the cola was 10/10 so they get points for that. I'll try it again and give them another chance since we overall really liked the food.
