This restaurant is inside the Hyatt. They have happy hour Monday - Friday with specials for around $8 and up. Which is a good deal and the portions were smaller but still good. The staff was friendly. It can get kind of busy at times. So we ordered Togo which it's normally not allowed. Happy hour is dine in only. But my granddaughter was over being out so the nice waiter boxed our food up. So I was appreciative!! I ordered loaded fries, my daughter's got nachos and chicken tenders. The fries were pretty decent. The chicken tenders were ok. My daughter really liked her nachos but they were very salty to me. It was pretty average, but served it's purpose. If I stayed at the hotel again I'd return.

Conveniently located in the Hyatt (where we stayed), I made reservations for the terrace which would've been great but the weather did not cooperate - an easy change to dining in. Ready to eat, we started with the slider appetizers that came with a nice quantity of fries. Not to overlook the shrimp appetizer, we ordered those too. All were great! The sliders were nicely seasoned and the shrimp were plump and fried perfectly. While I probably could've stopped there, we'd heard the chicken sandwich was good so yeah..we got that AND steak tacos. The steak tacos could've stayed out of the equation. The meat tasted like it came from frozen and the seasoning was forgotten. It was bland. The chicken on the sandwich was good but the toppings were slim...a baby piece of lettuce and barely there tomato.

Located in the Hyatt, it has some nice indoor and outdoor seating a little close to the water. Note that happy hour ends at about 6pm so get in a little early if you'd like to take advantage of it. Would recommend you make a reservation before stopping by, as it and other establishments in the National harbor area can get pretty busy on Friday nights/weekends. The menu is quite extensive there were lots of food options. We started with the wings and calamari, both tasty but also comparable to what you'd get in a typical bar. The buttermilk chicken sandwich was also tasty but my favorite was the chicken cheese ravioli pasta. The portions were decent, not excessive and you could probably finish it in one go. Our waiter was super sweet, but service was a little slow because it got a little busy as the night went on. Although there are so many other restaurant options would still recommend if you're in the mood for some American bar-ish food options.

Loaded fries (I added the ranch...they're not loaded without ranch...just sayin), mini sliders, and yeungling...does life get better?!

The minisliders are da bomb! The loaded fries are excellent! Maurice is great! I will be trying more foods to comment on

False advertising. Hh 4 to 6 not 4 to 7.

So I recently visited Bar Harbor today which is located in the Hyatt at the National Harbor, right across the street from the Silver Dinner. The food was decent. I had the sweet and spicy shrimp. There were 5 jumbo fried shrimp that were glazed with some type of sauce. There was no dipping sauce and it would have been better with a dipping sauce. Now the service was great with Maurice at the bar. He was pleasant and paid great attention to me. So the service was not the issue. The bathrooms were also cleaned and so was the bar. But the food was the issue abd the advertisement in the time for happy hour was the issue. So the flag outside said that hh was 4 to 7 but it ended at 6. I mentioned that to Maurice and he said they have to take the flag down. But what in the world. Why advertise something that is untruthful and a blatant lie to customers. Just my observations. And the food needs some work and they didn't have liquor on happy hour, only wine and beer. I would recommend new chefs and truthful and honest advertising of their hh times. But service at the bar was great.

Located at the Hyatt Place hotel at the National Harbor, this was a pleasant experience. Our server, Maurice, did a great job and was very accommodating from the moment we sat down until when we left. There is a full bar with TVs, and it wasn't packed during Sunday Night Football which is always a plus for me. Plenty of seating with booths and couches. The food was pretty good as well. We ordered the chicken nachos and the buffalo wings for our starters (which are pictured in this review). Both were pretty good options, I would order them again if I were to return. For our entrees, we had the breakfast burger (just a burger with a fried egg on it) and the ravioli. Both were good choices. All in all, a nice place to consider when in the area.

    Sliders were really good!

Food was delicious I loved eating here because it was quiet and had a nice view of the sky

Then to follow it up the service from our waiter Andrew was first class. He took care of us in a timely manner as well as gave great menu recs with even better service throughout our dinner. The food came out and was to die for especially the Kimchi Crab Dip! This place was so good we decided to come back for brunch the next day. My oh my am I glad we did, we had the most amazing experience getting in as soon as they opened. From there received great service from Misha and the food came out even better than before. I cannot stress it enough that THIS IS THE BEST BRUNCH I HAVE EVER HAD. The French toast made my taste buds dance every bite. The chicken and waffles cooked to perfection and filled with such flavor. Then the Kentucky Hot Brown is the food you wouldn't expect you needed in your life but you do. The sweet buns were so good I preferred them over the Cinnabon across the street. All in all if I could rate this out of 10 it was a 20 for how good everything was. I would recommend Brunch over dinner but both still were good. I for sure will be flying from California just for this place again. Succotash staff and cooks thank you all. Especially Andrew and Misha yall are amazing!

We started with the **buffalo chicken wings** (crispy, well-seasoned, served with blue cheese and ranch) and the **Korean-style cauliflower bites** tossed in a sweet chili glaze with sesame seeds and scallions easily the table favorite. The **beef short rib egg rolls** were a fun twist, served with two dipping sauces and pickled peppers that gave it a nice kick. For mains, the **bistro steak with chimichurri and frites** was cooked a perfect medium-rare and the herb sauce was bright and punchy. The **shrimp scampi pasta** was creamy and rich with perfectly fried shrimp on top. The **steak Cobb salad** was loaded sliced bistro steak over lettuce with eggs, cherry tomatoes, corn, red onion, and blue cheese crumbles. Generous and satisfying. Don't skip the **skillet cornbread** it arrives in a Lodge cast iron pan, golden and slightly crispy on the edges, with a scoop of whipped honey butter that melts right in. Absolutely worth it. Great atmosphere, solid service, and a menu that has something for everyone. Will definitely be back.

But don't worry they took it off our over $300 bill. Good god Redstone, that's the best you could do?! I will never eat here again, and I will never recommend this restaurant to anybody. Do I blame the waiter? Only partially. Because with what we experienced as a whole, terrible management and terrible kitchen. Update: I don't know how to respond directly to you Ryan but unfortunately our party of 7 was only in town a few days to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. Truly though, the lack of service couldn't have been lost on our server or your mngmt that evening (unless we were just that ignored and overlooked sitting in the middle of your outdoor space) because it should've been made right that same evening with even a simple apology or explanation for the night as a whole by your manager. Hopefully our experience was a one time deal for you and it'll be lost in sea of 5 star ratings. But no thank you, we won't be coming back.

So, we decided to have breakfast here the following morning. Our waiter, Roderick, did a wonderful job taking care of us. He answered all our questions and made any changes we requested which made our meal more enjoyable. I had the avocado toast and eggs over medium. I loved my meal. But to be honest, if there's a next time I'll order eggs over easy. My husband had the Oat Milk Protein Pancakes short stack. He ordered a side of scrambled eggs. He was kind enough to let me have a bite. The pancakes were full of blueberries and pistachios. They were tender and topped with almond coconut cream. Mmmm. They were great! My nephew had the country scramble. It included sausage and bell peppers. It was all gone in a blink. My niece had buttermilk pancakes and eggs. She enjoyed the pancakes but commented that the eggs were a little over cooked. The restaurant is beautiful and located in the National Harbor area walking distance from our resort. All in all, Vincent knew what he was talking about. We enjoyed our breakfast so much that we'll probably return later this week for dinner. It's open until 11 PM! Y'all should come!

For appetizers, I ordered the fried oyster deviled eggs, and wow... they were so good. The little fried oysters on top of the deviled eggs were such a perfect combination. Crispy, creamy, flavorful -- definitely something I would order again without hesitation. For my entrée, I had the whole grilled branzino served over a green bean and fennel salad, and let me tell you... this was hands down one of the best branzinos I've ever had. The fish was seasoned perfectly and cooked beautifully. And that green bean and fennel salad underneath? So much better than I expected. I actually considered swapping it out, and I'm so glad I didn't because it completed the dish perfectly. Every bite was delicious. I also had a cocktail called the Endless Summer -- a tequila drink with this amazing foam on top -- and it was excellent. I asked the bartender for a recommendation, and she absolutely delivered. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I went by myself, sat at the bar, and genuinely enjoyed every minute of it. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and just an overall really enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back, and I absolutely recommend checking it out if you're at the Harbor.

Since we had our little girl with us, she made sure her chicken tenders came out before the rest of our food without us even having to ask. It was such a thoughtful touch and definitely appreciated. She checked on us throughout the meal, but never so much that it felt overbearing. We decided to try the chef's selection of oysters, and Tiffany walked us through each one. They were absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be coming back for happy hour because I need those oysters again. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, and it was perfection. It was packed with lump crab meat and paired with crispy shoestring fries, which I absolutely loved. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the margarita. It leaned a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but that certainly wouldn't keep me from coming back. The atmosphere was really nice, and even though we sat inside, the restaurant was busy because of the beautiful weather. We saw several people waiting for tables, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation, especially on a nice evening or over the weekend. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with great food, excellent service, and we'll definitely be back.
