Whenever I visit family, I always make sure to ask about the latest local dining spots. My sister had mentioned this venue during my previous trips, but we never had the chance to go. Naturally, during my recent visit, we made it a priority to have dinner here on my last evening in town. We had a lovely family dinner on May 2, and the restaurant was cozy and intimate--the perfect setting for family gatherings, dates, or just catching up with friends. We were looking for a different Italian Restaurant. We arrived and the place has a nice atmosphere. The wine was really good had a glass of Zenato Valpolicella Ripasso. This was very nice, $17 a glass though. We ordered The Branzino, Fri Diablo, Risotto and Penne with Sausage. The food was Hot & Fresh, the fish was really good especially the sauce. The Risotto was nice along with the Penne with Sausage. The Fra Dri Diablo was very spice, lots of seafood pieces, cooked well, but very spicy, the way it ought to be. I've been counting and eating clean these past couple months. But your girl will never say no to trying a new place out. I came in a few minutes after my friends so I'm not sure if the bread was included or extra. However, I enjoyed the little olive oil plate they had so I can smother my piece of bread with. I was looking at the menu and my eyes were dead set on the Alfredo pasta. I added some shrimp And it was so delicious. I miss this type of buttery dish. The shrimp was also flavorful. I liked that they naturally charred it. My only issue is that since they have an outdoor patio they keep it open so the flies were bothering me. read more

I would say the best thing about Grazie is the staff. When we got there, the hostess could not find our reservation but she worked hard to get us an inside table as soon as possible. The bartender/waiter was attentive and made sure to check with us that we enjoy our meal. The food however was average for Italian fare. I had the Eggplant Parmesan. The best item in the dish was the garlic spinach side. My wife had the Chicken Marsala which was good but average. We had the Pistachio Cake for dessert. It was very good! My book club and I made a trip out to Orlando for an event and had lunch here. The food was good. Loved everything we got! I ordered a marghertia pizza, a couple coconut margertia cocktails, truffle fries and fra diavolo. Bartender was amazing; told him what type of drinks we normally like, and he whipped up delicious cocktails for us. Sadly it was the service that was troubling. We believe that we had a new, inexperienced server who shouldn't have been handed such a large table. When the checks came, everyone's checks were messed up so badly. Two items were charged twice and on different checks and we didn't notice until we left. Also, an automatic 20% grat was added to all checks, which perfectly fine HOWEVER, not when we're being charged double for items AND people had to pay for items they didn't order. After all the confusion, they weren't "able" to fix the receipts. As good as the food was, that whole debacle was such a turn off that none of us would probably be back unfortunately. read more

I am absolutely obsessed with Grazie Modern Italian Kitchen. We actually stumbled across it while spending the morning eating our way through East End Market after walking a few blocks and passing by, we knew we had to come back for lunch, and I'm so glad we did. This place truly delivers on service, ambiance, food, and value. Starting with the service. Our server (I didn't catch her name) was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We arrived right at opening, so we were the first ones in, but as more guests trickled in, it was clear that she treated everyone with the same level of care. She was accommodating, helpful, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The ambiance is another highlight. It strikes that perfect balance of being nice and elevated without feeling stuffy or intimidating. It's on the smaller side, which adds to the charm, though it might not be ideal for very large groups. Now, the food. So good. We started with the Caesar salad, which was a great kickoff. I ordered the cacio e pepe and my boyfriend got the chicken parm- both were absolutely delicious. And what really surprised me was how reasonable the prices are for the quality you're getting. My only regret is coming in with a half-full stomach after our East End Market adventure. Next time, I'm showing up with a completely empty stomach. We stopped here after the Yelp event at the salty to check out the Italian food that they have and I was kind of blown away by the service it's kind of in between casual and fine dining. I really enjoyed the food here, it honestly was all delightful. We had the arancini to start and then I had the melanzane (eggplant) a la parmigiana with fetucinne alfredo as my side. Right after ordering, I thought perhaps I should have gone with the tomato sauce pasta as a side, but it was still delicious! We went on Christmas Eve, which may have affected the service as they seemed to be a bit understaffed and so a little stressed but it was clear they were working very hard to keep everyone happy. It was an extremely busy holiday, and it seemed the team may have been a bit understaffed, which unfortunately impacted the service timing. That said, our server, Elizabeth, truly did her best to stay attentive and gracious despite being clearly stretched thin, and we appreciated her effort. We had just gone to Festival of the Trees at Orlando Museum of Art and we were looking for a place to do weekend lunch nearby. I found this place on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. The parking lot is very small but the overall restaurant is small as well and super cute. There is outdoor patio seating as well as tables inside next to a bar area. We chose indoor seating and saw pizza and pastas coming out of the kitchen window and they all looked great. Our server, Zachery, was very friendly and knowledgeable and took us through the menu. We decided to order off the dinner menu instead of the Brunch menu although the brunch items looked good as well. In fact, that was really the hardest part because everything sounded great. For drinks, I ordered an iced tea and asked for sugar on the side but then our server said he could add simple syrup instead. Let me tell you, the iced tea was delicious and sweet. Also, Zachery made sure that our drink glasses were always full, including my friend who ordered an Arnold Palmer. For lunch, I got the Risotto with Seasonal Vegetables with a side Grazie salad. When the SIDE salad came out, it was so big that my friend changed her full salad to a side because she didn't think she could finish a larger salad. The salad has lots on it including a generous portion of feta cheese. My Risotto arrived and it came with a small dish of Parmesan cheese but it didn't need it because it was already very cheesy and had big pieces of peppers, mushrooms, spinach and other veggies. My husband got the sausage pizza which he said was delicious and also very cheesy (I sense a cheese theme here). My one friend got the side Grazie salad and Tomato Bisque soup and her husband ordered the Fra Diavolo. The server asked if he liked spicy pasta and he replied that he was more about the seafood not the spicy so our server told the kitchen to make it a bit milder, which I thought was really nice. The steak itself was very poor quality and it reminded me of the quality of steak you would get from a dennys at 1 am.. We often frequented the prior restaurant here called BemBom, which was a Portuguese restaurant with some Mexican fusion. While we were sad to see BemBom go, we had high hopes for the new restaurant coming in, and those high hopes were exceeded! We've now been to Grazie a number of times and whether we've had their pizzas or pastas it's always been high-quality and great portions. The service is great. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and we really like sitting outside when it's cooler out. Very few places have covered outdoor patio areas and this one gives you a nice view and fresh air which we always enjoy. We've had the pizzas and pastas. Our favorites are the caccio e pepe with chicken, or the penne a la vodka with chicken. If you ever see the Amalfi Orange cake on the dessert menu...GET IT. You'll thank me later. My husband and I happened upon Grazie when looking for a back up dinner plan after the original place we tried had a 2 hour wait. Grazie is a small, stand-alone restaurant in the College Park neighborhood of Orlando, Florida. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Their decor is modern, minimalist with black and white photos of famous Italians on the wall. The tables are a little too close together, but understandable as the space is small. Also, our server was polite, but not that attentive (and the restaurant wasn't busy when we went). We were provided with complimentary bread and olive oil and also ordered the burrata for an appetizer. The burrata was fresh and creamy - a perfect starter course. I ordered a side salad before my meal: spaghetti pomodoro. It was delicious with the right acidity in the tomato sauce. My husband ordered the special for the night but substituted shrimp instead of the scallops that came with it. He was pleasantly surprised at how fresh the shrimp were and ate every last bite of his pasta dish. For dessert, we ordered the lemonciti. The old Bembom has been renovated and turned into this new Italian restaurant in the heart of Audubon Park. It has a large, covered patio out front and a dining room with a bar. We entered and were greeted by one of the servers who was also acting as host. We opted for two spots at the bar and the hostess assured us Mariah at the bar would take great care of us! Mariah got us situated with the menus and crafted some excellent cocktails for us - a Negroni and a tequila espresso martini for me. After we ordered, another server brought out a their complimentary bread service with olive oil and balsamic (nice touch!). We shared a Greek salad with grilled shrimp and eggplant parmigiana. Both dishes were really solid. We also got a side of fries, which stole the show (this says more about us than about the restaurant tbh). Mariah let us know they're hand cut and fresh, but truly something about the crunch made me think they've got some special method. New fave fries! Finally, we got the lemon cake. It was DIVINE. The merengue/cream on top was so light and the cake was perfectly tart. Overall, I'm thrilled to have this new spot open in the neighborhood! The bruschetta was good and had a pretty balanced portion of toppings. The burrata was good as well, but not as "wet" as I typically prefer my burrata and had more of a mozzarella ball feel to the cheese. We shared the Cacio e Pepe for the entre.
