After looking around, we came back and asked if the patio was an option since the misters made it surprisingly comfortable despite the Arizona heat. We were told the patio was for reservations only. When I reminded the hostess that we had a reservation, the explanation suddenly changed to, "We're on an event menu tonight." She handed me the menu while I stood at the host stand, walked away, and never really explained what that meant for our reservation or whether we would actually be seated. When she returned, instead of offering a wait time or another solution, she suggested we try Thirsty Lion down the sidewalk instead. At that point, it became clear that our reservation wasn't going to be honored. Parting Thoughts I completely understand that restaurants get busy, especially during major events.
