It's not surprising given the neighborhood and decor, but I think they lean towards more Japanese spirits and beers. For someone like me who's never been to Japan I feel like there's a traditional Japanese theme going on inside with lots of wood. A few friends and I came here on a holiday before dinner. Happy hour specials were still going on. I'm not sure if they thought they were gonna get that much business on a holiday but I think there's only maybe one or two people behind the bar. Since it was early when we got there, it was still not that crowded. I got the special which was a shot of Japanese whisky and a beer. Great price! Haha. I've walked by before where this place is really crowded so I assume there's a lot more people working behind the bar during the regular busy hours. Just a great place to grab drink drinks.

We were able to get a seat on the coach and order drinks from the bar relatively quickly. Prices were pretty typical of LA ($18-25 a cocktail) but I would say I probably won't come back this late as it's in a shadier part of town. They have a bouncer and it was fine inside, but it's not a place where you can bar hop if that's what you're looking for as the area is seedy. Echoing what everyone else has been saying - the service is SO slow. It was about 45 minutes before we were able to order our second drink and our water glasses were empty. They have so many runners bringing the drinks out but only a few servers and, from the looks of it, one bartender (on a Saturday night - what?!). The server was saying he was trying to find a manager to help out but they were nowhere to be found. Clearly management is fine with these service times since they're still making $$$. I do wish there were more explanations with the beverages, especially for the Paid Vacation as most people will not realize you're supposed to bite into the buzz button for the tingly sensation.
