    Hubby loves to smoke!!! Um... Wait... No.... Hubby loves to make smoked bbq... That's better! Ha! But really, when it comes to making our smoked ribs and chicken, our conversations usually start with the first sentence of the review. There used to be a BBQ's Galore near my place, but it's been long gone thanks to the freeway construction. Because this place is nearby to my job, hubby sends me here for his smoking needs. I go here for the spice rubs only. Well, we still have plenty of wood chips and thermometers, so no need to purchases those. My recent visit involved purchasing spice rub x4 and some spicy mustard for hubby's Tio (he smokes, too!). I was sold on a bottle opener/flashlight/lighter and ended up paying about $50. If ever I had a question about anything, someone was close by to answer. Pretty quiet store with plenty of parking available.

    First time grilling on my new grill.  Perfect sear on the outside and medium rare on the inside.

I asked my wife if she noticed it before and she said she did and just tucked it back into the gasket without telling me. Unfortunately, that wire keeps water from leaking out of the washer and stuffing it back in is not a solution. Myrna at Gardena Appliances had been so helpful during our crisis when our built in oven died and gave us advice to save money, I decided to give her a call to see what they could do. GA was the only company that gave me a price for the entire job (as long as nothing extra was required) instead of giving me the price for just coming out and saying they would credit that to the complete job. Props to GA for that. All the other companies Yelp referred only revealed service call prices. How do you compare one mystery with another? Didn't need to worry about that with GA. Myrna and Jose were able to come out the same day and when she learned that I was the one who had left a complimentary Yelp review for her previous assistance, her face lit up and really appreciated the review. I'm so happy we were finally able to do business. They took care of the problem in no time flat and for an extremely reasonable price. I look forward to calling them first if we have appliance problems in the future that aren't covered under warranty. They take pride in their work and serving the community in the South Bay. This company is very professional from top to bottom with the service side being outstanding. Have had a Frigidaire refrigerator giving me loads of problems and the costs were rising over 600.00. As consumers, we're at the mercy at times of the repair company when it comes to charges. But, South Bay Appliance came to the rescue! I set up the appointment with them and Tom came out to analyze the problem. Within an hour, he found the issue and communicated with me the cost to repair. It says all sales are final. It means even if the appliances do not work. At All! We bought a range, fridge, and microwave. The microwave has not worked since we brought it home. Plug it in, and it doesn't respond to any button selected. Assuming they stand behind it, I called Randy. After a condescending speech about how to use a microwave, I said I've been using one for fifty years. He said verbatim, "they don't make them like they used to". It was less than a week after purchasing. I found a better one at Costco for about the same price. I recommend anywhere but here.
