Although I didn't give much work for the barber to deal with as I am nearly bald but he gave me the time, care and effort to make me look sharp for my business meeting the next day. Worth the $20.00! I've been going to Eli's for about 9 years now. This is true talent. God gave the man a gift. Not only is Eli a funny motherfu*ker, the man is an innovator. Not many people know this but Eli invented the Fro-Hawk. Let me tell you the story. One day, he said, "Alex, Im gonna try something here. Trust me." Next thing you know . . . WhaaLaaa!" The Fro-Hawk was born. The haircut changed my life. I couldn't go anywhere without someone asking me who cut my hair. As usual, I referred them to Eli. Wouldn't you know it, several years later, Eli did it again. He extended the Fro-hawk down the back of my head and another great American haircut was brought back from the 1980's. It's called the "Duck Tail." Once again, the people roared. So Eli has not only the steadiest hand west of the Mississippi, but he will make the haircut that fits your head. He may rip on you for some laughs in the mean time but you will leave there looking like a brown Marlon Brando. Once last thing if I may; Eli fading is in a class of its own. I always went to super cuts god for how long and decided to come here after seeing the sign. I have to admit it's truly a work of art how they sculpted my hair. I always had went to supercuts just because it was just convenient, yet my hair cut was so inconsistent each time not always what I wanted. As a first time customer, oh my, I asked for a four and zero and it was exactly what I wanted with a pretty damn good fade. It was really amazing and the results were phenomenal. Better late than never. Seriously it's craft work, not anyone can give a good hair cut. The price is reasonable for $20 + tip. I felt pretty bad, I didn't know what the price was and all I had was $20, so next time I'll need to bring more cash for tip. No credit card accepted. Beware of diva barber!! The owner, Eli, can cut hair well but if it is his time of the month he will disregard your appointment and send you home without a cut. It is very disappointing to make an appointment days ahead of time and wait 30 minutes past the scheduled appointment time just to be turned away for seemingly no reason and without any explanation. Called to make appointment for my lunch time they said yes no worries they can see me in 10 minutes. I arrived in ten waited 30 and she did not look like she was going to be done anytime soon cause the hair of the guy in her chair still looked like shit. So I spent my gas, time and lunch to not get shit done. Had they told me to show up 30 minutes later it would've been fine but having me show up early for no reason is what got to me mad. Don't waste someone's time if you aren't going to be able to accommodate them especially when they tell you they are going to take their lunch just to go get a haircut and that they can take their lunch later if they weren't available right then.
