First time here and it was amazing! My boyfriend needed a new barber and we were struggling to find a good place. Now we found one. We had Danny he's great with cutting long hair. The vibe inside was great with a nice breeze and up to date music. Vivian was great at greeting us and getting us accommodated. I came to this place with a haircut in mind and with a reference picture to use. I told the barber exactly what I wanted as well; but when he was finished the end result wasn't at all what I had wanted. Not until the end did he ask how I styled my hair but the biggest thing I wanted was to keep all the length in the back where it was at. Not only did he practically remove all the length in the back but he didn't bother to check in during the cut to be sure that what he was doing was what I was asking for. Besides that that place was clean and I hardly had to wait but I'd be very hesitant to recommend this shop to anyone. read more

**GET YOUR CUT SOME PLACE ELSE.** The owner Vivian, has an unprofessional attitude to run a small business where every customer interaction and relationship matters. They struggle with managing online appointments which is odd to me, since this is an age of technology and online booking features/capabilities is the norm. This barbershop is convenient but not worth dealing with the attitude. There are plenty of barbers out there that offer the same, if not better service for the same price. I would check out Orange County Barber Shop in downtown HB or Dapper Don Barber Lounge in NB. read more

Been to this place 8 -10 times or so, usually get the young guy in the middle who does very clean work. Today I got an old guy, I am very disappointed with the technique and outcome. Clearly unqualified to call himself a barber, patchy fade, poor blend and overall he made the experience uncomfortable by due to poor bedside manner and he insisted on combing all my hair in my face and eyes and didn't ask how I style my hair (always 1st question) and I was going to get what he gave me.... Unfortunately you usually don't see these things until you get home, nor would I want him to butcher the cut any more than he already did.. . 40$ cut + 5$ tip = waste of time and money. read more

Not really the service I expect to get from them. Johnny is usually the one who does my hair and always did good but these last two cuts were just not what I wanted. I asked for a symmetrical hair cut & got a one sided hair cut (comb over) not what I asked for, so that turned into 3 stars. Then Mr. Lee cuts my husbands left ear in the process & my husband starts bleeding. Stopping the hole Jaír cut & into a surgery room between 3 employees & a scarred spouse wondering what's going on. Owner mentioned don't go to the emergency room & put on this powdered product to stop the bleeding. Long story short, a 35$ haircuts turn into a infected ear & a $$$ from the emergency room. read more

No exaggeration, the worst hair cut experience I've ever had. It seemed like the guy cutting my hair had never cut hair before in his life. I have had a mid length mullet for 2 years now, and he proceeded to cut 3 inches off the back after i asked for one (leaving me without a mullet). The guy next to him realized he was messing up and proceeded to try to help him fix it. At that point it was too late. I ended up with what i would basically call a pixie hair cut. When the barber next to you is giving the guy cutting your hair advice, you know you're gonna end up with a botched haircut. If i could leave 0 stars i would. I just went there about 5 minutes ago, the sh*ttiest haircut i have gotten in a long long time. I asked for a trim on the top and to not touch the sides. He took out a razor and I told him only scissors, he nodded his head then preceded to buzz all the sides off, I wanted to cry. I could not do anything about it either since the damage was done in one swoop. He then preceded to use thinning scissors for my whole head. This man did not want to accept the fact I had curly hair so he just kept cutting until it was not long enough to develop curls. read more

Johnny screws my hair up damn near every time. It's impossible to become one of the other stylists' regulars. When you ask for someone other than Johnny, it's almost as if they take offense and say here ya go, Have Jonny. This is my go to Barber Shop. Excellent quality hair cut for a reasonable price considering the quality of the service given. My go to barber here is Vincent - he always gives me a fantastic haircut in a very efficient amount of time. The big plus this place gets compared to places I got my haircut from before is the straight razor shave you get on the back of your neck at the end of the haircut. Vincent goes above and beyond with this, as he even shaves the hair on my ears with a straight razor at the end, along with my neck and my hairline in the front. The staff is always really friendly when I call and is happy to set an appointment for me to come in later that day, or first thing on the next business day if I call too close to closing time. As long as Vincent continues working here, I'll be back for my haircut every time, as once you find a great barber like him, you won't want to look around for someone else. read more

OK - 3 stars. Not the worst; not outstanding. Nothing special to say about the job/experience really. I went for my second time (in 4 years) and hoped for different results. I did my best to try to explain what I was looking for, but I'm sure it's challenging as everyone is different. I tried to make clear that I didn't want to be nearly bald on top emphasizing with my fingers showing exactly the length desired. I ended up with a super short haircut, practically a buzz cut... Good news is, I won't need a cut for a while. Bad news, it was not easy to determine the pricing up front. I could have asked, but I was not expecting a 2x increase in price since the last time I went. The stylist was generally professional in that he made sure hair didn't get in my eyes and did a decent job. Yelp's #1 question shows someone "believes" the prices start at $18. This should be removed asap. read more

I found Barber & Co a little over two years ago. This shop checks every box for me! EVERY BARBER is extremely talented and I have had the pleasure of being cut by several of them. While they are all great, my go to barber is Anthony. He truly does give the best fade in HB. (TRUST ME) Every time I leave I feel amazing and I look forward to going back. The shop is beautiful and they have done an amazing job maneuvering the roller coaster that is "COVID 19." Just got my haircut here for the first time after having found this place on Yelp! I live in HB and generally I get my haircut at other places, but the pandemic has not been kind to small businesses which caused my usual spots to close down. When I found this place on Yelp, I gave a quick call and they set me up with an appointment very quickly. I got my haircut from Vincent and I can happily say that I will definitely be coming here as my usual spot from now on! The place is very nice and cozy and I loved how everyone wore masks to keep other safe. Not only that, but my haircut was, being very honest, was actually one of the best I have gotten in a long time. It was also a different haircut than I usually get so I was extremely happy that Vincent was able to get it right perfectly! I will 100% be coming here much more often. read more

Got my hairdid with Jasmine. I showed her a few sample photos of the 'do I wanted to achieve and she was able to accommodate. She understood exactly want I wanted: low fade, but dramatic towards the top, natural part, with a nice "pouf." The sides were carefully done, gradual taper with no obvious topography. Blow dried my hair and shaped it nicely. Wife approved ;). Need I say more? Much appreciated. Nice to get a haircut outside with the breeze.
