The lady named Kat gave my husband a horrible haircut. My husband and I came in the other day, and I clearly explained exactly how he wanted his haircut. Unfortunately, she did not listen to our instructions. Instead, she was speaking in her own language during the haircut, and the result turned out terrible. I had Kat as my barber and she did an amazing job. I came in and just asked for a fade and she made sure to explain high/medium/low and what would look best for me. Kat was happy, and fun the entire time and made sure to take her time when blending the fade, as well as recommended what to do with the top. My husband just left the shop very pissed off, we have favored this spot for a while but today he got a lady that fought him on his preferences and he ended up with his hair much shorter than he wanted not his style at all that he has favored for 4 years. The womans response was "oh you look better this way" and "no that length will not look good" he told you just cut the sides and you just did whatever you wanted then did not even have the decency to admit you fukd up?! If you were new state it if you messed up say something and hand it off to someone that knows what they are doing. Kevin is the man! He's the owner and takes his time and will chat with you. A great old school HB guy. He knows hair styles and is worth waiting for if you have a wedding/formal event coming up. There's usually someone waiting for him. But if you're in a pinch, the ladies here are also solid with the usual cuts. Just don't expect expect crazy fancy salon cuts. I would give each one a couple tries to find out who you like better. If you call ahead they'll even wait for you after-hours as they close at 6pm weekdays post covid. You get what you pay for! Haircuts are only $12. The ladies who cut hair here are very nice BUT their objective is to cut your hair as FAST as they can! A barber normally takes 20 to 30 minutes to cut my hair. The lady who cut my hair was done in five minutes! As you can see from my back hair neck line, she butchered it in rush to get finished as quickly as possible. I watched other guys come in with different lady barbers and five minutes was the norm for cutting time as well for them. Bottom line, you should not expect much here for a $12 haircut. Learned my lesson. Will take my business elsewhere next time where I will spend a little more where a barber will take more time and I willB look a lot better when I leave! read more

My haircut was uneven and did not flow naturally. Very choppy. I spent 5 minutes without a proper shaving and fading of my head. Shaved hear and there. Felt like she didn't know what she was doing with my hair. Wouldn't come here for a 14 dollar haircut. I was very disappointed. The professionalism in understanding what kind of haircut that was desired was NOT THERE, at the same time, the Asian lady didn't speak enough of a lick of English to be honest. I am a fan of Lucky's Barbershop! And even more importantly... so is my lady. haha They are solid, to the point, and fast service. Everyone here is friendly and kind. Prices are perfect for a quick haircut. Just tell them exactly what you want and they deliver. They do what they do and they do it well. It has that neighborhood feeling that makes the barbershop a communal place. It's great to be able to chat with some people, especially in this work from home age. Sometimes I get good cuts here and sometimes not. Cool location, sometimes small parking and a lot of nearby food spots if you want to go to. I tend to stick with my usual spots for cuts because some people just can't cut good. Also I like places that just give me a cut without constantly asking me if it was ok what they were doing. This is hit or miss with those regards. Sometimes I get bad fades here but sometimes god cuts. I decided to try this place today which is kind of out of the way for me but I support local business. and seemed busy which is great for them. And waiting patiently it was my turn and they decided grabbed someone else that came after me. I was hesitant on coming here.. And this made my choice easier to not come back. I took my son here get his first hair cut. The guy just barely cut the side of his ear and was over in less than 5 minutes. I said your done nothings been done and he's like ya it's hard. My wife brought my two 2 1/2 year old boys to get their cut as we have done several times before. My wife went inside and told the owner she would be in the car waiting with the a/c running because it's 96 degrees outside. The owner said no problem it shouldn't be more than 15 minutes. When it was finally her turn 20 minutes later she brought the kids inside and the lady said ok get in the seat and some jerk inside threw a fit and said "I'm next", my wife no we are, we've been waiting out in the car for over 20 minutes waiting for our turn but they guy was being and complete ass and said no I'm next again. The lady inside even told him that my wife was next and she had been waiting while the owner just stood there and said nothing or did nothing to back my wife up. My wife said to the owner, if your not going to do anything I'll just take them elsewhere. The owner just oh ok, take them somewhere else. What a jerk and a wimp. This place just lost the business of myself and my three boys. A bit of advice to the owner. I moved here from another state and I had the same barber since I was 19. Coming from a state that is 1,000 miles away, I had to find a place that was quality and affordable luckily I found Lucky's Barbershop and Kevin cut my hair and did a quality job. It was a lot nicer than this other salon I was going to here (and a lot more affordable). My brother waited around 10 minutes to get a haircut and the haircut took like 20 min. This place is cheap and is next to my house! The $8 price is great bc my brother usually goes to this $6 place in Westminster and gets a terrible haircut so this place is closer and he looks spiffy! Horrible place to have a haircut if you have a wavy hair. A man called maan who can not speak good English did a horrible job of cutting my hair with the machine despite I have told him not to do so and to use scissors because they are the only solution for wavy hairs. All he did is machine my hair like a sheep. Then at the end he told me my hair was not good!!! Very rude indeed. Also he scratched my glasses. I regret I went there. But my barber left the States.
