I notice a lot of the negative reviews of this place are all from yearsssss ago, which is also interesting because I just saw this place pop up a few months ago. So not sure if it switched ownership or closed completely and reopened, I am not sure what the deal is. With all that said, what I do know is that I walked in here one random late afternoon with my two young boys and was impressed by the price and the service. Was only $12 for a haircut, thought those prices were left back in 1995, guess I was wrong. This place had 4 barbers working and were churning out haircuts so fast there was no wait at all. Both my boys were looking sharp afterwards, gave both barbers $5 tips and walked out with two fresh cuts. $34 total spent for two great haircuts in this economy will have us coming back here for years to come, highly recommend and thanks for the awesome cuts :) read more

I work nearby this barbershop and always pass by it during the week. After three years, I finally gave it a shot, because I would see so many people constantly going in and out. My experience was amazing!! The vibe was very chill and very comforting. I felt like I fit right in.. The most amazing part was my barber, Hannah. I was greeted by Hannah as soon as I walked in and she introduced herself and told me to come have a seat right away. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and she knew exactly what to do. Other than giving me an amazing and great Haircut that was spot on to what I wanted done. She was so comforting and awesome person to talk to which made it feel very comfortable. It was my first time coming here and I am definitely coming back forever! Hanna was amazing and the price you can't beat only $17 for a skin fade and so well done on a timely manner. 10 out of 10 would recommend!! The owner was nice but I got a barber who wasn't nice and very argumentative and threatening. It's sad but it is what it is.

They've always got a few people working so I've rarely had to wait. I've been here probably 50 times and never been disappointed.

Been coming here for about 3-4 years because of the reasonable $10 hair cut and nice friendly staff. Price increased to $12 about a year ago which I understand with inflation. Went for a hair cut today, price increase to $15 (men's and boys)! Add on$2 for 0 fade, so that's $17 plus you add tip, you're looking to pay at least $20 (with tip) for a hair cut here now. Great service, great haircuts and I love this barber but might start looking for a more affordable barber for a short simple haircut. read more

Came by for a haircut. This is my second visit after my regular hairdresser put her work on hold to take care of her mother. This is a no frills place. I'm not sure if I'd come here for a style cut. Can't beat the price!!! The barbers are hit and miss but again, you can't beat the price. No reservation necessary and walk-ins are easy, but your mileage will vary with barbers. Some have a wait because they are better. Either way, you can't beat the price. read more

This place is located in a dated strip mall on the corner of Brookhurst and Adams in HB. The mall also contains Chicago Ribs (yeeeech; see my review), 7-Eleven (I will never go to another 7-Eleven again because of a bad experience in Vegas) and a taekwondo studio - Wow, what a combo. The only reason I come to this place is because it is quick and the people are nice. $7 for a cut and $10 if you want a cut and wash. No appt necessary.!I have had my hair cut with clippers and scissors and the result was the each time: My hair was sticking out for the next two weeks. So why do I come back? There is this hot smilf (single mom - you get the picture - lol) that works there. She is the younger of the 3 women that work there by far. She has nice curves and dresses sexy. I have not asked her out because I don't speak VIetnamese and she hasn't shown much interest. But if she wore stripper heels and a bikini, I swear she could work at Di Vang Cafe on Euclid in GG (I have actually never been there, but my friends have told me about it - lmfao). Very cool/chill barber shop. I came in today around 10:50am it was empty. They greeted me and right away sat me down. Got a low fade with a trim on top. It was only $8 and it's now 11:20am I'm on my way home. Haha quick and cheap for a legit hair cut. Definitely coming back! Aye deadass I came in to the barber for the first fantastic job they 100 recommend the place.

Make sure you go early because they seem to close whenever they want even though they post hours, they don't go by posted business hours.

Website says open to 6 - nope they were closed when I got there at 330. Called them another day. Guy says open to 3 today - get there at 230 -CLOSED. Neon sign says open to 6, card on the door says open to 6. Wow..cant even be bothered to change the signage? Wasted my time twice. Don't waste your time - find a barber who wants to work. read more

I love going here BUT! The people that have been there the longest are the ones to go to. I don't even look at my hair when the guy in the back cuts my hair or the two ladies that are usually there when I come in. The new people that start working there are not good. My hair today was awful chunks of hair missing in the line of my fade. Please you guys are awesome stop brining in new people. read more

You get what you pay for. The old asian lady here was very rude and terrible at cutting hair. She kept saying "I only cut once! Cut once!!" Once she cut the hair, my bangs were crooked and I asked her to fix it. Then she said "I said I only cut once!" Finally the other barber said he could fix it. Then she yelled "Go sit over there!". I felt like I was back in elementary school. She was also really rough with my hair too. The other barber stepped in and completely redid my hair which I am satisfied with. For the price you can't beat it. As long as you keep your style simple, you can't go wrong. Customer service is non existent. Walked in, not even a hello we'll be with you. Just a stare when I walked in and I just sat and waited. If this location charged something like $15 nothing over 1 star would do, but being cheap you put up with the stupidity of the employees.
