Clean out was needed in the main sewer line (cause life happens) and Barbosa Plumbing came to the rescue! He came on a VERY short notice on a Sunday afternoon after reaching out to anyone via Yelp. He was the second person to answer the call but the 1st to respond to my emergency. Actually showed up early too! Ran a camera and bam...roots in the system was the culprit. They were taken out with a hydro flush, checked it again and it's as good as new! I'll sleep better tonight. As far value goes...I don't think it was too bad considering it was late on a Sunday afternoon. I'm truly grateful and paid it gladly. They accepts checks or credit cards. Mmmmaybe cash? Overall...I highly recommend Barbosa Plumbing & Sewer! I don't think they typically come out this late on weekends but I count myself as "lucky" that they responded to my emergency. Highly recommend Barbosa Plumbing! I had a stopped up bathroom sink that needed attention. Luis came the same day to try to snake the drain. Turned out to be a more extensive problem requiring a drain pipe to be replaced under the house. Luis checked the other pipes as well and determined that multiple pipes were leaking. They were able to come the next day and replace them all. The price was quite reasonable, they were professional and on time. They also checked all the water flow to see if there were any other issues as it's an old house and cleaned the area afterwards. Thank you for your speedy and thorough service. He has all the equipment to perform small repairs as well as major commercial jobs on multifamily units - His quality of work, and adherence to code + permits is top notch. -He responds to messages usually within an hour during the day, and is clear with what he needs to get the job done, and if you are remote, lets you know when things start and when they get done, with photos. - He also sends email invoices, provides multiple options to pay, and runs a tight ship with scheduling, showing up early and on time. I found Luis and his company through yelp. He responded to my inquiry on here looking for a plumber for a repair. He was quick to reply and give a quote that was SUPER competitive vs the other companies I had received quotes from. So, I scheduled an appointment to confirm the estimate in person. Luis was very punctual regarding the time he gave me. And when he arrived he figured out the issue might something even simpler than the scope of work everyone else deemed necessary. Rather than having to rip through drywall and replacing drains and P-traps Luis simply looked and saw a simple seal needed replacing actually saving me even more money. I contacted several plumbing professionals to install a soft water system for our house that required rerouting of pipes, as well as to drain out and perform maintenance on our tankless heater. On the day that Luis came to our house for the estimate, we also happened to have a toilet backup. Luis is a gentleman for charging just the minimum to clear out the toilet backup. I hired Luis to install a recessed gas valve for my new slide in gas range because of his knowledge and experience working with gas lines. Mr. Barbosa has come to the rescue twice for me. The first was to install a toilet onto an uneven floor. The toilet is stable and problem free. The 2nd job was the trouble shooting/investigation of a very slow bath drain. Mr. Barbosa discovered a very old bath drain stopper had fallen from its support and become fused to the inside of the pipe. Luis replaced the whole mechanism and the bath drains perfectly! Mr. Barbosa went out of his way to work with my schedule, arrived at the times arranged, is professional and works with integrity. His attention to detail and advice are much appreciated. Luis and Team are by far the best company I've ever worked with/had work for me on my projects. They just wrapped up a big apartment building complete re plumb job. They took a 3 unit apartment building and converted it to a 5 unit apartment building. They completely replaced/re plumbed the entire building with all new copper, PEX, and ABS pipe. They plumbed for 10 Nee bathrooms, 5 Nee kitchens and all new irrigation for outside landscaping. They are up to date on all necessary code per Los Angeles.
