The place has such a cozy atmosphere, with cool decor everywhere, and they even sell jewelry. They also have a piano, and while I was there someone started playing, which made the whole place feel special. I ordered a regular iced coffee with milk, and it was exactly what I wanted, strong and really good. Now I want to come back to try their food and more of their coffee specialties. I finally stopped by Barclays Coffee and Tea and honestly... I'm mad at myself for not coming sooner. This place checks so many boxes for me: great food, incredible drinks, and live music. I ordered their Turkey BLT and wow it was really well done. The turkey was fresh, the bacon added the perfect crunch, and everything tasted balanced and satisfying. Not dry, not overloaded. What really elevated it for me was pairing it with their chipotle dressing. That dressing deserves its own shoutout. Smoky and a little bold. The perfect compliment to the sandwich. Now let's talk drinks, because Barclays absolutely killed it in this area. I had their white chocolate dulce latte after having it recommended to me from the employee. Saying it's perfect for those that like their lattes on the sweeter side. WOW wow wow. Easily one of the best lattes I've EVER had. That is saying a lot because lattes are my favorite sweet treat. I get them all the time and have tried more than I can count from different cafes. This one stood out immediately, perfectly smooth, rich without being heavy, and just the right level of sweetness but also being able to taste the espresso. Not overpowering, not artificial tasting just cozy, comforting, and expertly made. I will definitely be coming back for this alone. I also tried their raspberry mango Fresca refresher, and it was amazing. Super refreshing, light, and not too sweet at all, which I really appreciated. The fruit flavors were bright and clean, making it such a great option if you want something flavorful but not sugary. I was impressed across the board with both drinks. Seriously! Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere here is something special. The cafe has this old-school, rustic charm with beautiful wooden furniture that feels warm, welcoming, and timeless. It's the kind of space that feels relaxed but intentional. Makes the perfect spot for catching up with friends, working, or just enjoying your coffee slowly. And then there was the pianist! Something I definitely did not expect. Such a nice, unexpected touch. Hearing live piano music while sitting in the cafe instantly elevated the entire experience. Stopped here for coffee this weekend and this cafe had such an adorable little vibe. They had a good amount of seating and it's work friendly. I got the white chocolate dulce latte and it was okay, I'm usually into very sweet coffee but this was a bit overpowering. I also got the breakfast sandwich with eggs cheese and bacon. It was pretty yummy, it could have been a little like more toasted but I did enjoy it and it was a good size for sharing. It also came with a chipotle mayo and it was super delicious! Only reason I gave this place 2 stars was because the drinks were good! But we waited about an hour to get 3 toast. To the point that I just went up and asked for a refund. When going up the guy had the nerve to ask me when I put my order in when he had seen me sitting there waiting for my food. I had asked prior about my food before asking for a refund and I was told he was making it. He was laughing it off and kept telling the lady at the register to only refund me the toast not the drinks. For waiting an hour for 3 toast with a baby he should have refunded me my whole order. The lady at the register was super nice and got me my refund seems like she was the only one working and he pretty much gave her all the work load. Came back to give this place another chance, and the space itself was really nice and cozy with easy parking. I ordered the lavender vanilla latte and the horchata latte with an extra shot of espresso. The lavender vanilla latte was just okay for me and definitely on the sweeter side. The horchata latte, however, was very good. The flavors complemented each other well, even with the extra espresso shot. I've been here before to try their matcha, which sadly disappointed me since it didn't really have much matcha flavor. Because of that, I mainly wanted to give their coffee another shot. I'm not sure if I'd come back, but I do have to say the service is really nice, which makes the experience better even if the drinks are a bit hit or miss. read more

We also noticed a faint but persistent dog odor, and there were a few small bugs flying around our table, which was off-putting. Our main issue was with the drinks. Both were overwhelmingly sweet. My husband ordered an ice blended drink, and it was not only far too sweet but also had a very watery, melted consistency, lacking the thick, blended texture you'd expect. The place is tiny so we were literally face to face with both of them and nothing, we asked a couple questions about the drinks and she provided a very anemic response, once we ordered the drinks took a while for them to be prepared and the taste also wasn't to my liking, the iced latte was overly sweet and the flavoring was too overpowering and artificial. Limited seating, too much space taken up by the table with handmade jewelry, should find a different way to display that so you can add a couple more tables, we had to just stand there waiting. After years of being curious to come here I finally did and I am so glad I did! The barista who made our drinks welcomed us in the most warm manner and offered some suggestions. They made the most amazing drink for me and my husband! I got the hazelnut heaven and my husband got the cafe de ollo as a pour over. The drinks were made carefully and well. The atmosphere is so pleasant and we were able to hang out for a bit on the couch and enjoy our drinks. We have been coming here regularly and won't be anymore. My wife paid about $8 for a cold latte and they filled it up to the brim with ice so they could sell mostly ice and minimal latte. I asked them about it and they said that that's how the make it. They also recently took away the water station and charge for water. Other items on the menu are also overpriced. For example, they charge $15 for what's basically a peanut butter toast. Not worth it. Following the general trend of most places of high prices and less quality. read more

I went with my usual iced latte, and it was a bit bitter though manageable. The staff member who helped me was super bubbly, and I really enjoyed the awkward and inviting interaction.
