We made reservations for 10pm after a show. We didn't need them that night as it wasn't busy but the bartender told us the week before it was packed. We enjoyed the service - th bartender spent time with us and was very personable. The pizza came very quickly. It was a crisp thin crust with just the right amount of sauce. We stepped into this restaurant not knowing that the kitchen was closing in three minutes, but the server was so courteous and sweet that he allowed us to put in a quick order. We decided on the 12" Margherita pizza to share and each got drinks. I ordered the Honey Heatwave which was STRONG but so good still! I love jalapeno in my drinks so that was great. The pizza was phenomenal. If the kitchen wasn't closed, I probably would've ordered another one but this is definitely a spot I'll be back to try the next time I'm in NYC. read more

New York is famous for its pizza and the thin crust pies at Bar Dough will not disappoint! Our favorite was the white truffle pizza but both the vodka and BarDough pies were excellent too. Service was very friendly and we felt well taken care of. What a fantastic restaurant, great vibe and some of the best pizza. We ordered the supreme pizza and truffle pizza.. crust was outstanding and very flavorful. We also ordered whipped ricotta with hot honey that came with bread sticks another great choice. A group of work colleagues went here for dinner and to play trivia. We ordered Roasted Cauliflower, Chicken Wings, and Whipped Ricotta as appetizers. For dinner, we had Margherita and Pepperoni pizzas. The trivia game was entertaining. They did a good job of having trivia questions for various generations. Let me start by saying I'm not a fan of thin crust. However, after being unable to order from my usual shop my wife suggested trying BarDough. I am so glad she did. I placed the order online and it was quite easy. The delivery time was stated as 31 minutes. The pie arrived in 25. The pie was delicious!!! Although it's thin crust it was just what the doctor ordered. It's slightly pricy, it came to $49 and change but it is definitely worth the price. This place was delicious. I came here after seeing 'Sweeney Todd' which is literally right down the road. It is small in here so I am glad I made reservations. My husband and I shared the 'Garlic Knots' for an appetizer which were super garlicky and cheesy... just how I like them! My husband and I shared the 'Hellboy' pizza as well as the 'Cacio É Pepe' pasta. The pizza was very good, I even enjoyed eating the crust but it was super soft. The pizza had a kick but it wasn't overly spicy, and I loved the honey on it (although I could have used more!). The pasta had really good flavor today with great black pepper on it. We really enjoyed everything here that we tried. The service was also super quick and friendly. From sitting down at 5:15pm to ordering to eating to paying, we were out by 5:45pm! Yes, we ate in record speed as we were very hungry but still... being out in 30 minutes? that's amazing. I would definitely be back and would recommend! read more

Last minute decided to come here before heading to a Broadway show. This place stuck our first with the name and then the menu. It is fairly big from the inside, but can't tell from the outside. The service here was great. I was cleaning my phone with a napkin and a server asked me if I would like to use one of their wipes. I was like thanks, but that's okay. I was really shocked at their attentiveness. Not only that, but the food was great as well. Anyways, unto their food items that I ordered was the garlic knots which is house made with garlic and extra virgin oil. I got the Buffalo chicken pizza which had creamy Buffalo sauce on it, provolone, mozzarella, Buffalo chicken and tomatoes which made a great combination. I was awestruck by it because it was so good. I didn't order dessert as I was so full by the end of the meal plus had a show to catch. I do want to go back one of these days. read more

We came early on a Sunday afternoon (around 12:30p) and the place had plenty of seats. I loved getting warm by the pizza oven. We were served by welcoming and patient staff. We got the Brussel sprouts and the Hellboy pizza. The sprouts were a little too tough and had very little pancetta... I wouldn't get them again. The pizza was very good: thin, fresh, crunchy. The type of dough you enjoy eating the crust as well. It could have had more pancetta (as well) and honey, but it was still great. I'd definitely return to try other items from their menu, hoping that the small quality of certain ingredients in what we got was just accidental. read more

Cute spot in Hells Kitchen. We had pizza, garlic knots, and spaghetti. Despite there not being a kid's menu, our waitress was accommodating and was able to order us a kid's size portion of pasta. Pretty good spot for pizza and other bar foods. I ordered The Supreme pizza, which had mozzarella, meatball, pepperoni, and sausage. The pizza dough was super soft, though there could have been more toppings and I would have liked for the toppings to be more evenly spread out. But overall, the pizza was quite good. $29 for this 16 inch pizza seems to be a bit elevated. I also ordered the Garlic Knots, which were okay. The garlic didn't really stay on the knots and the knots were not that soft/fluffy. The portion size was also kind of small for the $7 price. The Shirley temple ($3) was decent, but was missing the maraschino cherry that normally comes in it. The restaurant is slightly below sidewalk level and has a bar area as well as a decent amount of other seating. They have some upbeat music playing at moderate volume. There was a decent number of others there on a Friday night, but we were seated right away without a reservation. The service speed was a bit slow - our waiter took a while to take our order. He also kept checking up on us during the meal a bit too often. Overall, BarDough has some areas for improvement, but is still pretty good. If you happen to be in the area and are looking for a place for pizza and drinks, this would be a decent option. read more

I had a lunch here when my step-sister and her daughter were visiting from out of town. My niece wanted "New York Pizza" and this fit the bill nicely. Service was warm and friendly and the pizzas were delicious. I ate my entire 12 inch supreme pizza, although I should have stopped after the first few slices. It was really good and I love the light crust. It was a nice day so we sat in the outside area, which was pretty nice although it can get a little loud on the street. The prices were reasonable, too. You can't say that for too many places on Restaurant Row. I'll definitely be back. read more

Just a few blocks from Time Square. My husband and I needed some where to eat after checking into our hotel on Tuesday Night. BarDough was within walking distance and I was hoping for some yummy pizza. We were greeted at the door and sat right away. To start, we decided to order the Prosciutto and Burrata. I'm a sucker for burrata and this dish did not disappoint. I just wish we were given more bread to evenly divide the pairings. Also ordered the kale Caesar salad and Tommy's Pesto pizza. The Caesar was good - veggies were fresh and plenty of parmesan. They did toss the salad for us, but I felt like there needed more dressing. The lettuce was barely coated. Pesto pizza was delicious! I love a good thin, crisp crust and BarDough did not disappoint! A great place for a pie! The place hasn't gotten popular yet but it was great. Walked in on a Sat night and got seated at a high top immediately. My friend and I got the Pizza Alla Vodka and the Giarre Di Aetna. The pies came out fast and hot and it's a great place for thin slice. The servers were friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed our meal here. We chose it among all the other pizza places because it had a reservation available and looked great. It didn't disappoint. Randomly ended up stopping in for a beer and a bite to eat after strolling the neighborhood. Came around 4pm on a Thursday and there was no crowd at all so that was great. I really just wanted to keep it simple so I went with a small meat lovers pizza and caci e pepe. Pizza was solid but the crust was phenomenal. Went here tonight for drinks and dinner. It's small narrow place with a bar and a few high tables in the front, and lower tables at the back, near their cool brick oven. The service here is really good, everyone treating us really well. They have Peroni on tap so we started with that! Excellent tasting beer that is nice and cold. For dinner, we ordered the Buffalo wings (deep fried extra crispy) and the Supreme 12" pizza. The wings came out quickly and were covered in a lot of medium tasting Buffalo wing sauce. Perhaps a bit too much sauce for me, as it made them soggy really fast. However, the wings were really good tasting. Next time I'll get the sauce on the side. The pizza also came out quickly and the crust on it was nice and crispy. The toppings were pepperoni, sausage, meatball, garlic, and hot honey. The latter was a bit too spicy for me, however the rest of the toppings were really tasty. read more
